Better and cheaper than Dyson and best part... wife loves it

Not worth the extra money. At the end of the day, its a hair dryer. Fancy, but accomplishes the same thing as one for 50 bucks.

Airflow is strong, drying time is quick, and heat feels well controlled. Even on higher settings, it avoids the overly hot sensation that can lead to damage or discomfort. The auto-wrap curlers work particularly well once you get the hang of them. The airflow pulls hair smoothly around the barrel, creating consistent curls with less effort than a traditional curling iron. Results are polished and natural-looking, especially for loose waves and everyday styles. The brushes add versatility, making it easy to smooth, add volume, or shape ends without juggling multiple tools. Build quality is solid, and is a situation of “you get what you pay for.” Doesn’t feel as “nice” but that’s understandable that shark had to make some sacrifices to keep the price lower. Still, attachments snap on securely and feel durable enough without being flims. Noise levels are noticeable but reasonable for a high-powered dryer. Where the FlexStyle, like all Shark products, really stands out is value. It offers a wide range of styling features that work solidly, at a price point that is cheaper than other brands. Overall, the Shark FlexStyle does everything it advertised itself to. One small wish would be a case or something to help keep all the attachments organized, but that would likely drive the cost up.

After owning a dyson airwrap I decided to try the shark flexstyle to see if it would be a better fit for my hair, since the airwrap left my hair frizzy. I used it twice and decided to return it since my hair would revert back to its frizzy state even when using great hair products aimed at controlling the frizz. Also compared to Dyson it was bulkier and heavier.

It makes my hair so weird , sort of stiff and dry looking . My $30 dryer makes my hair look better than this. It does dry fast , but for some reason my hair doesn’t like it

Stopped working after a handful of uses, blinks and does not power on. Customer support was supposed to send another but canceled without notice. So now stuck with a product that does not work.

I wanted to like this, but I have too much and too thick of hair for this product.

I was expecting more from this product for the price.

Wasn't for me as the blow dryer didn't have enough power to dry my hair in a timely manner.

I got this Shark FlexStyle Air Styling & Drying System to try out primarily to get back into curling my hair again. For years I relied on curling my hair with a straightener and it worked out well for me, but when I saw this hairdryer and curler combo I thought I'd give it a try. I love other my other Shark products so I had high hopes for this product and overall I was not disappointed! I have finer hair so it doesn't take a long to dry, but using this dryer I swear just makes my hair feel better. It's way less frizzy and the heat doesn't feel like it's nearly as damaging. It gave my hair more volume too. I like the options for heat and airflow, and the option for a cool shot. The dryer is so easy to use with the 90 degree pivot. I didn't feel myself waving my arms around as much to get my whole head dry. The brush attachment is easy to attach and use. I've never used an attachment like it before so it took me a few tries to use it properly and effectively. On to the curling, I love that there are left and right side curlers. That was always my biggest struggle when trying to do my hair. Using the curlers is a bit of a learning curve on my end. I haven't gotten the results I wanted yet. The curls don't look as curly as I'd like but or hold that well but I think it's user error more than the tool itself. It's fun to trial out. Overall I think this is a great product and a powerful styling tool with its multi capability for an easier time doing my hair!

Not for me. For reference I have thick hair. There isn’t much air coming out of the dryer. Therefore, your arms will get tired. As far as the curl hold, not very lasting. I get longer-lasting results from a regular curling iron. I’m my humble opinion, not worth the pricing. Will be returning this item .

This is difficult to manage and the curls definitely do not hold up through the day.

I am incredibly pleased with the Shark FlexStyle! This little device packs a huge punch and cuts down on my styling time. I can quickly style my hair in a fraction of the time now, and I love that this can replace several of my tools - freeing up storage space!
