Overall I absolutely love this vacuum. I use it on all floors carpet and bare. I only gave it 4 stars because it can squeak and be noisy at times which I find a little annoying BUT the performance and battery life is well worth it and I would buy again. The attachments are fantastic!! We had a Shark before and the main difference I love besides the attachments are you switch the power on rather than having to hold down the button.

Great product across the board. Of course the fact it is cordless is a winner. There are two settings for bare floors and carpet. There is also a trigger you can pull to get a power boost for either setting. Battery life is strong and once you start charging, it clearly shows just how far along the charging is. It breaks down to make it very compact to store. It also can be converted to a hand vacuum to clean couches etc. Works great on pet hair. Really no downside to this unit at all. A definite winner!

The Shark Cordless Pet Plus is exactly what our home needed! We have two dogs and a cat, so the hair shedding is constant, and the cleaning of pet hair is constant. We do our best to keep them off the furniture, but we certainly give in sometimes. This cordless vacuum is everything we hoped it would be: light weight, very portable, powerful suction, and anti-allergen functional to keep dander and other particles from spreading around the room. Since we are battling pet hair daily the Shark Pet Plus is the ultimate weapon in our arsenal, it is so easy to grab from the charging spot, assemble into the floor configuration for carpets and then reduce size into furniture configuration without any hassle. Emptying the dust bin after a cleaning is super simple: just a button press to release the bin door over the trash and all the debris falls out easily!! What used to be an every other day routine with a bulky corded vacuum is now a daily quick 20 minute routine that gives us the same results as a heavy duty corded vacuum. Obviously, the suction is less than that of a corded unit, but the turbo trigger gives us that added power when we need it, while maintaining the best battery life. At the end of the 20-minute routine the battery still has about 40-50% charge so it can be moved onto the next room without charge. The Pet Plus won’t have enough charge to do our entire home, but were not expecting that when we purchased, we wanted a cordless with enough power to get deep into our carpet and clean off our couch, and that is exactly what we got! After months of thorough use we are extremely satisfied with the Shark Cordless Pet Plus! Pro: Very portable Easy to assemble and reconfigure Good turbo suction functionality Easy to empty dust bin Self-cleaning brush roll (we haven’t had to clean it after 2 months!!) Con: Battery life can drain quickly if turbo is used constantly (not a negative for us but might be for some)

I love this vacuum! It’s so easy to use, not super heavy, and since it’s cordless I can carry it all over without fooling with a cord. We have a dog that sheds a ton, and it works pretty well to pick up her hair on hard floor and carpet. It is not a heavy duty vacuum, so don’t throw away your big vacuum! But it’s great for smaller messes or quick cleaning in between times.

Perhaps people think negatively of Shark because they may see them as, say, a QVC style brand, but I gotta say, they make some pretty darn good vacuums. This is the second Shark vacuum I now own and I have to say it will be replacing the other vacuum (of similar type…stick) that I have from a different brand (Hoover). Compared to the other brand the single (built-in) battery lasts longer than the 2 batteries I have for the other brand. Crazy. I gotta say, the battery lasts a LONG time with the Shark. Admittedly, it does take a little while to charge the battery, but that is to be expected with the quality of the battery. I’m glad they provided a battery indicator light on the side. The Shark is actually quite light on the hand, lighter than the other brand. Which is nice. The Shark really sucks…sucks very well. And that is a good thing. That is really nice is that the device gives you a super suck mode using the trigger on the handle. Just keep in mind, no stick vacuum will ever be able to replace a traditional AC-powered vacuum any day of the week. AC vacuums are just so much more powerful (justifiably so, as they are connected to a more reliable power source!). So as good as the Shark is, you are still better off getting an AC vacuum if you want the STRONGEST vacuum you can get. The big negative with AC vacuums is their weight. They are heaaaaaaavy. So if you have a multi-story home and don’t feel like carrying a heavy vacuum up and down flights of stairs, then you should definitely look into a stick vacuum. And Shark makes an amazing one here.

I keep continually being impressed with pretty much everything Shark makes. It's like they know what I need next! My handheld vac died on me and I was in the market for a new one. I did not need a dedicated vacuum where you lug it out and unwind all the wires and plug in. I needed a quick pick up and dump. Which answered the call for me! I mean it is a bit overkill for a hand vac but it works brilliantly. It has more attachments than you can shake a shop vac at and that is a good thing. The only gripe I have is that there is no storage bag for the accessories. It just get chucked in the junk drawer until I need an attachment. The unboxing was unboxing a sniper rifle. Putting together reminded me of it as well! But when you put it all together it is a solid machine that can be used almost like a full vacuum cleaner. It is impressive. It even has a trigger to do a boost if you need it! How cool is that?! The motorized head is really cool and has a neat headlight as well. This maneuvers extremely well like all the past Shark vacs I have used thus far. The storage is pretty simple yet neat as well. After emptying the ample dust cup, you can store it by hanging it on the lower part of the motorized head. This balances out the overall unit so it will not tip over like other stick vacs I have used recently. The box stats that one charge can handle up to 40 minutes of continuous vaccuming. I think I went as far as 10 minutes but I did not feel a decrease in power in doing so. I really recommend this!

    Excellent Cordless Vacuum

Cant find one thing wrong with the Shark Cordless. Battery Life: After a full charge, I used the Shark to vacuum the downstairs area only. This consisted of an area of 1500+ Sq Ft with 4 runner carpets, 2 large area rugs and hard wood flooring throughout. I was able to vacuum my downstairs completely 5 times on a full charge before the battery was completely drained. Next I tried both upstairs (which is fully carpeted) and downstairs, on a full charge. I was able to vacuum the entire house 2 times on a full charge. I will say this is due to the carpeting upstairs requiring more battery usage. But the overall battery life grade is "A+". Suction power: Above average for a cordless Vacuum. It had no issues on the carpeting or area rugs and the hardwood floors were a breeze. Attachment tools: They all operated as expected and I was able to get into all the nooks and crannies we usually skip over. the added feature of the extra power tab on the Vacuum body is very useful with the tools. Cleaning the collection bin was very easy and didn't make a mess. Bottom line: Shark has made excellent improvements over last years model with regards to battery life, attachments, overall vacuuming power and storage of the vacuum when not in use. The Shark is definitely worth your time when deciding which cordless vacuum to buy. If it can tackle a 3200 Sq Ft house with 3 dogs, a cat and mini pig, im sure it can handle whatever you are going to put in its way.

Shark PowerFin Stick Vac All the stars! This is far and away the best stick vacuum I’ve ever owned. Let me just hit the highlights reel for you: 1. Packaging. Hear me out. I’m not an environmentalist, but I do understand that plastic packaging never goes away. Instead, Shark has wrapped each part in a high-quality paper that will decompose. Nice! 2. This vacuum really sucks. The good way. I have a full-size Shark vacuum, and have loved it for years for this reason. I was not expecting my little “sharklet” to pick up as much as the larger one. Surprisingly, it does! It actually does a better job on my tile floors. 3. That dust cup, tho! Not only is it a generous size for a stick vac, it’s very easy to empty without getting all that dust and dirt on your hands. 4. Options!! I really, really appreciate that you can attach the brush roll directly to the vacuum, leaving off the long stick attachment (Yes, it looks funny. Yes, it’s also genius.) making it SO much easier to vacuum stairs. There’s also an angled dusting attachment as well as a crevice tool. The vacuum is lightweight enough to mage using the attachments very manageable. The only drawback I’ve found with this product thus far is, as with most stick vacuums, there isn’t an onboard storage option for attachments. Pretty minor, really. Overall I’m more than happy with my new stick vac, and would recommend it without reservations.

I bought this as a Christmas gift....it arrived in a plain cardboard box, pieces all thrown into the plain box. No original box for the sweeper, no instructions and not even sure if all the pieces were enclosed. For the amount of money that I paid for the sweeper I expected more of Best Buy. Now I have to drive 40 minutes away to return it since I can not give this as a gift.

Pros: lightweight, swivel head with light for illumination in dark spaces, motor is fairly quiet. Cons: If you're accustomed to a Dyson stick vac, you wont be happy. Poor suction even on the "express speed". The included upholstery tool is very basic. Probably will be sending this one back.

The vacuum works great. Picks up everything and is easy to maneuver. Getting the battery back into its spot is not the easiest but it seems like you can charge with the battery in place. We had an older shark and the battery came in and out so easy made it easy to charge the battery separate.

This vacuum is great at picking up all the pet hair. The only downsides I’ve found so far is the battery doesn’t last as long as I would like, and the canister usually needs to be emptied several times in one sitting. But this has been a lifesaver to not have to deal with a big bulky vacuum in an apartment!

This little Shark vacuum packs a lot of power into a small package. It easily picks up pet hair, kitchen crumbs, and dirt/dust. The dust cup is big enough for extended vacuuming. I love that they have now included an LED headlamp on the unit. The fact that it has HEPA filtration is a major plus. Easy to vacuum under furniture. The head of the vacuum is detachable to create a handheld-vac. Great for cars and stairs. This is an excellent, compact vacuum with a lot of power. Highly recommended.

I had originally purchased another major (Dy... V7), it was a more expensive brand but returned it. The Dy... lasted < 20 min on a charge, had no light, no removable battery and would not pick up anything larger than sand. The Shark on the other hand is AMAZING. It has great power, replaceable battery, LED light and the battery lasted well over 30 min with attachments on and it picked up everything. Very happy with this purchase.
