I will be honest. Before trying the Shark Glam out, I really didn't even use a hair dryer. I just let my hair dry. However, the Shark Glam has definitely led me down a rabbit hole into the world of stylers and dryers. The Shark Glam comes with a motor handle that functions as the base for all the attachments. It can also be bent and you can just use as a regular blowdryer. It comes with several attachments, namely the ceramic straightener, styler, styling concentrator, curlers, and Frizzfighter. I still have to look up the names to each attachment. So I have used straighteners before. The straightener attachment is just that. It uses heated ceramic plates. To be perfectly honest with you, it feels much more bulkier than dedicated straighteners but it's nice to have the attachment I suppose. The styler I feel is the reason most people buy these types of tools. It is the one that looks like the round brush. It uses a combination of the air and ceramic plates. My wife used it to actually dry her hair without causing frizz and she loved it. The curlers help curl your hair. I learned about the Coanda effect which essentially uses hair speed air that follows the curve to make your hair curve around the curler. The styling concentrator is just to direct the air in a specific spot. The Frizzfighter is also something that literally just gets rid of frizz. It uses both heat and the Coanda effect to kind of pull in the hair and then smooth it out. All in all, I was surprised by how versatile the Shark Glam was. It really can help dry your hair quickly without causing an unnecessary amount of heat damage and frizz buildup. My wife was ecstatic about it for sure. While I think the effects are most appreciated on long hair, it is definitely helpful for short hair as well. It definitely helped create more hair volume for me while keeping it clean.

The Shark air styling and hair dryer system is another great tool by Shark. It has 6 attachments for the dryer and really saves you time for drying and styling your hair. Different attachment work best for different types of hair or different styles. As with all of these sophisticated styling devices, there is a learning curve but this tool is very good. The one advantage of this device by Shark, is that there is a Wet Mode and a Dry Mode and I really like starting to style with the Wet Mode and you can easily switch these modes on.. There is a Cool Shot that also helps set the curl. The barrel on the curling wand can be switched. Once you get the hang of it, it is like the tool just takes over and makes your hair style beautiful. The hair dryer comes with detailed instructions for doing the rough drying, styling and then finish & touch up with Glosslock. I think this type of styling tool is also good for your hair and is designed to prevent damage. This would make a great gift for those looking for a unique gift!

I was really excited to try the Shark Glossi and it honestly surprised me in the best way. As a Black woman with textured hair, I am usually very protective over my curls and coils because a lot of hot tools claim to be safe but still leave me with dryness or that dull, stiff feeling. This one has been different. It gets my hair smooth, shiny, and bouncy without feeling like I am frying it. The airflow is strong but controlled, and it dries my hair quickly without making it frizzy or puffy. I can go from wash day to a full glossy blowout in way less time than I expected, and it never leaves my hair smelling burnt. My hair stays soft and still feels like my hair, just stretched, glossy, and really pretty. Even on my roots, it stays gentle but effective. I also like that I can get straight results without sacrificing volume, so it does not give that flat pressed look unless I want it. Overall it has been a great tool for textured hair and I feel comfortable using it regularly without worrying about heat damage.

This comes as a kit and was delivered in good condition from my local carrier. This box seemed a bit on the bigger side. Opening and unboxing was easy and everything was well protected inside. Inside are multiple tools to use on your hair. There is a blow dryer, hair straightener, detailer, brush dryer and curlers. All the parts connect to the dryer and the dryer has multiple seatings to use on dry hair or wet hair. The dryer works well and was easy to use. You can adjust the dryer ninety degrees and you can use some of the attachments in this configuration as well. I was pleased with the time it took to dry hair with this dryer so the first use was only the dryer and the brush. The brush was a little rough and uncomfortable to use but seemed to work well on wet hair. The straightener works well as well and the only issue here is the bulkiness of the tool and holding up for several minutes at a time while doing hair. I didn’t get a chance to use the detailed yet. The reason for four stars is because the curlers. For starters, it didn’t suck the hair around like it was supposed to. Secondary issue is two different curlers one for left and one for right. The curler didn’t produce good curls but the other items in the kits worked well. Best thing about this is the all in one. Make life a little easier so I recommend

​The ladies in my home really wanted to love this product. They thought the design is fantastic and fun, and the way the top twists to become a hairdryer is a cool feature or just keeping it straight feels like holding a lightsaber. The blowout brush attachment also did okay and does successfully dry your hair. But, that was where the positive ended. ​First, it is way too loud. For my wife, she said it's so abrasive that it gives me a headache, and I literally "cringe" at the thought of having to use it again. When I used the curling attachment, the wind was right by your ear, and just too loud. ​The biggest issue, however, is what it did to her hair. Product packaging says "no heat damage," but my wife and daughter cannot see how that's possible. After just one use, both of their hair was extremely damaged and felt like wheat or straw; ie riding with the top down, on a boat, etc. It was so dried out, frizzy, and static-y. The Shark Glam Blow Dryer seems to just whip your hair with hot, strong wind rather than gently drying it. Both of them only used the low or medium heat setting. ​The attachments are also a letdown. The straightener was a pain because the air blows in a way that it kept blowing my hair up while I was trying to straighten it down. The curler was loud, and the curler didn't stay. My wife couldn’t figure out how to get the defrizzer to work and tried using the tutorials from the QR Code, but it wanted to you to signup via email, in which she didn’t want another email newsletter just to be able to use the product. ​ Lastly, it's just clunky. The dryer felt heavy at the end of the 10 minutes it took to dry their hair. And the plug is a massive brick. Using it in the bathroom there wasn’t enough space for the cord to use the lower plug on the outlet, so it had to take up the whole outlet. This could be by design as it pulls 1500 Watts (12.5amps) and keeps you from having anything else plugged in. Of course if two bathrooms share the same circuit (which is common) or you are using another circuit like in a bedroom, which are typically only 15amps, anything else plugged into it that circuit has the possibility of tripping the breaker while running. They both wished there was sort of organizer or at the very least a bag for the attachments. Obviously the Shark Glam Hair Dryer is meant to replace needing other devices by having the attachment accessories, so I am sure it is assumed there is space enough to store the attachments in a drawer, etc But an included organizer would have been a nice touch. Overall, they felt the value just isn’t there. A mid-grade hair dryer gets the job done alongside a salon quality straightener. For reference both my wife and daughter have brunette hair color that is very shiny and thick. The wifey uses deposit only to cover gray and my daughter has not had any color in her hair for about 24 months.

Disclaimer - This is my very first Shark styling product. First Impression - I love the design of the dryer itself, as it is a great size for my hands and my fingers do not rest of the dryer or power buttons. I do like the attachments but the flat iron attachment is a little bigger than I am used to. The dryer itself is pretty good, the only con so far is the loudness of the dryer at full power. I will say that it did take a me couple tries to get used to the technology of each attachment (especially the button combination of the flat iron) but overall, it does straighten my 3B hair. I really like that there is a left side air wrap curler and a right side. It makes it so much easier, however, it does add an additional attachment. One of my daughter’s, she has 4a hair, she absolutely loves the round brush attachments. She uses a shower cap in the shower with her straight hair but somehow moisture still gets in. She now uses the round brush attachment and blows out the water and then turns the attachment to flip her hair or fluff her bangs. After getting used to the flat iron, she also uses this attachment often as well. Another pro for me is the buttons on the dryer. The included guide shows you how to operate and the buttons with the different attachments. I also like the scalp protector button as well. Instead of blowing cold air, the air is still warm and as it dries your roots. No worries about the attachments popping off or having to hold the dryer in a certain position because the attachments lock in. Also, the guide shows you where the safe “cool” spots are. Overall, I really love this product and I would purchase again and I would recommend for friends and family.

I have very thick, wavy hair, and this system handled it surprisingly well. One of the first things that stood out was how easy the attachments are to swap—they click in smoothly, the instructions have large, clear photos, and even a total beginner could figure it out right away. The dryer performs well and is compact enough for travel without feeling like a flimsy “mini” dryer. It has three heat settings, three speed settings, and a cold blast, plus a scalp-shield mode that sits between warm and cool. That setting in particular feels really pleasant and gentle, especially at the roots. The directional airflow attachment also works exactly as intended, and seems to shine most at the hotter settings. The dry-straightener is hands-down the best feature of the entire system—worth every penny. It glides without snagging, holds the hair lightly between the plates, and never feels like it’s pulling. Even the hottest setting isn’t too hot, but it works fast and very evenly. I’ve used plenty of mid-tier straighteners before, and nothing has come close to how smooth and effective this one is. For me, the finishing tool was the least useful part of the set. Because the curler, straightener, and styling brush already leave your hair sleek and polished, this attachment seems redundant. The curling attachments definitely have more of a learning curve, but the results are worth it. The airflow-based barrels feel much less damaging than a traditional metal curling iron. The key is timing: they work best when your hair is about 70% dry. I found it helpful to dry one side to 70% and the other to about 60%. Then start curling on the 70% side so the other doesn't get too dry before you get to it. Overall, this is a great hair-care product, and I highly recommend it.

There was definitely some issues with the curling side of things. With some trial and error, you might find that it can work via the right balance of moisture, heat, and airflow. This is not a plug-and-play curling system for everyone though, and if you’re expecting effortless, long-lasting curls in a single pass, this isn’t that. Ergonomics and daily usability are generally good, though not perfect. The handle and attachment system feel sturdy, but some of the styling heads are heavier than expected, which can lead to hand fatigue during longer sessions. The system can become unyielding as well once you attach some of the longer attachments on the main unit. You get used to it after a bit, but it’s a bit jarring at first. Also, one functional limitation is the lack of independent control between heat and airflow, which reduces fine-tuning flexibility and makes it harder to fully customize styling for different hair needs. From a value standpoint, this system makes the most sense for someone who actively uses multiple styling tools and wants to consolidate them into a single device, and the system feels like a decent value compared to other systems like it on the market. It delivers strong smoothing and blow-drying results, good straightening performance, and serviceable curling with the right technique. Its heavier attachments, long handle, and limited heat-airflow separation keep it from being perfect, but for users seeking convenience, flexibility, and a polished finish from one system, it stands as a capable and thoughtfully designed styling solution.

The Shark Glam Ceramic and Airstyling kit is a great all in one solution to get the fabulous look you've always wanted out of your hair accessories. You've got a lot of options here with a straightener, curler, and anti frizz. Also a very high powered hair dryer. The hairdryer does a really good job of getting everything nice and evenly dry but only real complaint is how loud it is. It almost is so loud it hurts my hearing to blow dry my hair on high, and animals are def not a fan of it. Overall it does a really good job, better than any other dryer I've had in the past. I normally don't curl my hair but this was a good chance to try and the results were great. My hair is the kind that doesn't hold a curl ever until now. It was ready to use within seconds of turning it on but as a left handed user I did find it difficult to use. Overall it did what it's supposed to and I had curls in my hair like never before. The straightener was very easy, ready to use within seconds. Worked wonders on my hair but it is fairly straight to begin with. I like that all of the products have safe points for touching so I don't accidentally burn myself. I found the starter guide to be quite helpful with how to properly use the products and how to hold them for safety and also where to touch and not touch. Overall everything in this kit really is top notch. Everything I expected from a brand name like Shark. I find myself spending time on my hair I never cared to before with the right product in hand, really makes a difference. Would recommend this to anyone looking to up their hair styling game.

I have and regularly use the Shark Flex Fusion, so I was excited to get this one with the Glossi attachment! A little about my hair - I have shoulder-length, stick straight, baby fine hair that struggles to hold much in the way of curl or style. As with the Flex Fusion, the Shark Glossi multi-tool is an excellent all-in-one appliance for those who like variety in their hairstyles without having to store all the different tools. Probably the two most common ways I use it is either the straight up hair dryer or the brush attachment. Both, combined with a little product, help create body and texture to my hair that last for hours. Most mornings I’m unfortunately too rushed to use the curling or straightening attachments, but when I want to mix it up, I head straight for the curling attachments. The new attachment for this multi-tool is the Glossi, which is supposed to help tame frizz and flyaways. That being said, I’m still trying to get a hang of how to use it efficiently, which leads me to my number one complaint about both the Flex Fusion and this Glossi multi-tool - there is very little in the way of information or instructions on how to use the different attachments, so if you aren’t savvy with this kind of tool, there might be a bit of a learning curve.

There is value in this, with all the hair tools it replaces and the technology incorporated into the ultimate hair care tool!

The Shark Glam styling tool combines 4 styling tools in one just by changing attachments. It claims to be capable of styling all hair types. My hair is fine and wavy and tends to hold a curl pretty well and I found this product to work very well while having a more pocket friendly price point than competitors. Shark clearly does their research when producing any product and it certainly shows with this one. My favorite attachments were the blow dryer, straightener and curling wands. Attachments are easily swapped out. The blow dryer is just as efficient as their full size dryer but is now one less tool you need to store under the cabinet. The straightener can be used on dry hair as well as damp because it blows air through vents to help dry as you go. I found this to be particularly helpful as I tend to miss some spots while I blow dry and sometimes leaves a wavy spot. The curling wands were simple to use after I watched a YouTube video. The wands curl your hair using air flow and heat and I found it to be even easier than a regular curling iron. The Shark Glam styling tool truly eliminates the need for multiple styling tools, so much so that I literally just gave my blow dryer and straightener away to my sister! Shark produces high-tech and reliable products and it stands true for this styling tool.

First off ... this system was well-packaged in its hard-cover box. All the attachments were securely placed in each of their locations with little wasted space. Overall, I really like this Shark system. All of the attachments were easy to connect/disconnect and they each worked very well. I like having the multiple sizes of auto-curling irons. Until recently, my hair was never long enough to effectively use a roller brush; now that it is longer, I found the Shark's roller brush very convenient. For me it took a bit of "practice" to get the automatic rolling to work correctly; again, I think it's because I haven't historically had longer hair where I would have used this attachment. Now that I have longer hair and these auto-rollers, I think I'll be using the attachments more than most of the attachments. The hair dryer works well; it has multiple temperature and airflow settings, along with a wet and dry hair setting. Good power and airflow. I like the overall weight of the appliance, but I'm glad I have shorter, thin hair because I think if I had longer hair and it was wet, my arm would start aching due to the potential weight. But on the flip side, it does show the sturdiness of the product. I like the system and looking forward to many years of use. Another high-quality Shark product that I'm happy to recommend!

The Shark - Glam Ceramic & Powerful Air Styling & Hair Dryer System, has so many attachments and offers a variety of styling options all in one unit. As a blow dryer, it quickly dries damp hair and is lightweight and versatile. The rotating shaft is a great design that makes it smaller for travel and storage. The brush attachment allows you to dry the hair while brushing which I found limited the amount of fly away hairs. It also gives a nice under curl at the bottom. The smoothing attachment really helps control the frizz and made my hair look sleek and shiny. I found the straightener feature to be a bit cumbersome and with the added weight and length it gave to the unit, it was a little harder for me to use on the back part of my head. I think the straightening plates are too short, but as an added attachment to the rest of the unit, I can see why they designed it like that. I will probably continue to use my stand-alone straightener at home but can see using this feature during travel. The curling iron rods are a nice feature, and they turn on their own, but again I think they might be just slightly too short. I have long, thick hair and getting my hair to hold the curl was tough. I do like having the option of two different sized rod attachments which eliminates the need for more curling irons. Overall, I like all the attachments and my naturally wavy hair straightened out nicely. It would be nice if it came with a carrying case or bag to hold the attachments. I fear they will fall to the bottom of my drawer, and I will have to hunt for them. If you are looking for a one-stop-shop to dry, straighten and/or curl your hair, the Shark - Glam Ceramic & Powerful Air Styling & Hair Dryer System might just be for you.

We have another Shark system that we were happy with so getting another when we needed it was an easy decision. We're happy that we got this one, too. The multiple attachments is great so you don't need many different products. We have limited space, so not having to have a blow dryer, a curler, a straightener, etc., is really helpful for us. The pieces attach and detach easily but stay on securely. Of note, this unit is heavier and a little bigger than if you had just a dedicated curler or straightener. It's not a deal breaker for us, but just know that you'll be working with something that might be heavier than you're used to. My daughters' really love that that there's a wet mode and dry mode. There's no waiting for hair to dry to a certain level or be completely dry to start, or the need to blow dry then try to straighten or curl. This is a great time saver. The thing missing from the last Shark system was a straightener, and that addition is a favorite on this new one. At first they did not like that there was a left and right curler, but now they do. It's a small thing, but a nice touch. I'd recommend this Shark Glam system to anyone.

The build quality of the components are excellent. Shark does have some helpfull recommendations that I utilized for best usage of this Glam System. The first thing I noticed, how powerful the dryer is. The barrel opening of the dryer is narrow, however, this helped providing a more concentraited direct air flow to reach the roots. A press and hold of the cool air button to protect the scalp is perfectly positioned for easy thumb access. The 3 heat and fan settings worked well. Rotation of the barrel was easy. So overall I was happy with the dryer itself. The brush attachment is two sided offering close to roots and full hair brushing designs. This also worked very well. Next I used the hair straightner and found it worked as expected with dry hair. Unfortunately with 30 percent wet hair (recommended percentage) it did not perform to expectation. even after several tries hair was limp at best so I completed with drying the hair and then using the starightner which again worked good with dry hair. I found the curling with left and right attachments was awkward to use and did not give the desired results. It seems that more heat was needed, but not delivered. The blower concentraitor nozzles appeared to work ok, but I still preferred a direct approach with no nozzles.

Great gift for my wife. She has been very happy with these accessories.
