So glad I got this. Perfect for outdoor cooling with the controllable mist. You have the ability to control the strength with 2 settings. Constant and intermittent. Its set up right out of the box, however you need to charge it fully as it is clearly stated once you start the set up. Completely plug free once it is charged up and can last up to 12 hours. The mist feature of course only lasts depending on what setting you have chosen. You can remove the base and it can be put on a sold separately pole stand. Battery charging lights are easily displayed across the top of the fan and we'll also show the level of battery remaining. Please make sure to take note. This unit is not fully waterproof so this cannot be used outside in the rain, but is perfect for regular indoor and outdoor use. The only thing that would make this fan perfect, would be an app to control the fan. If you're sitting away from it, for example, outside on a deck, or in a chair, getting sun. Even with the out the app, this is still an outstanding. Portable fan and wish I had found one of these sooner. I would highly recommend this unit for purchase. It has a good price point for all the features that it comes with. Well, it does not osciculate, you can control the pitch of the fan, which is then stationary. The refill door is water tight and easily flips up for refill, takes almost a 1/2 normal sized bottle of filtered or distilled water. Try not to use tap water if possible.

Shark is well known for any device related to airflow, be it a vacuum, wetvac, or fan, so this looks like another very cool (no pun intended, or maybe?) entry into that segment. To start: Packaging is straightforward, box, fan, power supply. It looks like it would have a remote but the black bar across the top is not an IR receiver, just a light indicator for power and such. Take it out, take off the tape and you're good to go. Setup: Once you take off the tape you can press the various buttons for fan speed and misting, it seems weirdly daunting when you get it out of the box but it's pretty straightforward, there's a flap on the front that covers the mist hole when it is not in use. Use: So... It's weirdly loud and not terribly powerful for it's size. I was expecting jet engine level speed and sound at the highest setting and unfortunately it doesnt come anywhere close. I understand that it is portable with a battery but you'd think even if not available during battery operation that plugged in would net you some more power. It does have an option cause "breezeboost" which runs for 20 mins on battery or longer when plugged in, but despite the fact that it does kick up the power a little, it's again not the jet engine I was hoping for. Speaking of jet engine power, as I mentioned, even at low speeds it's louder than I would imagine of a fan of this size. It's a neat fan, and outside use with the misting function would be fun, but there's also no continuous hose connection or anything, which yes, while that might not lend itself to portability, it still has to be plugged in to charge, so having that option for a stationary setting would be ideal. Overall: Feels like it missed the mark just a little bit, louder and less powerful than I expected, and no option for continuous water feed. It's still a good little fan, just needs some fine tuning.

Great investment, I am impressed by the power this small fan generates. It cools down as stated. Very light, easy to transport and use wherever you need. Charge is dependent on your use and the power setting you use. I highly recommend it.

Im gonna try and keep this fairly short so first let me just tell you that this fan is amazing. When there is a heatwave and those regular fans no matter how much air they move, its still gonna be blowing the same hot air that is around it. When you put water in this and activate the misting function, it will cool you off no matter how hot the air around you is. That is the main reason we buy fans to cool off, and in that regard, this is one of the best if not "the" best indoor fan you can get. I do wish the water tank was bigger as well as a bigger battery but then that would make it heavier. Other than that is pefect. And its DC 12 volt being battery powered so it uses less than 30w at full power with mist. If you are considering this just buy it seriously you wont be disappointed. For me this is better than the expensive smart fans with a million more features that rotate etc because this cools you offer much better not even close competition. Buy this immediately and thank me later.

I love the portability of this fan. The battery definitely takes a hit at those higher speed levels. When out dry camping at night, it kicks out just the right amount of air circulation with not much noise. Very useful fan for many different adventures.

Great fan for being outside in 90F weather! Very refreshing with the misting and decent battery.

This fan is strong! It blows hard and is quiet as well. The misting on this fan makes me feel very cool when its 95f and up! You wont be disappointed!

I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it is and how strong the breeze is. One day after I bought it, we lost electricity for 3 hours and it was 100 degrees outside. I was able to place it on my table and use it since it can run without electricity. It truly was a life saver! It is the perfect size and well constructed. It is not flimsy at all.

This fan is excellent. Purchased it for my child's dorm room, it keeps them cool and it is very quiet to not bother the roommate. Highly recommend.

Fan works as advertised. Comes in clutch when our AC craps out. The higher settings really move air, but burn the battery fast. Really like the hydroboost, keeps me cool on hot days. Would highly recommend.

Excellent purchase! I have a hard time with the heat and I’m able to take this everywhere. The mister works wonderfully and can be adjusted to intermittent or constant or completely off. I’m very happy with this fan.

This fan is excellent for a portable cooling device. I use it at work and also when I’m in my garage or sitting on the deck. I found it charges pretty quickly and has lasted a long time off a single charge…excellent product
