It does well on wood floors but when it comes to carpet it’s a huge let down. Honestly we’ve considered returning it for a cordless if all we are going to use it on is the wood floors in our kitchen/entry way. It’s also hard to put it back together, the wheels squeak. Just feels cheap. It simply falls short for me.

Terrific lightweight vacuum

It has great suction, useful attachments, and the powered cleaning head is a very useful feature. I vacuumed the master bedroom with it, then came back with my Dyson and there was virtually nothing in the dust bin of the full-size vac afterward. This brings me to my first complaint (more observation than complaint); the dust bin capacity is a bit small to use in a home much larger than 1200 sq feet without having to empty it partway through. At least it was in my case. For what it’s worth, we do have 2 dogs shedding their fur and tracking dirt in all day. Its size makes it easy to store and carry from room to room, but that also means there’s nowhere to store the attachments. It would be nice if it came with a mesh or nylon bag to keep everything together. I really like this vacuum overall. It’s powerful, not too heavy, and I think it’s a perfect gift for someone just getting started in their own place.
