great vacuume for the perfect price i highly recommend

I’ve had several Dyson stick vacuums and eventually replaced them with the Shark version. This vacuum is the best I’ve had so far. It charges quickly, there is a light so you can see pet hair or dust. It transitions well from carpet to hardwood. I definitely recommend this one for pet owners. It’s lightweight and the attachments are easy to remove.

The suction is most important and 2nd is the cordless feature which is wonderful. So glad to find this model at Best Buy. Vacuuming with it made a much bigger difference with pet hair! I love to clean and I'm now inspired.

Powerful vacuum in a compact build. i like the feature where you are able to pull the trigger to have the vacuum exert more power. charge time is a little long however

Brought this for an upgrade after my shark from many years ago kept stopping in the middle of cleaning. So far, I love it. I love how it adjusts to me going from hardwood to carpet and that it has a turbo mode. I don't have any pets, but love what this does.

Runtime not as good as I anticipated. Just when I get into doing some deep cleaning, battery goes dead and I have to pull out my big vacume, of which I hate to do. I probably should have just bought a new electric power machine instead. Now I'm going to have to purchase a new electric vacuum. That's why I won't recommend anyone buy this product. Also, it works have been nice of this one could be designed to hang from the wall with a place to put the attachments, the suction power is also not as good as I prefer.

I was looking for a cordless vacuum to use for quick cleanups. I have an older Shark corded stick vacuum that has been reliable and performs well, so I ordered this Shark Cordless Pet Stick vacuum hoping to enjoy similar results. Unpacking and assembling the Shark was simple. I didn’t even need the instructions. There were removable labels on the vacuum to help guide everything and even explained several features, like the boost mode. I let the battery fully charge before trying it. Charging is performed by plugging a cord into the battery itself. I had another high-end brand of cordless stick vacuum that used a wall-mounted charging bracket which was more convenient. Then again, that unit cost about $150 more than the Shark, so I guess for that money, I can deal with plugging in a cord. Another thing I noticed is that the two included tools have no place to be stored – not even a bag. My other stick vacuum had place to clip its tools onto the stick. That would have been a very simple feature to add and I’d have paid an extra $20 for it. Other than those two minor inconveniences, I’d say the Shark is a good value. In terms of performance, it has good suction and I like the boost feature. Of course in boost mode, it drains the battery faster, but it’s really only needed for the heaviest of dirt. In normal mode, the Shark cleans my bare floors, rugs and carpets easily. It fills the dirt cup quickly, which means it’s working well. Emptying it is a simple, one-handed task. I like that the power button only has to be pressed once and not held while vacuuming. The boost control does have to be held continuously for use, but again, it’s not something I need to use often. The vacuum head is very thin and will go under every piece of furniture we have. It does a reasonably good job of edge cleaning next to objects, though it’s not the best vacuum I’ve used for that. Attaching the tools is easy and they work well. The Shark is not too loud, I’d say typical for a cordless vacuum. Weight is good – heavy enough to feel well-made, but light enough to carry with one hand. Overall, I like this Shark Pet Cordless Stick Vac. It’s a good value and works well. I do wish that it had onboard tool storage. I do recommend this vacuum cleaner.

Over the past few years I've got kind of lazy and just used my Shark robot vacuum, but we now have a dog and I've always felt I needed to up my game but didn't want a corded vacuum. Just something light, easy to use in the high traffic pet zones. The Shark Cordless XL Pet Vac has delivered on all my needs and it's close to being perfect. In the box you get the Hark XL Stick Vac, battery, charger, main brush head and 2 additional brush heads, 1 of which can detach to become thinner. Setup is super easy, plug, play go. There is a air filter, but it's already pre-installed. First impression is just how cool the Shark XL looks. It has a grey-yellow color scheme, which fo some reason, reminds me of those Japanese Gundam robots. It's also super light, like incredibly light weight, and it's self standing! Yes, no need to bolt anything to the wall, remove the dust cannister, and it balances on the main vacuum wand. It's clever and makes the Shark XL also perfect for small spaces or apartments (I'm using this in a large family home). In terms of vacuum cleaning capability. It's a WOW. It pulls up so much pet hair on the main brush head. There's also a turbo trigger for extra suction. In standard use, the Shark XL is rated for 40min. For what it's worth, the main brush head also has lights. In use, I couldn't believe the amount of hair it was sucking up, I was kind of embarassed about how dirty my carpet must be. The other brush head attachments are easy to snap on, but (and I deducted a star) there's no clean place to hang them when not in use. What is even BETTER about this Shark XL is not only is it a great vacuum, but you can remove the main wand and use it as a small compact clean up the mess handheld vac. So it's a great handy vac too and I plan to use it to clean the car of pet hair post a vet visit. Seriously, the Shark XL is an amazing handheld vac. It's light, looks good, has great design, incredible suction and is near to perfect. Even if you don't have a pet I would recommend it as hands down it's the best cordless stick vac I have used EVER.

I like that the Stick Vacuum is battery operated but it does not get up objects that well. The Shark regular vacuum is better

This is a great product that my wife uses everyday to keep our apartment spotless. However it has less batteyr life and makes usage limited

Easy to use and great suction. We especially like using the attachment to vacumn on the stairs. Very easy to take upstairs.
