Shark vaccums have the best suction and cleaning for borh hard surface floors and carpets.

Nick was a huge resource (once again) for my exchange from DYSON vacuum (which I could barely manipulate on my shag carpet) to the new and improved Shark. It was easy to put together; easy to empty; easy to change cleaning parts AND you don't have to lift the machine to transport from one room to another (the DYSON is HEAVY). The Shark just glides over the floor.

This vac works better than my Kirby. it goes from carpet to hard surfaces with ease.

The suction power of this vacuum is phenomenal. Works great on carpet and tile.

I have more than 1 cat. I vacuum my kitchen, and then use a swiffer with wet disposable mopping cloths. I always had a lot of dirt on the cloths, and little pieces of dry cat food. I used this vacuum I bought today. I then mopped the floor using a new steam cleaner. It came back almost clean. I saw one review on the steamer, and someone said it just moved the dirt around, they used a cloth to clean the floor after using the steamer and showed photos of dirty cloth. I used a swiffer wet cloth just going around the middle of the kitchen to see what would happen. It came back almost clean. I realized there was no pieces of cat food on either mop pad. I then realized the reason was because the vacuum cleaner did what they said on the commercial. It not only cleaned everything off the floor, but polished it by removing all the dust. I am so very glad I bought this. I have lived in the house for 20 years, and never did the mop come back so clean. I have a security screen door that I have open a lot, and the wind blows fine dirt into my house sometimes. I also have woven rugs in my home, and the vacuum picked up a lot of cat hair, but almost nothing on the brush rolls at all. I am very happy with this product. It does what they say it does.

This vacuum is easy to use and powerful. It is not loud like other vacuums.

I couldn't be happier; with the amount of hair and dirt these three dogs bring into the house, we needed something powerful and sturdy to keep up, and this most certainly does the job! If the manufacturer could give another three feet of cord, and a way to keep the on-board attachments held in place more securely, it'd be THE perfect machine.

Its a little heavy but it is the best vacuum I have owned in a long time. It picks up everything and does a great job on pet hair removal. I would recommend this vacuum to anyone especially if they own a pet or small grand children. I have only used this a few times since I purchased it on 6/6/2019 but I am elated that I finally made the right choice in a vacuum cleaner!

Was looking for a vacuum that would work great on all my floors, we got exactly what we wanted! We owned Sharks before and loved them, being a flooring installer I'm also always looking for a great vacuum for work. The hardwood option is wonderful, along with the low and high carpet (which we have all three in our house)! Would highly recommend for anyone with multi-surface floors!

We got this vacuum for Christmas to deal with our dogs massive amount of shedding. With our old Hoover (It was $200) we could vacuum multiple times in a row and there would still be hair on our carpet and, clothing. After using the Apex after two passes my Fiancé rolled on the floor and she had only 3 dog hairs on her hoodie. It’s been a game changer.

This thing is awesome. It has great suction and moves around easily. The detachable portion comes in handy for stairs. Honestly there is not much to say other than it is worth the price. This was to replace a Dyson that was getting a little old and rickety. We have 2 dogs that shed a lot and the Apex does wonders on picking up the hair.

This is easily the best vacuum I have ever owned. Just the zero hair wrap is a great by itself, but this vacuum is flat out smooth. Hard surfaces, tile, thick carpet, regular carpet, it doesn't matter. Works great. Only thing I would improve on would be the tool storage attachments, but not a deal breaker my any means.

This is my second Shark vacuum. I thought my first vacuum exceeded all requirements, but my new Shark Apex is superior. As indicated it does not allow hair to wind onto the roller. There is excellent strong suction as well. I especially like the rotating head which allows for reaching everywhere, although the rotating head was a feature of my first Shark.
