It's ok

I would buy something different if i had the chance to do it all over again.

Was using a Samsung jet 70 that finally died after a little over 3 years. Decided to try this shark stick vacuum because of the auto empty and charging station, and initially, for about 3 days, it seemed to work ok. After that, numerous issues started. First, the suction, even on first use, was terrible compared to my old Samsung vacuum. The Collection canister for the dirt is so small, compared to any other stick vacuum, that I had to constantly enough it. The battery charge does not even come close to what the box, and instructions say. It drains in under 15 minutes using the auto setting where it manages the power. It lasted 5 minutes after a charge using Max power. The area on the collection canister that opens when you put it in the charging station and the auto enough starts stopped seeming orient after 4 days, so when I vacuum, it leaks dust now. The auto empty receptacle at the base of the charging station is just a bin you pull off and empty. Because there is no filter bag, it is a big mess, with dust and dirt collecting everywhere outside of the actual bin you pull out and empty in the trash. There is a filter on the bottom, but it was cashed and clogged with dirt already. Because of this, that that are alegic to dust and dirt in the air will not be happy with this. On top of all of this, I have a husky and we have long hair to vacuum up often, and it clogs the extension tubes easily. It started overheating in day the of use, with no clouds, and after using fur 5 mints, it would just stop and the display would blink red. The head unit was super hot and if I let it cool down I could use it again without it stopping until it overheated again. Overall, almost every aspect of this vacuum failed within 1 week of average use. I'll be returning it and getting a better cordless stick vacuum that isn't a Shark brand. It's too bad, because there are some very nice innovations, like the removable roller on the head unit, which made it easy to unclog or clean it. The hinged extension wand is great too for getting under difficult, low areas. To bad the vacuum itself didn't work well enough for these to make any difference.

Good for hard surfaces

Dont expect amazing cleaning

Shock vacuum cleaner
