The unit is easily assembled and comes with several attachments that allow you to reach various hard to reach areas. There is one very long lasting battery and a wall plug included in the box. There are two settings, carpet and hardwood/tile. There is also a handy trigger built into the handle that allows you to increase the suction power with the pull of your finger while using the vacuum. The head unit comes off of the shaft and hangs low near the bottom of the unit for storage. This vacuum makes vacuuming much less of a chore. No cords, no heavy vacuum to lug around. It is overall, a very good buy.

Spend the extra money and get a dyson. I took the head off to clean before returning it and it was full of pet hair (2 dog 2 cat home)

I've been comparing different cordless vacs for a while. When I came across the Shark cordless pet plus. The reviews were all good, price was right so I ordered it. FANTASTIC! It has great suction, picks up dog hair as well as my corded Shark and, best of all, NO CORD! I have carpet through the house and have no problem with having power. Of course you have to empty the collection cup more often, but that is no problem as a trade off for no cord. I have nothing but praise for this vacuum. Picks up well on tile floor as well.

Much to my chagrin, the vacuum felt so cheaply made and was unpowerful. Had to return. Back to the drawing board.
