Not Quite a Set-and-Forget Mopper
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall this robotic vacuum does a good job cleaning and mopping however it does require some additional monitoring and effort than the top of the line models. To do any mopping the mop pad and mopping solution have to be installed in the vacuum. The robot does not raise up the mopping pad so you have to create carpet zones that are skipped when you mop. While none of this is that difficult it does add a level of complexity to the set-and-forget operation that most people look for in a robot vacuum. Pros: - Simple to use App with mapping capabilities - Base station is bagless and has a large dust bin - Consistent mopping without leaving puddles - Rarely gets lost or stuck anywhere - Auto detects when mopping solution and pad are installed - Good battery life Cons: - Noisier than my other Shark robots - Mopping attachment and mopping solution have to be installed each time - Does not raise mopping pad when going over carpet - Robot holds about 12 oz of cleaning solution so large areas may require additional cleaning solution to be added manually during the session. Setup and Use: Shark robots are easy to setup using Shark’s app on your phone. Once you have the vacuum parked on its base and fully charged you send it out to map out the rooms. With that completed the app ask you to name the rooms and build out any areas that should be skipped or avoided. With the area fully documented and mapped out you can use the app to start your vacuum session or you can use the button on the robot itself. The robot uses back and forth row style cleaning and it does a good job of covering the entire area. To mop an area you have to remove the dust bin from the robot and add the included mopping pad and solution. Note that the robot holds about 12 oz of cleaning solution. I have found that it runs out of solution about the same time the battery needs to be recharged so if you are looking to do a very large area be prepared to have to refill the cleaning solution during the recharge period. App: The Shark Clean app is fairly easy to navigate and does a good job of showing the maps created by the robot. You can schedule cleaning sessions, choose where to clean as well as the intensity of the cleaning.

Intuitive machine with ability to block areas
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Okay this AI is simply awesome and easy for me to setup. No special solution for the mopping, you can just use water. Also, the blocking off of rooms or an area of room is fabulous. You can do this after shark runs for the first time and does a blueprint of your space. This was handy for me, so now Ai can run and avoid my dog dishes and her pee pads. This can all be done right from the phone app. I will say AI cup for dirt is rather small, however, no bother to me for she dumps and returns where she left off. My only problem is the bristle sweeper on the side mine got trashed on the first run when it reached the room with carpet(not high carpet, but medium). Furthermore, I have not neen able to find any replacement parts for this model. AI Had no problems with all the other rooms that were wood floors and ceramic with area rugs. Also, dont be alarmed when she starts up, sounds like a rocket ready for takeoff. I believe her suction is more than adequate for sucking up my hair, dog hair and other dirt it finds on the floor. I will also say I think AI's vacum pattern are more precise than mine and when it is finished I feel like my place has been thoroughly cleaned which makes me feel good. 4stars due to side bristel sweeper getting trashed on first run and not able to find a replacement.

Amazing suction and fantastic app!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Shark Matrix is without a doubt the best robot vacuum I’ve ever owned. I’ve gone through five or six robot vacuums over the years, and my previous favorite was also a Shark. One of the things that makes this vacuum so great is how easy the setup is through the app. Shark has done a fantastic job with their software, and it would be really hard to mess up the initial setup with how well they guide you through it. I’ve had other robot vacuums where setup turns into a headache, trying to pair the app, find a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band, and troubleshoot random connection issues. This one set up in minutes, and just like my last Shark, I had zero problems. There’s something remarkable about how maneuverable this vacuum is, because it really can get into tight spaces. I caught it behind my toilet the other day, and my first thought was, “Do I really want it going behind my toilet?” Then my second thought was, “Wow, I can’t believe it even found a way back there.” The mapping on this vacuum is also impressive. It completed a full home map in a single run, which is kind of wild. I’ve had robot vacuums in the past that needed five to ten runs before they could map a house correctly, and this one nailed it the first try. We’re in the middle of moving, so the floors have been covered in boxes, tools, and random clutter, and it still identified everything and worked around it. Once your home is mapped, you can label each room and send the vacuum to a specific area, or just run a full-house clean. The mop feature is fantastic for light mopping and does a solid job even on our tile floors. It doesn’t really get down into the grout since we have large tiles, but if you have LVP or smoother flooring, you’re probably going to love the mopping function. It takes about an hour and forty-five minutes to do a full clean of my downstairs, which is close to 2,000 square feet. Since we’re moving, it’s been really nice to head over to the new place at night and remote-start the vacuum so we’re not walking into dust and debris the next day. Overall, this is a remarkable robot vacuum, and the self-emptying debris base is a must in my opinion. I’ve owned models without that feature, and once you’ve had a self-emptying base, it’s a totally different experience. I also love that this base is bagless. Not having to keep up with buying replacement bags makes a big difference over time.

Full featured vacuum and mop that can handle most
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Matrix 2-in-1 is feature packed and a versatile helper to your chore list. The base is a bit large, but its ok because it lets you go longer between emptying. Depending how and where you want to install this, it may not be the model for you (if you plan on housing below a cabinet on legs, for example. The unit itself is fairly low profile, so depending on your furniture, it may make it under neat couches. Setup is very straight forward and easy to do through the app. the first time you run it, it'll work it's way through your house mapping out all the rooms and differentiating between floors and carpet. On first run, it was impressive and surprising how much it happened to pick up. Floors tend to be dirtier than the naked eye can notice. If you've got rooms that are less used than others, you may not want to take the time to have it drive around there, so its nice that you can block out areas to have it do exclusively or skip. robot vacuums are so great if you've got pets that shed. that being said, you likely won't make it the full 30 days before needing to empty the base bin. The sonic scrubbing to mop is surprisingly powerful and effective. once in a while you'll want to manually mop your floors but if you have this running periodically in between, it'll make the process easier and less effort. Overall, if you're someone that isn't a fan of floors as a chore, then you'll want this in your cleaning arsenal to lessen the load and make life more convenient.

Quality clean, saves me so time
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Quality clean that saves me so much time! The device was easy to setup, map (the house), and setup auto-clean (schedule) for each room. Our house has a few floor vents, so it was easy to setup no-go zones to avoid the vents. Cleans up our puppy's hair (winter shedding) with ease. I was very impressed. Fabulous purchase discounted $400 plus my $50 gift card!

I need an army of them.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an excellent product for its price point. On a whim, I purchased it to help with daily home maintenance on tile floors (see: two kids and two dogs), and I haven’t been disappointed yet. It mapped my home quickly, and I’ve set it to clean daily prior to the family waking up. It completes a fairly thorough clean on my tile floors in about 35 minutes, and has about 60% battery remaining thereafter. The floors are shining when I wake up (I change the pad NIGHTLY and only use distilled water). It has freed up A LOT of time to do other things during the morning; and the spot vacuuming and mopping is awesome for when messes are made. If you are realistic about this item (no, it won’t clean your 2000sqft bottom floor in 30 minutes with battery to spare), and keep up with maintenance (filters, cleaning, fresh mop pads, etc) it is an absolute GEM and time saver.

Robot Lover
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Robot is very easy to set up and get cleaning, it's much quieter than the old iRobot I had for years. This vacuum also comes with pad so it does two jobs vacuum and mop at the same time which is very effcient and much cleaner floor.

We love our Sharkira!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a 2800sq/ft two story home, this thing takes care of the downstairs fairly well. It's nice to have clean hardwood floors all the time! With 3 dogs, this is new. For reference the Shark map shows it is a 965sq/ft cleaning area. Oh, the trash bin needs to be emptied every other day and the mop solution does not auto refill. If this is something you want get the more expensive model.

Excellent Shark Matrix 2-in-1 Robot Vacuum & Mop
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using the Shark Matrix 2-in-1 for two weeks, and it’s been a massive help for daily floor maintenance. I ultimately chose to buy this at Best Buy because they give huge deals for robot vacuums since they have so many moving parts that can wear down over time. The vacuuming performance is excellent. The "Matrix Clean" mode makes multiple passes in a grid pattern, ensuring it doesn't miss spots on my rugs. As a pet owner, the self-cleaning brushroll is the standout feature—it handles clumps of fur without me needing to cut them off the roller every week. The bagless self-emptying base is another win; unlike other brands, there are no ongoing costs for replacement bags, and it easily holds about a month's worth of dust. The mopping feature uses "sonic" scrubbing, which is effective for daily footprints and light stains. However, you do have to manually swap the dustbin for the water reservoir to start mopping, and it won't automatically lift the mop over carpets. You’ll need to set up "no-go zones" in the app to keep your rugs dry.

Sharkira is a little beast!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing is a great addition to my cleaning routine. My floors have never looked so good. You have to have your floors picked up for this vacuum to work. The time I save vacuuming goes to picking up the floor. Then I sit back while Sharkira gets to work. The house mapping was really easy. The coolest feature I’ve found is you can order it to vacuum from your phone when you aren’t even at your house. Purchasing it for $250 instead of $600 was great. I don’t know if I would like it as much if I paid full price. It is able to get under all of my beds and couch. I’m allergic to dust so this is by far my favorite feature of this vacuum. Self emptying is my second favorite feature with the dock that charges the vacuum. The dock is fairly small and I was able to squeeze it in under my stand up computer desk. Overall I’m pretty happy with the way my home looks since I’ve purchased this machine. I have shoulder issues so this helps reduce stress and injury 100%!

Great value for money
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is a good cleaner. Great value. Only hassle is to having to change the mop manually still doable. I feel it would be great if it could store more than one map esp for multilevel homes.

Mostly meh
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. On the plus side, these are very quiet and do a great job of avoiding obstacles. On the minus side, their vacuuming power is very limited (like every other robo-vacuum) and if you don't have wi-fi they are a real pain to set up and worse to modify their service. Basically, if you have pets and want a clean carpet, you'll be vacuuming every day anyway. The only real difference is that vacuuming manually is slightly faster.

Good robot not too fancy
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It works good you have to get through some kinks of getting used to its features and how it works best for your home. Filling the water I don’t like to leave any in there when I’m not using it as a mop switching it back-and-forth is a little bit of a nuisance it’s not real smooth transition but it does the job since I don’t have it use the mop feature very often. I mostly got it because we had a dog, but then shortly after purchasing this, our dog got ill and is now not with us. So I honestly don’t have it vacuumed too often and it’s not on the schedule not even enough yet where I have to empty the bin but overall I’m happy with it. It’s performance. It seems to sense objects pretty good not 100% perfect but pretty good. It is a little loud when it does suck the vacuumed content out of the robot into the bin and the air blows pretty hard out the side of it I guess as you feel the warmth of the vent like but it’s filtered still just be aware of that.

Game changer for busy households — actually cleans
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve gone through a few robot vacuums over the years, and this is the first one that actually feels worth the money. The Shark Matrix 2-in-1 doesn’t just randomly bump around—it cleans in a structured, methodical way and noticeably picks up more dirt, especially along edges and high-traffic areas. The vacuuming power is impressive, but what really surprised me is the mopping feature. It’s not just dragging a damp cloth—it actually scrubs, and you can see the difference on hard floors. I have a mix of surfaces at home, and it transitions pretty smoothly. The app setup was straightforward, and I like being able to control specific rooms instead of cleaning the whole house every time. It’s also relatively quiet compared to others I’ve used. If I had to nitpick, it can occasionally miss a tight corner, but overall it saves me a ton of time and keeps the floors consistently clean without effort. Bottom line: If you’re busy and want something that actually maintains your floors (not just “helps”), this is a solid investment.

Gets the job done well
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this vacuum. It can be a little unorthodox on it’s route around the house but it always gets the job done well and the mopping is amazing. We have wood floors and it’s nice to have mopped floors every day. The map design in the app could be a little better because at first I didn’t let it in one of our rooms, and to later add the room you have to delete the map and remap the entire house. My only problem is if you don’t want it to mop, you have to pull the mop pad out, and it’s usually very wet and makes a mess.
