    So far this machine seems to work very well. You blow out a candle and within seconds the air quality goes way down and the fan kicks up. Would recommend.

    First one’s sensor got stuck on 0% air quality for 3 days. Troubleshot with Shark support and they said the entire unit needed replacing, so Best Buy handled it. Overall it appears to filter the air well, but it is difficult to tell if the sensor is accurate. Most of the time it shows our air quality at 50-65% which doesn’t seem true, considering the unit is meant to cover 1400 square feet and our home is 1100. This also means the fan is constantly on high, and it’s considerably loud. However we have 3 cats and 2 dogs, so it’s POSSIBLE our air quality is actually that bad with all the dander. I may get a separate quality tester to compare.

    I think this is by far our best purchase this year. With a house full of pets we have had nearly every purifier out there. The shark never change is by far the best option. You can feel it moving air throughout the house.
