We have a Dyson V7 with a dying battery, so we decided to try this Shark Rocket (IX141) as a replacement since we have a Shark Rotator Professional (NV500) corded vacuum and love it. Unfortunately, the Shark Rocket is quite heavy and the handle is awkward. I compared lifting the Dyson straight out against lifting the Shark straight out, and it was noticeably more difficult. That weight difference was easily felt while using the Shark vacuum on both tile and carpeted area rugs. Between my wife and I, we have big and small hands, and neither one of us felt comfortable with the handle grip. We had to hold it awkwardly to get a decent grip, but that made vacuuming for more than five or so minutes a pain. The suction was quite good, though, and again we compared it to our Dyson. We did that by doing passes side by side on the same rugs, carpet, and tile areas. The Shark Rocket performed visually (by what was in collection bin) just as good as the Dyson. I would really only recommend if you cannot afford - or refuse to pay the higher prices of - the Dyson or LG cordless stick vacuums; we ended up going with the LG Cord Zero, and it has been great, and easily on par with Dyson... for less!

I love the sinplicity and suction of the device. Its cleaned up tremendously and better than my slim Dyson. Ive used this many more times over my Dyson V7 and ive thoroughly enjoyed it much more. Sadly, theres no dock to place the vacuum neatly overall great device!

With two house cats I tell you this Cordless Pet Stick Vacuum is a blessing. It has helped me to stay on top of the shedding. It is always ready to work for me, it is lightweight, and it does a super terrific job.

Easy to use, clean, and store. Battery lasts a good amount a time, has a trigger finger for extra suction for hard to reach areas or deep cleaning.

Love the Shark product. Have used a shark to years. Dependable, easy to use.

I am enjoying my cordless Shark Rocket. It is convenient and ready to clean up crumbs from the carpet and/or the tiled floor. It is good for a thorough cleaning. The hand-held vacuum is very handy for use on the carpeted stairs and in the car.

I'll start off by saying the battery does NOT last long. Howeverrrrr. If you live in a small two bedroom apartment like I do, it's no big deal. I just if it in everytime I'm done with it. Overall though, this thing is amazing for the cost! I am so glad I didn't she'll out the money for a Dyson yet. I have two cats and a six year old and thos get everything up off of the vinyl, the carpet, the furniture. Did amazing for my car. Very pleased.

Got this for my mom to help clean her house. She has arthritis so requirement was to be lightweight and battery power. (So she doesn’t have to constantly move up and down to plug it in and the weight on her hand. She loves it! Especially the LEDS and the lightweight design.

Very lightweight and maneuverable. 25 to 30 min battery life is fair for the size and weight.

This is one of two Shark stick vacuums I have, one kept upstairs and one down. I love them! Cordless is so convenient, and they clean very well.

I own a dyson. Snd while the dyson is better. For less thanhalf the price, this is 80 percent as good.

This product works perfect for me and my family. It cleans well and gets into small spaces easily. Its compact size makes it easy to store. I would recommend this product to any one looking for a vacuum.

I purchased this vacuum because I have 2 plug-in Shark vacuums that I love. Pros: Powerful Cons: Heavy to use. The light is not as powerful as my non-Shark battery operated vacuums. The product has to be disassembled to empty. The battery doesn't last as long as advertised. The on/off button is difficult to push. I'm disappointed I didn't notice it didn't have the non-tangle brushes at the bottom

Love my new Shark Vaccuum! Gets the job done quickly and quietly. It picks up all the dog hair on any surface and the different attachments are super simple to swap out to do work in any part of the house.

I love my new vacuum. It is so handy for quick clean ups on our laminate floors..it is light weight and easy for me to use. My only negative comments are the charging cord could be a little longer. I store the vacuum in a closet and run the cord under the door and keep it plugged in 24/7. The other comment I would have to say it doesn’t get things too close to the baseboard. I usually sweep around those area and then vacuum up the piles.
