This was bought and giving to someone at Christmas as a gift.

Not good of quality blow dryer was not strong enough

I have used this about 5 times. The curls do not last more that a few hours. For context I use a regular wand and the curls will last for days. Now on my 4th and 5th use the styler randomly shuts off. This last time I was using it on dry hair so it wasn’t because it was too hot. It was only on for about 3-4 minutes

Excitement immediately turned to disappointment. I bought this because I’m in the process of trying to figure out how to *diffuse* my hair and bring back curls. Was excited about the round brush and the curling wands. All things I can do just as well, if not better with my Revlon round brush. Returning and putting this toward something else!

It works really well and holds your curls well. Love it.

This hair tool set my smoke detector off, almost caught my house on fire, and was a cheap/bulky version of the Dyson Airwrap. Save your money and purchase the Dyson Airwrap it was much better quality. Dyson has better heat technology that puts shark to shame.

Do not buy this product. It stopped working completely after 10 mos of 1-2x a week use. I followed the instructions and cleaned the filter etc. To get my defective product replaced the brand made me pay for shipping.

I picked up the Shark Flexstyle air styler and dryer system for my wife who is hairdresser as she was looking for a prosumer level tool for use at home and travel. We have experience with many of Shark's products and they have mastered the art of moving air! We also admire their commitment to solid, quality solutions. The product comes securely packaged and offers a selection of attachments to get you started right out of the box. The product has a satisfying heft and feel in your hands. The barrel is a bit heavy which speaks to its quality construction but also proved a bit fatiguing to hold over time. My wife mentioned that she would have appreciated a textured surface where she grabbed the unit to give her the sense of a more secure grip. Shark products always feature clever engineering. For example the wand features a pivoting action that converts it a right angle, multi-speed, multi-temperature, blow dryer with plenty of volume! The controls are touch sensitive, convenient to reach and offer a good selection of heat and volume. The tips of the attachments are insulated so that you can use both hands to wrap your hair without the danger of burning yourself. As expected the blow dryer moves a significant amount of air given its size. The choice of multiple temperature settings, including a "cold shot" makes this a very flexible tool. Attaching the styling tools is easy and they too feature quality construction. The inclusion of both "right" and "left" curling attachments is intended to enhance switching sides as you work but ultimately she found it to be a bit of a gimmick as anyone who is used to a regular curling iron has probably mastered the task with a single barrel. The styling concentrator attachment was a bit problematic. The unit made it relatively easy to wrap her hair and held it securely during the drying/curling process but the resulting curls really didn't provide long-lasting results. In fact, sometimes the airflow will "blow-out" the curl as you unravel it! I suspect that your experience may vary based on the texture and volume of your hair but keep this in mind when you're thinking of buying this product! A final note in support of this tool is that Shark offers an array of addition attachments that may be purchased to add even more capabilities. Overall, the Shark FlexStyle is a well built product that I believe satisfied most of her needs and would earn a recommendation to her friends and customers.

Not made for thick hair. It can only do a very very small strand at a time and that was very frustrating.

I love it so far. The only drawback is my curls won’t stay all day.

Very disappointed. Machine was easy to use. Curled great but was gone in about 5 minutes. It was still wearble but as soon as i stepped outside complete frizz bomb! Dryer was awesome but not $300 awesome.

I tried to order this item, but the roadie driver said she could not locate my building, which is ridiculous when Amazon delivered hundreds of packages a day

I don’t understand all of the great reviews. The curls would not hold at all and the brush attachment don’t work any better than the Revlon on-step brush which is so much cheaper.

I have to say this is by far the best hair dryer or styling product I have ever owned! I have tried so many different products that claim to be easy or fun to use and they have always fallen short! This Shark FlexStyle™ Air Drying & Styling System is the best system I have had the pleasure of using. It is lightweight and easy to use. Swapping from a hairdryer to a styling tool is quick and easy. The tools you desire to use lock into place keeping them secure while using and there is a slider button to quickly unlock and change tools. The paddle brush and oval brush work fantastic to smooth out your hair and give it that salon look! I’m not going to lie I was skeptical about the auto-wrap curlers! I was convinced it was going to just tangle my hair, it didn’t and was absolutely so much fun! The auto-warp curlers are my favorite tool included in the box, this was first time in my life curling my hair without getting burned, which is huge! There are three fan speed and heat settings as well as a cool air button. The fan motor is surprisingly quiet for a hair dryer! I have never been able to use a hairdryer to store my daughters hair because she is so sensitive to sound, this one she enjoyed letting me do her hair and also LOVES the auto-wrap curlers. I can say, there isn’t really anything I don’t care for with the Shark FlexStyle™ Air Drying & Styling System. I have been enjoying using this product daily and am so thrilled with how my hair looks after using it!

Could not get curls to stay. Less than 5 minutes after I’d curl, they would fall out and it looked like I’d done nothing to my hair. I tried it a few different times, thinking it was just user error. Ended up just returning it.

It’s not worth the hype. For one, my curls stay all of 5 minutes. After that my hair looks like a rats nest for the rest of the day. For two, I’ve had it less then 2 weeks… and it’s already shut off and won’t turn back on…

Not user friendly, couldn’t figure it out even with a video.

Had it for like 4 months and it stopped working. Before buying this one i had the revelon one that still works and does a better job.

The hair dryer itself works really well. It’s a nice smaller size and easy to handle. It has a sleek design as well. The adjustment from blow dryer to curler is very smooth and easy. The curler itself takes some practice as I found the mechanics a bit strange at first but it gets easier with more practice. It’s not always so easy to get it to grab your hair properly. I was hoping the curling feature would be a little bit easier. I found it difficult to do the hair in the back of my head as it was a struggle to figure out how to hold it, in order for hair to get picked up. This could get easier with more practice. The curl works but does not seem to last long in my hair. It’s possible it could work better for denser or thicker hair. My hair is very straight and fine. However, I am hoping with a lot more practice, I’ll get better at it and the curls will last longer. So far I tried the curler twice and have received so-so results. The Oval brush attachment works well and is easy to use. It helps add volume to your hair, while being able to style your hair at the same time.

I return it because my wife didn't like it. Maybe for women that do not have a thick hair mat work perfect.
