I love this fan , comes in handy when your out and about. The only thing I don’t like is that the mist doesn’t reach far, you literally need to be like 2 to 3ft in front of it to feel it. Other than that it’s a great fan

----- SUMMARY ----- Verdict: The Shark FlexBreeze HydroGo shines as an ultra-portable personal cooler with a useful misting feature, ideal for localized comfort during activities like patio grilling or park visits. Its ease of use and quiet operation are definite pluses. However, prospective users should be aware that its real-world cooling coverage and battery performance are less than the advertised claims, and the lack of oscillation, combined with a modest mist strength and frequent tank refills, temper its overall convenience. It's a solid choice if ultimate portability and personal misting are your top priorities for immediate relief, but less so if you need wide area cooling or extended, set-and-forget operation. Pros: - Ultra-portable and easy to carry - Modern, compact design - Comes fully assembled - Straightforward controls - Good quality plastic build - Corded or cordless operation - Evaporative misting feature - Multiple fan speed settings and BreezeBoost mode - Suitable for indoor and outdoor use - Quiet operation Cons: - No oscillation - Cooling coverage is less than advertised - Misting could be stronger and project further - Real-world runtime is much shorter than advertised 12 hours - Misting tank needs frequent refills ----- DETAILS ----- Design: Shark seems to have really focused on making the FlexBreeze HydroGo portable and easy to use. They call it "ultra-powerful" and "ultra-portable," and with an easy-carry handle and a weight of around 5 pounds, it’s definitely not a beast to lug around. I can easily move it from the kitchen counter to the back patio when I'm firing up the grill for a weekend cookout, or even pack it for family outings to one of our local Phoenix parks. Appearance-wise, it’s got a modern, sleek look. It’s a fairly small tabletop unit, roughly 8.65"D x 8.35"W x 11.47"H, so it won't hog a ton of space on the patio table or an end table. I appreciated that it came fully assembled. No fiddling with parts or lengthy instructions. The controls are straightforward, with buttons right on top for power, fan speed, and the misting function. You can also tilt it up and down by 45 degrees to direct the air where you need it. For the misting, there’s a fill port near the handle and a little cap on the fan face you pop open. Plus, a water level indicator on both sides is a nice touch. The build feels solid. It’s a good quality plastic that seems robust. They’ve even thought about watertight tabs over the reservoir opening and power input, which is smart for a device meant to be around water and used outdoors (a practical consideration when you are lounging by the pool). One thing to note: there’s no oscillation (it doesn’t swivel side-to-side on its own) and no remote or app control. So, if you want to change the airflow direction or settings, you’ll be doing it manually on the fan itself. For some, that might be a dealbreaker, but for a portable unit, it's often a trade-off for simplicity and durability. Features: This little fan is more than just a breeze machine. It's about versatile cooling. A key aspect is its ability to operate either corded for continuous power or untethered on its rechargeable battery, giving you fantastic freedom around the house or yard. Then there’s the evaporative misting feature, which for me, living in dry Phoenix, is the star of the show. It delivers a personal cooling mist indoors or out using "ultra-fine" droplets from an easy-to-fill integrated tank, with options for continuous or interval spray. This really elevates it beyond just a standard fan. To tailor the airflow, you get five distinct speed settings along with a BreezeBoost mode. Think of it as a turbo button for those moments you really need to cut through the heat. It’s all built for indoor/outdoor use and designed as ultra-durable and water-resistant. So, taking it out to the patio while I'm grilling or we're enjoying an evening outdoors, or even making sure our young daughter has a cooler spot during playtime in the yard, is well within its capabilities. The combination of corded/cordless operation and the indoor/outdoor misting really drills home that "go-anywhere cooling" vibe. Performance: Shark claims this fan is "ultra-powerful" for its size, supposedly providing cooling coverage up to 70 feet. I think that number is a bit optimistic. While you might faintly feel some air movement from that far, it’s hardly noticeable and not its ideal range. In my experience, 50 feet or less is more realistic to actually feel it, and under 30 feet is the sweet spot where it makes a noticeable difference. While 30 feet is much less than 70, I still find it pretty impressive for such a compact fan. The misting feature is designed to reduce temperatures by up to 5 degrees. I am mostly happy with its performance, finding that it works well and is indeed powerful for its size. The misting feature is the real standout, though. I just think the mist could be a tad stronger or project a little further. It’s a gentle spray that you’ll feel best when you’re 2-4 feet away. I like that it can be used indoors or outdoors, and it really does help the immediate area feel cooler, but only if you’re in its direct path. Noise-wise, it operates quietly, ranging from barely noticeable on low to a little louder than a whisper on BreezeBoost. The sound is a pleasant hum rather than an annoying whine, which is good news if you’re sensitive to noise or want to carry on a conversation without needing to raise your voice. The misting does make a distinct "pssst" sound, but it’s quiet, and that seems pretty standard for misters. The only performance hiccup, as mentioned, is the lack of oscillation. You’ll be manually aiming it or using that 45-degree tilt. So, if you're hoping for it to sweep across a wider area on its own, this isn't the fan for that. Battery Life: Shark advertises up to 12 hours of cordless runtime, which sounds amazing. However, real-world use paints a slightly different picture, as battery life really depends on the fan speed and whether you're using the misting function. For instance, I found it lasted around 4 hours on fan speed level 3, but that dropped to about 1.5 hours when using speed 5. The misting tank itself is said to last up to 30 minutes on continuous mist or 60 minutes on interval. In my testing, these times were a bit shorter, closer to 25 minutes for continuous and 55 for interval. So, if you're like me and really relying on that mist to beat the Phoenix dryness while grilling or relaxing outside, be prepared for fairly frequent refills, perhaps every half hour or so. ----- WHAT’S IN THE BOX ----- 1 x Shark FlexBreeze HydroGo Portable Fan 1 x Charger 1 x Quick Start Guide

The FlexBreeze HydroGo is a compact, simple, and quiet, but powerful, mobile fan with misting! Design The FlexBreeze HydroGo has a large, easy to grab, handle on top, three buttons on top, a flip-open cap on top to fill the water reservoir, and a flip-open cap in the middle of the front, for the misting. The top flip-open cap stays back after it's pushed back past a certain point, to keep it open while filling. The front-middle cap has a magnet to hold it open, so it doesn't fall closed on you if you move the fan the wrong way. There are windows on either side to show the water level. There are lights at the top-front of the fan that show if misting is on or the water is empty, fan speed, and battery life. The misting light stays on while you use it. The other lights go off after a short time. The base is very solid, functional, and stable. I like the way the two front rubber feet on the bottom of the base are held on with screws. I've had so many devices where the rubber feet come off over time. The fan can be angled up and down easily but will not move by itself, which is good. The power cord plugs in the back. The port for the power has a rubber cover that protects it from water when the cord isn't plugged in. There's a release for the base to remove it easily. I checked a bit but it doesn't look like there are other attachments available yet. I'm looking forward to seeing what they come out with. I'd love to see a large clamp to attach it to the end of a table, back of a chair, or maybe hang it from something above. Controls The three buttons are for Fan Speed, Power On/Off, and Mist. The Fan Speed button is a six way toggle with speeds 1 through 5, with a 6th, and most powerful, option of BreezeBoost. BreezeBoost will automatically turn off after 20 minutes. The Mist button toggles between off, mist (continuous mist), interval (pulsing, on/off, mist). One tank of water is enough for 30 minutes of misting and interval will last 60 minutes. Any time the fan (including misting) is turned off and back on, it starts with a speed of 1 and misting off. Fan and Mist This fan is quiet and powerful! I can have it low enough to be next to me, on my desk, aimed at my head, or I can turn it up for more power as needed. They say it reaches up to 70 feet. It sure feels strong, and I think it's very quiet. The Mist surprised me! I was expecting more of a stream, because that's how it looked to me in the pictures. As it turns out, I think the mist is very fine and spreads very well! I tried to get some good pictures but really couldn't. I was very happy with how the mist works from speed 1 to BreezeBoost! With low fan speeds you can hear the hiss of the mist when it's on, but it's not loud. Battery Life The battery is rated for 12 hours on speed 1, 4 hours on speed 3, and 1.5 hours on speed 5. There's a power indicator that's visible when you press a button to changing settings. It displays either green, yellow, red, or flashing red. Green is 70-100%, yellow is 30-69%. You will get red when it's under 30%, indicating you should charge. Flashing red is very low, at under 5%. You can use it while it's plugged in and it will charge while in use. The manual says it takes 3 hours to charge the battery if it's empty. I think I waited an hour or so to charge it the first time, when it was new. In actual use so far, and using different speeds, I would say the battery life is excellent! Summary I'm loving the FlexBeeze HydroGo Fan! I'm so glad to have it at the start of the summer! It's powerful, small, and very portable with misting and great battery life! The speed options are excellent, the misting works great, and it's easy to carry! It doesn't have a sleep timer, remote control, or oscillation so if you need those features, this is not for you. The only thing I think they could improve on a bit is that it's not always easy, at least for me, to see how much water is left, but that's being really picky. This is a very excellent, very portable fan!!!

HydroGo - Misting, Portability, and Performance

Living in Central Texas, there's nothing like sitting through a long hot summer with temperatures in the triple digits. When I came across the Shark FlexBreeze HydroGo Fan, the misting feature instantly caught my attention, along with the fact that I've had a lot of success with the Shark brand. After spending almost a week with this fan, I'll share my experience with you. *Design and Build* This fan has a clean, modern look that fits in well with any interior or exterior decor. Mine came in a black color, weighed in what felt to be around 5 pounds, and has a convenient handle that makes it easy to carry around. It's about 9 x 9 x 12 inches. It's fully assembled so all you have to do is take it out of the box and pull off a few stickers and you're ready for action. My fan had almost a full charge out of the box. I love the portability and the size of it, and although it's small and hard plastic, it feels sturdy. There's a water port with a rubber seal that allows the misting feature. The Fan can move vertically up and down about 45 degrees, but there's no horizontal movement. The controls are on top, intuitive, and easy to see. There's a power button, speed selector, and a mist button with an LED indicator. The battery indicator also lets you know when it's getting low. *Specs and Features* * 5 speeds plus a BreezeBoost * 2 Misting settings, Pulse & Continuous * Rechargeable battery (Takes a couple hours for a full charge), Can be used with or without the cord * Battery life ranges from 2 hours on max speed with misting to about 12 hours on low * Vertical Tilt * Reaches about 25 to 30 feet on highest fan setting * Quiet, even on high setting * Water tank is about 150mL, Mists for about 30 minutes to an hour without a refill * 2 Year warranty The misting function is perfect. It cools down without leaving the area wet. You will want to sit within a couple feet for an ideal effect. The fan is water resistant so it's okay if there's an occasional splash around it. *Performance* For the size of this fan it can move some air. On the max setting, you can feel the breeze across the room. On lower settings you will definitely want to sit a little closer, so it would be perfect for a desk or an end table while sitting on the couch or in a chair. The breezeboost is powerful, perfect for a hot afternoon. The battery performance was good. I could get about 4 to 5 hours on medium. On high with the mister, the battery lasted 2 hours at best, but depending on what you're doing, it might be all you need. If you have an electrical outlet nearby, it will keep going. I loved the misting function. It really cools you down with the sun out. Note: you will have to open the rubber cap for the mister to operate. I neglected to do so when I first turned it on and was a little clueless. The misting is indicated by a blue led that allows you to set it for continuous, pulsing, or off. *Pros* * Lightweight and easy to carry * Strong airflow * Misting really cools you down, and design is perfect * Fan is quiet * Runs on battery or electrical power * Great design, Sturdy *Suggestions/Needs Improvement* * No Oscillation * Battery life much shorter on max settings * Water tank could be bigger * No remote/app controls I would absolutely recommend the Shark FlexBreeze HydroGo fan. The design of the misting feature is perfect, and it cools without getting everything wet. It's got strong airflow, it's portable, and it's well designed. It's a great idea for the pool, the beach, or the grill. I love the fact that you can charge it and take it with you anywhere. Highly recommended!

Just in time for the summer. This portable fan is great. Its small enough to carry around its not heavy. The fan can be wireless meaning it can be charged and used without a cable. Depending on the users settings, the battery can last up to 12 hours on the lowest setting. It also comes with a water mist feature. You fill the unit with water and it shoots a cool mist. This has two settings, one intermediate mist and one constant mist. The fan can also be adjusted at an angle. The airflow range is up to 70 feet. The personal portable fan does not work with an app and does not have a remote control. The setup is easy right out the box. Comes with a charging cord and basic instructions. This is a personal fan so don't expect it to cool the room. It is efficient at cooling for personal use. This fan has five speeds and can be used indoors and outdoors. It has a big handle to help carry it anywhere. Overall I recommend this personal portable fan to anyone in the market looking for a fan to cool down this summer.

A Portable Breeze and A Superfine Mist

I got this fan with the idea of having a cooling outdoor mister, but it has quickly become my new best friend during the heat wave that has come through my area. The ability to take a strong wireless fan everywhere I go is such a blessing. I take it with me around the house while doing housework instead of turning on/off individual room fans, but it is primarily useful in my dining room and kitchen where I have no fan and the heat builds up. *Functionality* The fan has three buttons: power, speed, and mist. The buttons are so intuitive that I got the hang to them quickly, as did my kids. It comes with an electrical charging cord that also allows the fan to be used as a plug-in. The quality of the fan is robust as it is composed of thick plastic and feels well-made. *Fan Power* The fan has a total of 6 modes, 5 regular speeds, along with BreezeBoost. The lowest speed provides a fantastic quiet personal breeze, while the highest speed allows the fan to be placed several feet away to provide a strong cooling wind that is still relatively quiet compared to larger fans. BreezeBoost mode works great outside, outcompeting the elements to cool and carry the mist in the desired direction. *Mist* The mist feature provides a very fine mist that can be set to come out constantly or at intervals. I was initially worried about using the mist indoors because I did not want the humidity to wet the couches, but the drops are almost like aerosol, so they evaporate right away on warm days. My kids loved this feature, as did my birds. *Water Tank* The water tank is right on top by the buttons and holds 5.7oz of water. The fan easily fits into my kitchen sink for fill up and, since it is waterproof, there is no worry about getting some water splashed on the machine. My only wish is that it had a meter or window to let me know how much water is left. *Potability* The fan is incredibly lightweight at 4lbs and is ultraportable. The handle is well placed to take it and go as needed, and the pedestal feet allow it to be positioned just about anywhere. I even had it soundly stationed on my lawn chair’s armrest. *Pedestal* The pedestal allows it to be tilted to point up at a high angle or all the way down so it can be placed on a high shelf (where the kids can’t play with it and grab it) and manage to point down at my sofa perfectly. The pedestal also comes off easily with a button. There are apparently other tall bases that it can be attached to, but I have not had luck finding said base pedestals. *Outdoors* I had never really thought about using a fan outdoors prior to finding this one, as it seemed redundant, but this fan has really changed my outlook on that. It actually provides a notable difference on a hot day on the porch, and the mist is the cherry on top. It is relaxing and does not end up creating bothersome humidity or dampening our clothes and hair. Additionally, my mom has a shed out back where she does work-from home but is too far from outlets to cool it off, so she ends up sweating profusely when she has to spend time in there on warm days. She’s been borrowing it and is absolutely loving the portability, the mist function, and, above all, the ability to cool off. *Battery Life* The battery life is contingent on the setting being used. The fan last anywhere from 12 hours on the lowest fan speed to 45 mins on BreezeBoost mode with mist. Shark has a Q&A section in their website that can be found with the QR code they include in the box, and it has a plethora of information about runtime, car charging, volts/amps, outdoor durability, and much more. Conclusion All-in-all, this was something I never knew I needed but now believe everyone needs in their life. It is versatile, functional, powerful, and portable. I am honestly enjoying taking it around with me, misting my birds who hate baths, and love that I don’t have to worry about my mom baking in a sweltering shed. It gets a huge thumbs up from everyone in my family and I highly recommend it.

My New Go-To Companion in Heat of Summer

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

TLDR: A superior product compared to my 20V fan from Big Yellow. The only real negative is the lack of swappable batteries. PROS Decent battery life Fully self-contained misting system Quiet operation Up to 12hrs of run-time / 60 minutes of misting NEGATIVES No hot-swapable batteries Not as rugged as my current portable fan No USB-C charging & 12V adapter not included IMPRESSIONS This fan is yet another great product from Shark Ninja. I have a portable 20V fan from “Big Yellow” that I’ve had for several years. It has been reliable, and I love the fact that you can easily swap fresh 20V batteries when they run out. However, that fan is loud. It is tolerable on slower settings, but as the heat of summer increases, the need for increased fan speeds rises. More speed, more noise. The Shark Ninja is markedly quieter than my current jobsite, portable fan. Shark has done an excellent job of blade design with their new FlexBreeze. The FlexBreeze is far better at moving more air at less speed than my current fan. Even at the highest speeds, I would guess the FlexBreeze is about 2/3 as loud as my current portable fan. I didn’t bust out my SPL meter to verify, but it is a noticeable difference. Using the FlexBreeze is more enjoyable and less fatiguing than my “Big Yellow” fan especially at parties and events where noise levels do matter. Shark claims a run time of up to 12 hrs and a total misting time of up to 60 minutes. Those claims seem like the best case. I find that increasing speed and/or constant misting takes a bite out of battery life. I have yet to get a full 12 hours of battery life, averaging 6 – 8 hours. Not bad, but not all day either. Luckily, the FlexBreeze can still be used while charging so, not a deal breaker. While I try to use distilled water as much as possible in the FlexBreeze (it is not required, but something I like to keep mineral build up at bay and maximize machine life) I do find myself reaching for a readily available bottle of water to refill. As summer is really getting started here and temps have risen to the 90’s on several days running now, I found a great “hack” is to use an ice-cold bottle of water for the mister. Ice cold water being misted out on a hot day is amazingly refreshing and almost chilly. FINAL THOUGHTS The Shark FlexBreeze has replaced my current big name portable fan in every scenario, but the harshest of work environments where I don’t want to take it and have it get destroyed. The fan works great and is very quiet compared to my current one. Add in a fully self-contained mister and there isn’t really anything not to like about the FlexBreeze. Yes, I wish it had swappable batteries, but that is the only real thing I can knock it on. It’s already proven to be a valuable companion in the early days of summer. The FlexBreeze moves a lot of air very efficiently and throw in an ice-cold mist, it’s a combo that is hard to beat in the heat. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Living in the Midwest, summer can be flat-out miserable some days—especially when you’re carrying a few extra pounds. While it hasn’t gotten too hot yet this year, I can already tell this Shark HydroGo fan is going to be a real game-changer when it does. I’ve been testing it out in our home gym, replacing an old box fan with this misting fan, and I’ve been seriously impressed. It moves a good amount of air and the misting function is way better than I expected. I figured I’d have to sit right next to it to feel anything, but I’m easily getting relief from 10 feet away when I did try it outside, depending on the wind. It’s going to be perfect for our back patio —we put a lot of money into that space, and this should help us get more use out of it during those hotter months. The fan feels solid and sturdy, definitely built to handle the outdoors. Using it is super easy and filling the tank is no problem. The mist output is legit, not just a little sprinkle. My only real gripe is that there’s no easy way to drain the tank. You’ve got to run it dry, and if you’re not plugged in... well, good luck with that. Also, the charger is one of those old-school barrel plug types. In 2025, I don’t know why we’re not just using USB-C. Would be awesome if it could double as a power bank, too. Battery life is solid when you’re just using the fan. When you kick on the mist though, it does chew through the charge faster. Still, being able to use it without being tied to a cord is a big win. All in all, this is a really well-built, powerful little fan that’s already earned a spot in my summer lineup. It’s not perfect, but it’s close.

    Staying cool!

I train a lot of clients outside, and with summer coming up, some sessions can get really warm. While staying hydrated is a must, the HydroGo will be a nice addition for quick refreshment both in training and leisure. First great point, no pooling! The mist is just the right amount that it doesn't collect on the surface below or saturate the subject in front. Just the right amount of moisture from the start. It also sprays fairly far when fan is on high. Enough that several people can feel the mist. It's well-built and feels sturdy so I have no issues just tossing it in the truck to get going. The handle is convenient, and the weight is much less than I expected. You won't be taking it into the library, but it is sized where if you were going to the amusement park, it could easily fit in a pull wagon. The Boost Mode is pretty powerful for a battery powered fan, with enough airflow to really make a difference on the warmer days. We just had a bit of a heatwave, and having this ready to go helped keep the family cooled. The downsides? The water tank. While it fills easily and can be monitored, once there is about 1/4 water left, you can't use the upward angle of the fan. To get the last of the water out, you can only use it leveled, then at a downward angle. Luckily, it is very easy to fill, so keeping the mist going isn't a struggle. Honorable mention is the runtimes. There are lot of * when guaging battery runtime. "12 hours runtime" means speed 1 with no mist which would be on the level of a neck fan. Just note, usage will potentially vary from noted times with certain modes activated. Seems obvious, but expectations should be set. I will say that for the first few runs, I kept it at 5 with mist running for 30 minutes, and it stayed running for 1 hour and 45 minutes, which will be longer than my typical session. That's more than advertised, so I hope it stays that way. You can also use while charging, so if you're at the beach, you can plug it into a portable battery and keep the cool going!

When opening the box, there is only the fan, power supply and quick start guide. There is a QR code printed on quick start guide to download full manual. The overall impression is of a nice looking and quality appliance. For quick reference, there are basic instructions on the fan itself. The housing has a molded in handle which is comfortable, and makes carrying the fan easy. The fan can be tilted, and the entire base can be removed. There are switches on the top of the housing to set fan speed and misting function. Also LED's as indicators for fan, power, and battery. After charging, I tried the fan alone, and on low settings, it is whisper quiet. When setting to high speed, it moves a lot of air – and still fairly quiet. Then adding water for misting, I took outdoors and tested the cooling effect. It was 93.6 degrees and 10% relative humidity. The low humidity is ideal for evaporative cooling. I measured almost 16 degree drop in temperature, and did observe increase of humidity to 38% at about 10 to 12 inches in front of the fan. I ran the fan and misting on highest setting for 30 minutes, and the power level still showed green, so would think the stated 1 ½ hours on high level can be achieved. The fan would work well when misting as a personal outdoor cooler, or indoors if there is no air conditioning in the room. Also, keep in mind, the lower the relative humidity, the greater the cooling effect will be felt. But if used in conjunction with home or room air conditioning, there may be some cooling, but the resulting increase in air humidity can make for a “sticky” feeling. However, if using outdoors the slightest breeze will dissipate the effect of the fan quickly. I think the stated 70 foot effect is quite a stretch. All together though, for personal or small area cooling, this can be a nice addition for comfort. I would recommend.....

Overall this is a decent little fan. Good for a table top or counter, or even a nightstand or end table. Very portable for when you need it and has a small footprint. I like that it is lightweight and easy to carry around. I like that it has a small water reservoir you can fill up and use it for some misting action. Wouldn’t recommend this feature inside but outside on a nice sunny day it’s a game changer. The misting feature has 2 settings, constant on or intermittent. Using constant will burn through the water reservoir quicker, but it’s worth it. A great alternative to staying cooler on those warm summer days. This being portable, comes with a plug to charge but runs on battery for a few hours depending on fan speed. Inside the box was the fan unit, a charging plug, and instruction manual. Very straightforward. The fan itself also has instruction stickers attached to it (which are removable) that you can use to get started. I did not need to read the manual. Overall this is an excellent item. The only downside, and this was known from the start, is that the fan doesn’t rotate. It comes pre fixed on a 2 legged base. So it’s a 1 direction fan. Would be nice to get some rotation in here. But here’s the kicker, and why I took 1 star off. There is a sticker on the back of the fan base that indicates you can buy separately other bases to “suit your needs”. So I’m assuming you can buy a compatible rotating base, but it’s going to cost you extra. Kind of a sleazy move. They could have made the included base rotational if they really wanted to. Would not have cost alot extra.

The Shark FlexBreeze fan is very cool in many ways. I love the style and design of it. It is gray and black and feels like a permium appliance. The smooth textures and articulating stand are very nice. The handle makes it very easy to carry and setup where you want it. The wireless feature makes this fan portable and versatile. My biggest issue with the fan is the air coverage. When used in fan only mode (no water), you almost have to have this pointed directly at you. The coverage gets better the higher RPMs you give it, but on the first three strenght settings you have to be right in front of the fan. I had to have the fan on almost high when I was standing three or more feet away from it. When you add water, you get a whole different experience. The coverage gets better, but the air feels amazing. It emits the perfect amount of mist. The cooling that the fan provides with the mist is very refreshing. I want to almost exclusively use this with the water mist feature. The battery does last several hours, but it will vary based on the strenght of wind you choose. For me, it lasted about three or four hours on a higher setting, not max, with water. It should be enough to get you through any activity you have planned. It does use a dedicated charger, not a USB type charger. It does take a few hours to fully charge as well. Overall, I think the fan could have been better at air circulating on lower settings. The mist feature is what makes this fan worth the money. On a hot day, you will not be dissapointed.

The mist makes all the difference

This Shark fan is a nice companion to have on hot days outdoors. The lightweight battery powered fan is easy to fill and operate. It’s also handily transportable. The fan works by blowing air accompanied by a cooling mist. There are five available fan speeds along with optional cool mist output and a breezeboost (max fan) option for maximum cooling. The fan can be used with or without the integrated mister active. When active, the mister adds intermittent or continuous bursts of cool mist to the fan output. After using the mister, I drain the tank and leave the cap open for 24 hours to dry as instructed. I mainly use the fan on my deck when having a cigar and it is absolutely perfect for situations Ike that. It’s also handy for grilling and small get togethers. It’s not large or powerful enough to cool a large gathering, but is perfect for a single individual, a couple, or even a small table of people. Battery life depends on usage duration and fan speed. I’ve only used it for a couple hours at a time for grilling and sitting on the deck in the evenings. Water lasts about an hour with constant mist active. The fan tilts vertically up to 45 degrees and the base is swappable. The tilt is handy when the fan is positioned too high or low, allowing it to be aimed directly towards people. The base is swappable, but so far, the only base I’ve seen available for purchase is a replacement for the default base. I’m hopeful plans are for swappable base accessories that will allow greater flexibility for locations and scenarios where the fan can be used. Overall, the Shark Flexbreeze HydroGo fan is a handy and useful cooling accessory for hot days outdoors, or even warm, dry stuffy days indoors. The mister doesn’t make a mess and can be safely used indoors. Moisture only accumulates if I am very close to and directly in front of the mister. From a normal sitting position at least a couple feet away, it does not dampen anything in the mists path. The fan works best in line of sight and even slight breezes can divert the mist, but when you feel the breeze, it feels cool like an air conditioner. The weather hasn’t really warmed up enough to need it regularly but I’m happy to have it with the hottest days of summer still on the horizon.

I am a big fan of the new Shark FlexBreeze HydroGo Misting Portable Fan, pun intended! I suspect this will become one of my summertime accessories, especially as summer is kicking into high gear in California with 100+ degree days in the forecast. We just had an outdoor barbecue island installed in our backyard, and this fan will come in very handy, providing some much-needed cooling relief when grilling in the hot afternoon sun. Like all Shark products, the fan has a very solid build with lots of features. With a built-in rechargeable battery, you have complete freedom to position the fan just about anywhere. The misting feature is really what sets this fan apart from most fans, with the fan releasing a very fine cooling mist that definitely works, using the power of evaporative cooling. Of course, I would think this fan is best suited for more arid climates vs. humid climates. Controls are simple to operate with LED lights that indicate fan speeds and battery charge, and there’s even a 20-minute boost option. Charging is simple but with a proprietary plug. A small flap on the handle simply flips up to fill the fan with ordinary tap water. It holds just under 6oz. of water , so not quite a full cup. To prevent mold and smells, it is recommended to empty the water after each use. It is important to know if you are one who never reads directions, it’s a good idea to run the fan on mist briefly after emptying to clear our any residual water left in the misting mechanism. Battery life is not exceptional, but the fan can be run using the charging cable indefinitely. I managed to wear down the battery in a few hours, but that was on the highest fan setting. I don’t really see that as a problem in normal use. It’s the perfect size to take anywhere, and I can see myself using this fan on picnics, when working outside or grilling, or just enjoying a warm day on the patio with family and friends. It’s convenient and it just works, like so many Shark products I own.

The Shark - FlexBreeze HydroGo portable fan is here and it’s pretty neat. I didn’t really think I needed a portable fan until now. It’s late spring and summer is right around the corner. I like to hang out on my backyard patio to relax, I also like gardening and workout in my garage gym. Then I realized I can use the Shark FlexBreeze HydroGo fan for all of these things! Let’s start off with build quality & design. Like with all Shark products it looks well made and doesn’t feel cheap in my opinion. It is designed well and looks modern. I appreciate the easy carry handle on top which allows me to easily place the fan wherever I need it. Controls are very simple and intuitive that I didn’t even need to read the instructions, that’s how a product should feel. There’s a power button, fan speed button and a mist button. Fan speed increases with every push of the button 1-5 then goes into BreezeBoost mode after 5 for an extra boost. Shark claims the FlexBreeze has a battery life of 12 hours depending on fan speed settings of course but you can also you this while plugged in. The mist feature is a great addition as well for those hot and humid days where you need some extra comfort. Just pop the reservoir top open fill it up and lift up the misting nozzle and push the mist button and lay back and relax. I plan on using this on during our upcoming family beach trip. Overall pretty sweet personal portable fan I would recommend.

I picked this out for hot pool days and hot baseball games and unfortunately due to the weather haven’t had a chance to really get to use use it, however did want to submit a review from using it. When the fan arrived there is no assembly except putting the base on which is just a click and the sticker indicates it does have additional bases you can click it on to for additional purchase. The fan is very light and although handheld I’m not sure how they fit the battery technology in it because this thing really puts out some air at full blast. Although the fan came charged I followed the guide and charged it fully before use. The water tank for misting is easily accessible on top and again, haven’t used it due to weather, looks simple and easy. Just fill the water tank and open the dispenser on the front of the fan. The controls are very easy to use with a guide on the top to show you the functionality. I’ve run it at half speed in the house and appears that I’m just below 70% and it does give you a guide on battery life so you know where you’re at based on the color of the lights. Overall, I’m so excited for it to warm up so I can really utilize this amazing battery powered fan!

Works Great in my RV. Has been very helpful cooling my RV down in 100 degree weather. The water holding tank is not large and has to be refilled often, but i knew that when I got it. Doesn't make a lot of noise and has the fan blows hard on top setting, very quite on lowest settings. Happy with purchase.

So glad I got this. Perfect for outdoor cooling with the controllable mist. You have the ability to control the strength with 2 settings. Constant and intermittent. Its set up right out of the box, however you need to charge it fully as it is clearly stated once you start the set up. Completely plug free once it is charged up and can last up to 12 hours. The mist feature of course only lasts depending on what setting you have chosen. You can remove the base and it can be put on a sold separately pole stand. Battery charging lights are easily displayed across the top of the fan and we'll also show the level of battery remaining. Please make sure to take note. This unit is not fully waterproof so this cannot be used outside in the rain, but is perfect for regular indoor and outdoor use. The only thing that would make this fan perfect, would be an app to control the fan. If you're sitting away from it, for example, outside on a deck, or in a chair, getting sun. Even with the out the app, this is still an outstanding. Portable fan and wish I had found one of these sooner. I would highly recommend this unit for purchase. It has a good price point for all the features that it comes with. Well, it does not osciculate, you can control the pitch of the fan, which is then stationary. The refill door is water tight and easily flips up for refill, takes almost a 1/2 normal sized bottle of filtered or distilled water. Try not to use tap water if possible.

Shark is well known for any device related to airflow, be it a vacuum, wetvac, or fan, so this looks like another very cool (no pun intended, or maybe?) entry into that segment. To start: Packaging is straightforward, box, fan, power supply. It looks like it would have a remote but the black bar across the top is not an IR receiver, just a light indicator for power and such. Take it out, take off the tape and you're good to go. Setup: Once you take off the tape you can press the various buttons for fan speed and misting, it seems weirdly daunting when you get it out of the box but it's pretty straightforward, there's a flap on the front that covers the mist hole when it is not in use. Use: So... It's weirdly loud and not terribly powerful for it's size. I was expecting jet engine level speed and sound at the highest setting and unfortunately it doesnt come anywhere close. I understand that it is portable with a battery but you'd think even if not available during battery operation that plugged in would net you some more power. It does have an option cause "breezeboost" which runs for 20 mins on battery or longer when plugged in, but despite the fact that it does kick up the power a little, it's again not the jet engine I was hoping for. Speaking of jet engine power, as I mentioned, even at low speeds it's louder than I would imagine of a fan of this size. It's a neat fan, and outside use with the misting function would be fun, but there's also no continuous hose connection or anything, which yes, while that might not lend itself to portability, it still has to be plugged in to charge, so having that option for a stationary setting would be ideal. Overall: Feels like it missed the mark just a little bit, louder and less powerful than I expected, and no option for continuous water feed. It's still a good little fan, just needs some fine tuning.
