Since making this purchase in December, we have been happy with the performance of this vacuum. A great product for a lot less.

Good price for a known brand. Did research before purchasing. Decided to purchase here because of financing. Product's website/store offered good packages, but really only needed something basic. Best Buy does not offer filters in the store, so you will need to find them either through their website or other brick and mortar stores.

I needed a lighter weight upright vacum to clean my apartment. I do not have pets or a lot of foot traffic. I wanted a bagless vacum with washable filters. This product was fairly easy to assemble, although it did have one long screw to insert. That was a bit awkward for me because I do not have good hand strength. Also a drawback is that Best Buy does not carry the replacement filters for this product. The replacement filters need to ordered over the internet, which is something that I do not do. I did phone Shark directly, and they said I could order them over the phone with my credit card. This is ok, I guess, but they only ship to your street address, which also does not work out for me. I have a post office box. This I can solve/resolve, but just a bit of a hassle. Have not used the vacum enough to really review it well. Seems ok so far.

This vacuum cleaner does a better job than my Dyson. It deep cleans and it's lightweight! The negatives are: The cord is short so I have to keep switching plugs and when you wind the cord up when you want to put it away, the device you hang it on isn't wide enough and it falls off. Design flaw!

I have a lot of dirt tracked in and this vacuum works great at getting it up.
