great vacuum, but not perfect
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have tested this vacuum on all my surfaces, linoleum, short carpet, and tall carpet. I must say, it does well on the carpet, getting right to the edges. On the tile/linoleum the suction is good and I don't feel debrit flying back at my feet, a first for me with vacuums. It is well built, and plenty of ways to clean it out and unclog (if it ever does). The long cord is good, and the versitility is great. It can be an upright or cannisters, which is great for stairs. Here are my cons for this, none of which are enough to detract from 5 stars. First, 4 tools come with this, only 2 store on board. Now that being said, the pet tool and the crevis tool are what I use the most, the others I'm ok with going to get. Second, this unit is heavy, about 16lbs. hopefully that is an attestment to the build quality. Third, the way this stears, the head sometimes gets turned akwardly and I have to stop and set it up to re-allign it. Finally, many models include the under appliance wand at a lesser price point. This one does not come with that. Handy for my washer and dryer, my oven, and basement couch. my fridge and freezer have set up that keeps it from going under it very far, not sharks fault. I had to buy this tool separate. Overall, pretty impressed, and my 7 year old likes it a lot (gets him to help me vacuum, bonus).
