Should have more useful attachments for the price. The brush on the vacuum shines the floor the first few times used but then loses the shine. Also not great for home with dogs. The hair builds up on the shine brush.

I previously had a ‘pet’ vacuum, but hair would constantly build-up on the roller and I had to manually remove the roller to cut/remove long hairs. I do not have a dog or cat in the house, but I do have a wife and daughter with long hair that seems to constantly get caught in vacuums. After running through the house with this Shark, I was expecting a lot of hair build-up. I was surprised that there was literally none on the roller. I don’t know if this is a big ticket on vacuums these days since I am not a ‘vacuum connoisseur’, but I love the feature. In addition, I like the ability to easily switch between carpet and hardwood (I have a mix of both in the house). On the downside it is heavy and can be cumbersome while using it around the house, especially if you detach it from the base to carry. Overall, it is a great vacuum with a lot of power that I do recommend to anyone.
