I was so excited to receive my Shark CryoGlow Face Mask, and I’m still excited by its performance. In general, I like all Shark products since they tend to be well thought out, and the Shark CryoGlow Face Mask falls in line with Shark’s commitment to quality and, in this case, filling a niche in the beauty realm. After using my CryoGlow for over 30 sessions, I can truly say that there is a distinct improvement in skin tone, and I look forward to continued improvement in the appearance of my facial skin. There are four (4) treatment modes ranging from 4 minutes to 15 minutes in length: 1. Better Aging Treatment – 6-minute session (I’ve had 28 sessions so far) where it uses red and infrared LEDs to help reduce fine lines. I’ve noticed a definite lessening of fine lines. 2. Skin Clearing Treatment – I’ve had 20 8-minute sessions where it uses blue and infrared LEDs reducing acne and redness on my face. 3. Skin Sustain Treatment (recommended after using the mask first for 4 weeks) – this is used in 4-minute sessions, and I’ve seen an increase in my skin’s radiance as it helps maintain skin condition. 4. Under-Eye Revive Treatment – the cooling pad under each eye relieves tired eyes, puffiness under the eyes by helping tighten the skin there. I use this in conjunction with all the other treatments at the same time, and the cooling can be separately adjusted to suit your preferences. This has helped smooth and lighten the skin color beneath my eyes. All-in-all the CryoGlow Mask treatment modes target different facial skin matters such as anti-aging, breakouts, uneven skin tones and redness. I’ve found that using the CryoGlow Mask as outlined above, my facial skin has improved in all these categories giving my face a healthier glow. After one week of use, my husband noticed good changes in my facial skin and that my skin tone was more even. I’ve been using my CryoGlow Mask each evening before bedtime. I look forward to each evening’s relaxation and knowing I’m pampering myself to a better-looking skin tone. I noticed at the end of four (4) weeks that my skin tone was more even and a couple of dark spots I had had diminished as well as the fine lines under my eyes had diminished. My overall look was more refreshed. Likes: 1. I love knowing that the IQLED technology that provides LED sequencing targets energy between the layers of my skin without gaps or hot spots. This makes sure the whole face is treated evenly. 2. I love the InstaChill undereye therapy since it helps tighten the skin there and soothes tired eyes. You can use this under-eye treatment anytime, and I keep it on during my other sessions. It’s very relaxing. 3. The mask is very portable. 4. The head strap is completely adjustable. Dislikes: 1. The separate controller is too sensitive, taking more time to select the particular session you want. 2. Be sure to look at the battery indicator on the controller at the end of your session(s) each day to see how much charge is left. I’ve found that if I do two days of multiple combo sessions, I will need to recharge the device then. You cannot use the device while it is charging. If you haven’t figured it out yet, I truly like the Shark CryoGlow Face Mask and it demonstrably improves for me all the skin conditions listed in this review. This product is FDA approved, and I like it much better than a similar product I used that listed for $250.00 more.

This product definitely was a pleasant surprise. First off, Shark isn’t always known for high quality products or packaging. Mostly middle of the line work is to be expected, but out of the box I really appreciated the earth friendly packaging. You’ll get your face mask, carrying bag, extra eye attachment, and a wall charger. Everything seemed well made and easy to use. Instructions ask you to charge the device fully before use. What was interesting off the bat, is that the remote control is directly permanently attached to the mask. The wall charger, then plugs into the top of the remote control and a light up display tells you the charging status on the remote. Not that it matters much, as most folks won’t be in a frantic time crunch to use the device at any moment, but it certainly takes a while to fully charge. Once setup, the device has four modes. There’s a cooling therapy for under your eyes that can be used as much as you want, I believe up to 15min at a time, though I’ve never used that mode by itself. The two main modes are a “age defying” mode which lasts for six minutes, to be completed daily for 8 weeks, and is designed to make you appear younger. There’s also an anti acne mode that lasts 8min, to be used daily for 8 weeks as well. The final mode is to be used once you’ve completed the full cycle of the anti-aging or anti-acne modes, and lasts 4min to be used daily as general upkeep. I don’t have acne and my wife barely does, but I’ve been letting her use the device to test the anti-acne feature. It’s been about a month at this point and we both see slight results. Her only complaint is that she feels that her face is dry shortly after use. I’ve been using the anti-aging mode for 4 weeks now and have the same complaint about dry skin after use. That said, it’s not the end of the world, we both just use lotion after use and it’s completely fine. As for results, I’d like to think I can see some but my biggest tell tale sign is that I’ve had multiple male coworkers say they notice my skin looking healthier. That sounds not real and is hard to believe, but I’m being dead serious. I have two qualms with the device. First being that you have to hold the button on the remote for startup but you end up having to hold it for a comically long time, all things considered. I understand that they don’t want people just bumping into it and running the device, but a 1-2 second hold or double click is suffice. It’s probably closer to 5 seconds to power on which isn’t wildly different but once you use it, you’ll realize how annoying that becomes on a daily basis. No points deducted for that. My only point deduction comes from the fact that the battery is atrocious. After a full charge, I’ll use the device and already lose a portion of the battery display. It probably lasts around 5 routines, roughly 30min before having to be charged for hours again. Not the end of the world, but with having to carry the mask, cord, and attached remote around every few days to plug into the wall and haul it back around a few days later, the battery is easily the downside here. All said, if you’re wanting results, I’m skeptical myself, but the proof is here and I can confidently give this two thumbs up as an easy to use, solid device that does what it says. My wife was initially intrigued by the Shark CryoGlow mask, and after trying it, she can confidently say it has exceeded her expectations! This isn't just another face mask, it's a game-changer for anyone looking to combat tired eyes and achieve a more youthful complexion. The cooling aspect is instantly noticeable and incredibly soothing. It feels like a mini spa treatment right at home, perfect for de-puffing and waking up her under-eye area, especially on those mornings when she hasn't gotten enough sleep. But the benefits don't stop there! The LED technology is fantastic. She has noticed a visible improvement in the brightness and clarity of her skin after just a few uses. It seems to be helping with those pesky little blemishes and fine lines around her eyes. What she also loves is how easy and comfortable it is to use. The mask fits well, and the controls are super easy to use. She can easily incorporate it into her morning or evening skincare routine without any hassle. We have come to know and trust multiple Shark products and this is no exception. If you're looking for a multi-tasking skincare device that delivers real results, we highly recommend giving the Shark CryoGlow Under Eye Cooling LED Face Mask a try. [PROS] Universal Fit/Comfortable: For individuals who have an all-around average frame like my wife, the mask fits fine. However, the Shark CryoGlow also managed to fit my face well despite my larger build. The face openings were appropriate, and the design of mask conformed well against my face structure. Lastly, I can more above freely and not be significantly impeded with basic tasks. Easy to Grasp: The software interface and remote functionality makes it simple to get started and adjust routines and other settings. I didn't feel overwhelmed, and instructions were straightforward. Effective Features: I found myself very impressed by the under-eye cooling. Cooling activated immediately without a hitch. I found myself feeling and looking refreshed which calmed my initial fears of this possibly being a gimmick. From several weeks of usage, my face showed signs of clearer skin. Blemishes were a bit less noticeable, and I saw a decrease the prominence of finer wrinkles. [CONS] Routine Dependent: From my perspective, the mask only takes you so far based on your existing self-care routine. My wife is more rigorous, so her improvements were more noticeable and quicker. For me, it took a bit more time, but I've been revamping my habits to better compliment my usage of the mask. [CONCLUSION] Overall, the Shark CryoGlow is impressive. Being a married man, allowed me to view the effects of it on myself and my wife. We're both happy with the results and look forward to seeing more improvements with further use.

Bottom Line Up Front - this is a great device and I am impressed by it. I have already begun to see promising results. Packaging: The Shark CryoGlow Face Mask arrived nicely boxed with pertinent information prominently displayed on both sides of the lid. A QR code and URL are listed for easy access to educational videos. A satin storage bag is also supplied to protect the mask. I especially liked that well-written detailed user and quick start guides were provided without having to download instructions myself. A charger and USB type c cable were also included. Performance/Comfort: The mask is solid with adequate cushioning and a good quality feel. To hold the mask in place there are two elasticized straps that go across the top and sides of your head. The straps were easy to adjust to optimize comfort. Another positive feature is the handheld remote. It’s easy to use. Onscreen directions walk you through each step and keeps track of your progress. I do have a small concert with this though - if the battery malfunctions or loses the ability to hold a charge, it does not appear that it can be replaced (at least not easily). In addition, you can clip the remote to your belt/pants and move around while using the mask. However, the narrow field of vision made it challenging to undertake some of the tasks I tried like dusting. I also attempted to watch TV while using the mask. But the fan noise made it hard to hear. I found it best to either relax a few minutes or work on my computer since I have a large monitor. There are also nose and mouth holes. I haven’t tried eating or drinking anything. Despite loosening the straps, the clip-on eye pieces pushed the mask too close to my face. This resulted in marks on my forehead and under my eyes. While they are a nice addition, I didn’t find that they added much value. I’ve started to see some promising results in the 4 weeks I’ve been using it. I started with the Skin Clearing Routine for 2 weeks. My skin tends to have some redness and the color appears to be evening out. Some small blemishes were gone after 5 days of use. For the past 2 weeks I’ve used the Better Aging routine. My skin seems to have more of a glow. I enjoy the Under Eye Revive routine. The controllable under-eye cooling pads reduce puffiness, especially post swimming due to my swim goggles. There are 3 different temperature settings. Level 2 is usually adequate. However, I’ll use level 3 as a treat because it’s quite refreshing. The battery life is acceptable. I typically run either the Skin Clearing or Better Aging Routine followed by 10 minutes of Under Eye Revive. It needs charging after 3 or 4 such sessions. Summary: Despite its sophisticated technology, I found the CryoGlow Mask to be user-friendly. It has been easy to establish a routine for using the mask. It actually takes less time than the prior skincare routine I was using. It isn’t an overnight fix and results will require consistent use. I wish it had neck coverage. Maybe Shark will include that area on the next iteration. Overall, this mask allows me to pamper myself each day while improving my complexion.

I want to start out by saying that I love Shark products - we have so many in the house. We have and love their stick vacuum, air fryer, robo vacuum, and some others. I am always impressed by their quality. So do not take this review as a knock on Shark. They make great products. While this mask has a truly premium build, design and feel (I really appreciate the USB C charging, which is quick, and the hand-held controls are very nice), it is impossible to justify spending this much on something that is just built nice and doesn't do what is promised. This is supposedly a red-light product that is supposed to be anti-aging. I have read up on what red light therapy is supposed to do, and frankly, I am a bit skeptical. Your mitochondria aren't really affected by what light you give it; they are affected by what food you feed (and don't feed) yourself. You can't really "activate" your mitochondria by light. But alas, my wife really wanted to try it - that's what happens when you consume lots of social media and get bombarded by influencers who sell you on this kind of stuff. She was very diligent with the product, using it every single night for the last 4 weeks or so, doing all the built-in routines. She loves the feel of the product, how it fits, how it makes her feel - the cooling blue-light feature is excellent. But, after all that time she has seen no noticeable change on her face. No reduction of any blemishes, no changes in complexion, no change in color. As her husband, I too have not noticed anything different. If it does nothing, then it is hard to justify buying such a product. Her biggest complaint about the product is that you can't just use it freely. You are forced to use the built-in programmed routines that are limited in time. These influencers on social media are standing in front of red infrared light walls for upwards of 20 minutes. The programs on the Shark mask are limited to 6-8 minutes with varying light types. Assuming red-light therapy actually works, I would think you'd need to follow the influencers, i.e. allowed the use the product feely with no routines. Just blast the infrared light for as long as you want. I get why they would do a routine: the mask is so comfortable that relaxing that you'd likely fall asleep. You'd probably not want to be shining infrared light on your skin for 1-8 hours. Sure, you could run through the built-in routines multiple times, but it is not ideal if your goal is just to get max infrared-light time since the routines mix in the other color lights. I will give it a 2nd star because of the very high build quality and high quality digital controls.

My aunt had the cheaper one and i decided to upgrade. So far i think its working well! I found it easy to use. I would reccomend
