I love Shark products. Although usually those products are vacuums and floor cleaners. But given my appreciation for the brand I was excited to try the FlexFusion. I love that it can do so many things all in one device. It gets to be such a pain having so many different items depending on what I want to do to my hair or frankly what my hair needs that day. However, all of those features in one item brings the downside of a fairly heavy Product. It’s hard to hold for long periods of time, and that’s my reason for the four stars here. The FlexFusion is massively powerful. First off, you can use it on wet/damp hair. This is super important for me because I have pretty thick hair and it can take a while for it to air dry. I tend to not like to blow dry my hair and then style it afterwards. This allows me to keep doing that, but I can work on my hair sooner without it having to fully dry. I tend to use this on damp hair versus completely wet hair. I’m still a little afraid of damage, although that’s my personal concern and not actually anything I’ve experienced with the product. It reminds me of the old I Love Lucy episode, it slices, dices, and rices. Except in this case, it actually works. It dries, straightens, and curls. I have naturally wavy hair that likes to poof out and sometimes has a mind of its own. I straighten my hair all the time to help tame it, but I like that with this, I can add some curl and body back in so that it doesn’t just lay flat. Of course I could do that before, but it took more than one device to do it. You do have to be careful, because yes, it gets very hot. It has to to work on wet hair. it’s important to not linger in anyone spot too long. Make multiple passes and allow the FlexFusion to do the work for you. It does what it says, and it does it well.

The Shark FlexFusion is best describes as a hair multi tool that combines styling and drying features in one device. Shark FlexFusion feels solid and not cheap which is always a good sign. The Shark FlexFusion weighs 1.5 pounds, iis intuitive to use, but it takes some time to get used to how to use the various attachments. My wife does not have dandruff issues so she did not really use or need the Scalp Shield mode. However if you are trying to be careful with your Scalp, the Scalp Shield Mode should protect the scalp while using the FlexFusion. The different attachments that come with the FlexFusion take time to get used to. They are easy to attach and remove. The brush should be used in hair that has already been detangled. If not, you might have a hard time running the brush through your hair. You will select between the dry or wet hair modes to ensure you don’t damage wet hair. The brush and hair curler were my wife’s favorite attachments and those two items allow her to style her hair in a variety of ways. The FlexFusion is an excellent all-in-one solution for those looking to streamline their hair care routine. The only drawback is that it can get very noisy when using. If you always blow dry your hair, this might not be an issue. But for those that don’t blow dry their hair every day, this will become an annoyance. At the end of the day, having a singular tool with multiple attachments to handle most of your hair style needs is excellent, especially when you are travelling.

This styling system has everything you could need, all in one tool. The hair dryer alone is small and powerful. However, once you add the tools it gets very heavy and bulky. It's also quite loud and high pitched. Adding and removing the attachments is very easy. The brush can be used on wet or dry hair, and gets rid of frizz. Sometimes my hair gets tangled in the brush so I have to use a regular brush before using the attachment and during. There is a notch at the end, that you can hold which doesn't get hot. The curling wands are a little more difficult to use. I have fine hair and they don't grab on to the barrel unless I hold it on there. Also, there is a left and right barrel so you have to change it when you do each side of your hair. Not very convenient to stop half way and change the tool. Overall, this is a great concept, but it's too long, heavy and bulky to be easy to use. Even the chord is heavy and bulky. I find myself using my old hair dryer and curler because they are faster.

The Shark - FlexFusion Air + Ceramic Styling & Drying System is a must-have for the women in your house, they will absolutely love it. From blowdrying to curling it does it all. There are also numerous other things they can do with it as well. So let's start this out with what's great, number one it comes with so many different attachments so, make sure you have a place to store them all so you're able to grab one and switch them out, which by the way is very easy to do. Once you have everything out of the box, you're ready to go. As previously stated there are so many different variations that you can do, you can either blow dry, you can curl, can straighten, you can brush it out. It is your choice. Every attachment is very easy to install and remove. The curling attachment works so amazing, that you won't believe that it's not an actual curling iron doing the work the curls can be tight or loose and bouncy. Overall this item is amazing and I highly recommend it to anyone who has long enough hair to style in any shape or fashion this is the gift for them.

My wife and daughter have completely different hair types: one has short, curly hair, while the other has long, straight hair. They both tried out the Shark Flex Fusion and were happy with the results. They mentioned how convenient it was to have various attachments that made styling their hair easy, even within a limited time. It is easy to switch out the attachments based on their styling needs. This is good because it cuts down on clutter, because there is no need for multiple styling tools when one tool can do it all. There is a switch that allows for both wet and dry hair modes, which helps protect the hair against heat damage. The hair dryer itself is lightweight and comfortable to hold. The only drawback they noticed was that the cord and plug was thick and bulky. While this didn’t affect its overall usage, it did make storage a bit less convenient. All in all my wife and daughter absolutely love the product and would highly recommend to anyone interested. It is one of the best hair styling products that they have ever used.

My wife and daughter had really high hopes for the Shark FlexFusion Air with ceramic styling and drying system as they had been looking at a similar product from a different manufacturer. After looking at the description, this seemed to be a good bet. However, their expectations weren’t fully met unfortunately. First, the ergonomics of this unit aren’t the greatest. It is heavy and awkward to use, the buttons are not intuitively placed, and it is extremely loud compared to other hair dryers in my experience. It is nice to have all of the attachments but instead of completely replacing other appliances, the FlexFusion just does an ok job on the things it is designed to do. The straightening plates don’t do as well as a regular straightening iron, the blow dryer isn’t powerful enough, the curling barrels make waves instead of curls, and the defrizzing tool is just meh. Both of my girls have pretty thick hair and they complained about the length of time this unit takes to actually dry their hair, so they have reverted to using their old dryers for that purpose. There is definitely a learning curve to the FlexFusion so perhaps with more time and practice they will come to enjoy it more. But after a couple of weeks, neither of them is convinced this will be their go-to hair styling tool. One other minor annoyance is that there are lots of tools and attachments included but there is no storage bag so packing it for a trip, or just keeping it in a drawer, causes some issues. Your mileage may vary here, but underwhelmed is the word of the day for this one.

I just got the new Shark FlexFusion Air + Ceramic Styling & Drying System for Wet or Dry Hair for my wife. I had her use the Shark FlexFusion hair dryer over several days.  She has long, frizzy hair that covers her shoulder blades.  She first used the FlexFusion's angle-shaped dryer to remove the excess water. Then, to straighten the hair, she used the Fusion Brush to dry the hair while adding volume.  She then used the Frizzfighter Finishing Tool. Her hair looked smooth and silky when she finished and had plenty of volume.  My wife's hair is also thin. She felt comfortable and confident using the FlexFusion's heat and air settings.  The FlexFusion's Scalp Shield mode automatically adjusted the temperature and protected her scalp and hair from heat damage.  My wife then used the FlexFusion curling barrels on her already-dried hair.  She used the curlers in one direction on each side of her head to achieve curls that swept away from her face.  She found it a little challenging to use the Shark's FlexFusion curlers.  She used the tool in low heat and airflow so the rest of her hair would not become messy. After holding it to style and dry her hair, my wife also found the SharkFusion Air+ a little heavy. Overall, the Shark FlexFusion versatility helped her achieve a straight and sleek look, and when she used the curlers, she achieved a voluminous, bouncy look. She usually takes about an hour to do her hair daily.  The Shark FlexFusion sharply reduced the time she spent drying and styling her hair to about twenty minutes. You twist the top so the blower is at a 90 degree angle and off you go. You can add the concentrator attachment for a stronger air force. However, the attachments included will take this beyond the basic hairdryer. Attaching the brush will help continue to gently dry your hair while adding volume and reducing frizz or flyaways. The air straightener attachment will smooth out your hair in a few passes but without the excessive heat of a typical hair straightener tool. That should reduce damage to your hair. Finally, the curlers will help give your hair some nice waves if you want to add another dimension to your hair that day. Overall, this is a great all in one tool to take you from wet hair to dry and styled hair without needing to plug and unplug multiple tools. It's gentle on the hair and works well! They practically use it daily due to versatility and convenience. For starter, the actual hair dryer is compact, standard angle blower to straight blower with the push of a button and a twist. It comes with auto wrap left and right curlers, the air automatically wraps your hair around the curlers. The wet or dry fusion brushes your hair wet or dry, which also has a section for straightening your hair. The frizzfighter finishing tool is used to touch up and control or tame your frizzy hair. It also comes with a styling concentrator, which is a more focused air flow for drying your hair. Overall, it does just about everything you need for hair care, except shampooing your hair. Straight hair, frizzy hair, curly hair, it takes care of it all. It gets a stamp of approval from the wife and daughter and as long as they are happy, I get to be happy :)

I got this as a Christmas gift. It was a little intimidating to me. Thinking there was going to be a learning curve. I was playing with it today, and it really is super easy to use. Right out of the box. The dryer is no joke. I thought how hot or fast could it be since it was the size of a fifty cent piece. It's amazing! I'll own this for a long time. When this one dies from overuse, I'll buy another. Nice, long, heavy duty, but not bulky cord. Easy to change attachments. No need to wait for them to cool down. Im sure after I watch a few videos, I'll learn all the tricks and how to get the most out of it. But definitely buy one, you will not be disappointed!

This is a really nice, high-end machine. It's very slim, and the blower part can either stay straight to the handle or bend line an usual hair dryer. This kit comes with the handle, brush, a set of left and right curlers, styling concentrator and the new ceramic finishing tool. As a stand-alone hair dryer is great because it's so small and having it stretched out it becomes very portable. The controls are all electronic with separate speed and temperature buttons with LED indicators, and a separate cold blast button. There is also an indicator LED that changes to different colors and shades to indicate the temperature. This comes in an aluminum metallic finish. The temperature delivery is consistent and despite the small size it's very powerful and also relatively quiet, due in part to its electronically controller motor and precise temperature controls. Attaching the brush, which is thoughtfully designed to prevent frizz by having guides on one of its sides, works very well but it's also awkward to use, at first, at least, because the whole thing becomes too long. It's much longer than a dedicated electric brush. The finishing tool is interesting because it provides a smooth ceramic curved surface that blows air in an angle so it provides some shine, like a gentler iron, and without frizz. The handle is set in an angle so it's more practical to use. Overall, it's an excellent, among the best hair dryers and the best we used, and it comes with a 2-year warranty from an American company. However the handling with some attachments can become impractical, as it becomes too long to use with ease. Besides the almost impractical length when using some of the attachments, the hair dryer itself is as good as it gets.

Wow! Shark FlexFusion Air is a game changer. My wife and I have been using this for a week and it's such a time saver. Blow drying is so efficient. It's smaller and quieter than a typical blow dryer but works much faster. The unit is light with a heavy duty cord that helps prohibit cord tangles. All the accessories are very useful but I really wished it came with an accessory holder. The hair curler has a bit of a learning curve but it is a huge time save because it curls and dries the hair at the same time. There are two different attachments depending on the side you are curling. It's safer because you don't have a hot curling iron warming up on the counter. This is just grab and style. The other attachments are really easy to use and fun to style with. It produces a lot of heat and air for a small package. The scalp saver cools the air down to not dry out your scalp or fry your hair. I would definitely recommend this. It's a time saver and a space saver. One unit with all the attachments eliminates the needs for multiple stylers.

I requested this product for my wife, who is a hairstylist by trade. I figured that she would be able to put this product through the proper tests, at home. Here is what she said about the Shark FlexFusion Air: I love the Shark FlexFusion! My favorite feature is the ability to style on dry hair to do a refresh and not dry out the hair with too much heat. This is a fast and easy way to look your best. The curling wands take some practice to master but it gives a great style with bountiful curls. The barrel brush can be used on wet hair to dry or on dry hair for a quick refresh. The other unique feature is the very powerful dryer that comes with scalp protection. It is also great for wavy or curly hair blowouts and leaves the hair healthy and shiny. I was not able to use the Frizzfighter finishing tool as the other products did an amazing job. I did have an issue with the fusion brush catching my extensions. Once I got the hang of it, I was able to work around this and the final results were great! Overall the quality and design is amazing and I would recommend this product.

The Shark Fusion Air drying system with scalp shield mode is an amazing hair drying system. You get everything you need to get that perfect finish and style for you hair. My daughter does competitive cheer and is ALWAYS doing her hair. At competitions, fast hair drying is a must and the Shark Fusion is amazing. My daughter has been using this to do her hair before practice and she loves it! All the attachments work great. The wet/dry fusion brush drys quickly and safely. My daughters favorite attachment is the auto wrap curlers. She loves the curl she gets with them! All the attachments work well but the main ones she’s been using are the curlers and fusion brush. Another really cool feature is the Fusion’s ability to rotate to a 90 degree angle to use as a traditional blow dryer. Very cool! The Shark Fusion Air drying system is a hit with the ladies in our household. It is a high quality product with lots of versatility. If you’re looking for a great hair drying system definitely pick this up!

One of my girls does some modeling and has a head of gorgeous, thick, blonde hair. Unfortunately curling and styling her hair is always a bit of a trudge so when I saw that Shark was offering the FlexFusion Air + Ceramic Styling & Drying System with Scalp Shield Mode I immediately picked one up. Shark's experience in "moving air" was surely a leg up on competitors and my experience with their other products gave me confidence in their product quality, functionality and support. Opening the box is like having a user's guide at your fingertips! There are full color photos and text illustrating the FlexFusion's setup and features. The product feel solid in your hands and offers a generous number of attachments. As with other Shark products there is evidence of some very clever engineering. For example the wand features a pivoting action that converts it a multi-speed, multi-temperature blow dryer with plenty of volume! The scalp shielding mode keeps the hot part of the iron away from the outside of the barrel so she can safely use it or lay it down and not worry about burning herself or someone else. However, the air intake is located where her hand wants to grasp the wand and so she ends up blocking the air flow! Being able to blow dry and curl simultaneously is definitely a time saver. So she can actually start styling her hair while it is still damp - a definite advantage. But, at the end of the day, the product fails in one very important way - her curls simply don't last as long as with a regular curling iron. In fact they start coming out within 30 minutes. She can counteract that with a bunch of hairspray but the fact is she doesn't need to do that if she uses a regular iron. So it's a bit of a mixed review - the blow dryer function works great but curling doesn't hold up. This may vary based on your texture and volume of your hair but keep this in mind when you're thinking of buying this product!

As my girls have gotten older and paid a lot more attention to doing their hair, they've been asking for more and more styling products. There are so many out there and while video reviews are helpful, everyone is different. So it's hard to compare when you're not testing yourself. Well, I bit on this Shark FlexFusion because I've seen so many previous Shark hair product reviews that say that they work as well as or better than more expensive sets. I'm glad that I did. My girls love it. They say that it's the best styling tool they've ever used. It's a very effective tool. If you're styling and can't get the look you want, you're wasting a lot of time. Not only are the styling and tools effective, but they're also easy to attach and detach. They said that it takes a little to get used to the controls, but they also called it "user friendly." It gets hot, but not too hot and does not feel damaging to the hair. The one wish that my older daughter had was a diffuser like she has on her blow dryer. But other than that, this is many styling tools in one. I would definitely recommend the Shark FlexFusion.
