Vacuum handles both hardwood and carpet with ease!

Very heavy and difficult to use. Using it is very. tiring and emits a lot of heat. Would only recommend if cleaning carpets. The rollers are not tangle free as they would often be tangled. After a few months the vacuum stopped standing straight and stoped working.

For both hard floors and carpet this vacuum works!

This is a fantastic vacuum. I've owned many other brands and Shark really is the best. I have multiple cats and dogs and it picks up all the hair, plus all other debris whether on hardwood or carpet. The only thing I wish they would improve is the length of the hose. I would definitely recommend this vacuum.

Vacuum does a nice job. We have two Golden Retriever dogs that shed incessantly. As such, we have a lot of dog hair to pick up! This vacuum does a great job and is easier to use and lighter weight than the Dyson vacuum we replaced it with. The container is a little small, but it is a minor inconvenience. The price was far less than the Dyson and the quality is comparable.

I bought this with my daughter, as a Christmas gift for her and her husband, after their old vacuum quit on them. We've had our Shark for a long time and love it, and knew she would too, as we all have large pets that tax regular vacuums. We are very pleased with this purchase.

My wife and I had seen the commercials for Shark and it appeared to be what we were looking for. We bought it and tried it out as soon as we got home. It worked great especially on pet hair and dander! Going from carpet to hardwood flooring and back to carpet is not a problem. I whole heartedly recommend this vacuum.

The suction power on this vacuum is incredible. And the pet accessory is definitely worth getting. But due to the nature of the brush heads, this vacuum clogs at the base every single time I use it. And it’s already squeaking after 40 days. Im definitely a shark person. But this vacuum is disappointing.

I love this vacuum. Container in the middle broke but I just glued it back. I used to only buy Hoover but this one is so light weight. I will purchase another shark when this one craps out. My daughter loves it. She is regretting her rainbow purchase.

best vacuum I i have ever owned. Cleans better than my dyson and the bar does help reduce hair tangling on the roller bar. still small pieces of hair will get wound in it but nothing like my other vaccum's. And the lift away is a major back savor for any house with stairs.

We had the same model bought in Dec 2019 but the front brush stopped working, had the extended warranty - replaced it with the $700 Dyson thinking it was better. Wrong! Used it once, not as good as the Shark ... took the Dyson back and got another Shark (and warranty!)

I have had dyson’s Since they first came out I saw the informercial on this and had to try it out. Product works great I feel like it’s better than my Dyson Animal 2 the shark picks up dog hair better based on my experience. Plus my dyson just fell apart overtime will see how the Shark holds up in a year

I am in love with my new Shark. It is the absolute best purchase I have made. My roommate and I fight over who gets to vacuum now because its so easy to use and does a fantastic job of getting the dirt, dust, etc. that is tracked into our house.

Purchased this because my family member kept on insisting me about this product. After puchasing, i used my older vacuum, which is 700$, and cleaned my whole house. Immediately, i used the shark apex after that. I was amazed how much more the dirt this vacuum picked up. Greatest purchase evaaa!

My old shark gave out so I had to go on the hunt for a new one . It’s a bit on the pricey side but when I went and bought mine it was on sale plus the nice lady at Best Buy price matched it and I saved over $100 . Best part is the hair does not get stuck on the bottom of the vacuum .

Great vacuum for the price! We owned a dyson years ago and then one day it just stopped working. We liked the dyson, but didn't like the high price point. This came in perfect! It does the job of a dyson at a lower cost. Would highly recommend.

We've had this vacuum for over 6 months now and it works pretty well. We have a dog, a toddler and a baby so we vacuum everyday to keep the house clean. It is heavy but easy to maneuver. When my wife was pregnant, she didn't struggle. It does a great job picking up dirt and dog hair. The bad thing about it is the canister is smaller compared to other models.

This is a great vacuum for getting loads of pet hair up. Downfalls are too short of hose, and no hose extender is available. The canister will tip over if you aren’t holding it when using it as a stand-alone. Is going to require two people to vacuum curtains and higher shelves due to the short hose, one to hold the canister and the other to vacuum.

I owned many vacuums and Shark has proven to be the best vacuums we ever owned. Our previous Shark Vacuum model which we replaced with this one was great, but it could need some improvement in design. Shark did it with this model and that is why we purchased this one.

I have my own cleaning business and have owned several different models. I purchased this one for my home because of the light on the nozzle. Works great when getting into dark corners. HOWEVER this vacuum is bulky and heavy. Not as easy to use as the Duoclean models. Wouldn’t purchase again.
