The robot vac does it's daily lap to keep the hair at bay, but for the area rugs, stairs and in places the robot can't go, we need a vacuum with a little more power. I could not believe how much hair this picked up! The battery life is excellent as well. Unless you're going Max Power the entire time, you can reasonably expect 30 min+ of vacuuming time. The unit is light weight and I appreciate that it has separate settings for rugs and bare floors. The design of the head, using fins instead of the brush roll, is genius. No more cutting hair off the roller! The vacuum also has a clever way to store it, where you pop the main part off and it sits on the front of the stick. There is no wall attachment for this, and honestly, I'm glad to not have to drill another hole in a wall. The only thing I would change, and it's minor, is the width of the vacuum head. I would love it if it was a few inches wider, but at this size it can get into more spaces, so that's the trade off. The 3 attachments are handy for crevices, dusting and furniture. Overall, this is a fantastic cordless option, especially if you have pets. It's significantly cheaper than other brands cordless pet vacs and since the battery is removable, you can buy a second for a backup or replace it down the road. I highly recommend this!

I have another corded shark vacuum that I have had for 4 years, and is still going strong and I absolutely love. I still stand behind the brand,but this particular model is definitely not worth the money.

Exceptionally loud for mediocre performance

I actually thought it was defective and returned after 1 use, only to find that’s actually how it sounds…like a weed wacker. It doesn’t stand well, accessories don’t attach anywhere. Just not a fan of this product at all.

When I got this one, I "liked" it okay but didn't "love" it. I have 2 dogs and the reviews I saw, other dog owners loved it. I find that it doesn't suck up the dog hair well and now it won't even suck up the the sand on my floors. I have hardwood and rugs. I had cleaned it out very real over and over. I am disappointed in this vacuum but I've had it to long to return. I honestly could trash it because it doesn't work. :( WASTE OF MONEY
