Definitely not the best brush/blow dryer combo. Honestly my revlon does a better job.

Stopped working after literally ONE use. After doing some googling to see if others had the same problem.. I don’t know how this product is still sold. Countless reviews and feedback about how they eventually just stop turning on. Shark will replace it but you have to send them a video Of you cutting the wire before they’ll send a replacement. Seems like a hassle. I returned it, save the money for the Dyson

My shark has now shorted out and has over heated twice. It does the job but I would probably just save more money and go for the Dyson air wrap.

If you don't know about the trouble with styling Asian hair, I have two words: thick and straight. Before I go on about some minor issues, there are multiple great things about the Shark FlexStyle to write home about. First is the versatility of the styles you get from the attachment. No more lugging five different devices to get the different styles. You can easily change from a standard hair dryer to getting curls, waves, straightening, and adding volume to your hair. Out of the box, it was easy to figure out how to use the Flexstyle without even looking at the instructions. Though the styling guide that comes with it is a nice touch and definitely something I want to keep at hand for some tips and recommended settings. Like most people, drying my hair is my least favorite thing to do. And let's be honest, even with the Flexstyle, it is still my least favorite thing to do, but it allows me to finish much faster. And you can easily switch between the different attachments pretty easily. Just twist the styler upright from the 90-degree angle, and you're good to go. Of course, my favorite has to be the oval brush which gives my hair a little volume. With that said, the ones that were my least favorite were the auto-wrap curlers. Not because it wasn't functioning well; it did. But it wasn't for my hair. With Asian hair that's super straight and thick, it takes a lot for even a regular curling iron to get it to maintain its curls. So, in this case, it was an actual case of it's not you, it's me. At least this time, I'm not burning myself with a hot metal styler. One other note, the Flexstyle is a little louder than my hairdryer, partly due to all its power and air flowing from the narrow base. But, again, not a big issue compared to all the functions you get for half the cost of other competitors. Overall, for the cost and its multiple functionalities - it's a pretty great deal, and I would recommend it to anyone.

The hairdryer worked well. But the curls fell out after five minutes. It didn’t curl your hair the way it said it would.

not good all day with a puffy hair and I have fine hair and not work for me at all

Got it for a gift for my wife! Not thrilled about spending this much on hair tools, but my wife assures me it's worth it! She "watched the videos"

I personally felt that the wand i got from tj maxx for 30 bucks did better job then this with my curly hair I like the hair wrap wand but only one works with the hair after its completely straightened and wont last long few min after the effect is gone .. i wanted to love this so bad but unfortunately not for me

Definitely was not impressed with this. Returned it after a day. It tangled my hair trying to curl, and the curls I did get, lasted maybe an hour.

Curls don’t hold for very long & the round brush attachment is too big to get that perfect blow out. I definitely felt like this took way longer than a traditional curler/flat iron.

THE BREAKDOWN: The Shark FlexStyle is a great all-in-one styler/dryer that does not cause heat damage to your hair. Being able to just flip from styling to drying is a breeze and saves you time. What’s in the box: in the box you get the Shark FlexStyle Air Drying and Styling system, oval brush, paddle brush, 2 1.25’ Auto-wrap curlers, styling concentrator, Styling guide and safety/warranty information. To access the regular hair drying feature, you rotate the top-third of the barrel so that it goes at a right angle to the handle. While it can replace a lot of your hair tools it is a still a pretty bulky package. The main barrel is 11.5 inches long before you put on any attachments. The longest attachment is the Auto-Wrap curler which is 6 inches. The power cables seem thick and long around 8 feet. So, with all of this it still takes up a lot of room in a drawer but at least you don’t have to add a hair dryer to that as well. The barrel felt really comfortable in your hand and easy to handle. To use the attachments, you snap them in place on the barrel and they lock in. There is another switch on the back to release the attachment. The third switch is on the bottom which turns the unit on and off. There are also three buttons. One to control cool air, one the controls air flow and one that controls the temperature. My wife and teenage girls loved the performance of this device. They believed that it dried a good constant temperature consistently. Shark states that the device measures and regulates temperatures 1,00 times per second to ensure consistent air temperature. They did state the curlers were a little difficult to use at first, but they figured out how they like to use. They have used this to keep their hair straight and curly and it really did add volume. There is also 4 heat and 3 airflow settings. PRO’s: - Multi-tool - No heat damage - Easy to use and feels great in the hand even my teenager daughters found it easy to use CON’s: - No bag to carry all the parts in. SUMMARY: Overall, this product worked as intended, and I would recommend this to a friend if they were in the market for a device like this.

I had high hopes for the Shark but sadly they were crushed on the first use. I have a lot of hair so I let it air dry to about 85%. I wanted to try the different wands out so I started to dry it a bit more and within minutes the flexstyler made a loud popping noise and stopped working completely. So if you have thick hair or a lot of hair this tool isn’t for you.

Don’t buy this product. Stop working 3 months after using it, I only use it every 2 weeks , it stop working in the middle of my blow drying my hair, I called Shark company told them I have 2 years guaranty for part and services they still no doing anything. Really bad product. No worth it for how expensive this 400$ . No worth the value. Don’t buy it .

Do not buy!! I just hit my two year mark and it won’t stay on. I’ve heard of other people having the same issue. Not worth it.
