Customers are saying

Customers regard the Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum with XL Dust Cup as easy to use, lightweight, and powerful, with impressive suction and good battery life. Many are happy with its overall performance and appreciate that it is cordless and has a low noise level. However, some customers have noted that it can struggle with deep carpet, and a few feel it is overpriced or that it should have the ability to stand upright on its own.

I got this vacuum with the lake house in mind. We have a very old vac with a short hose and very few outlets out there. When it was delivered I had to give it a try at home. Assembly consisted of snapping on the wand and adding an attachment, quick and easy as it can be. I vacuumed carpet in the den, which had been vacuumed yesterday, then the hardwood part of the floor and got a good deal of dust and dirt. I then emptied the canister which is easily done by detaching the wand and sliding a switch forward. Next I slid out the couch because the cats like to hide behind it. From the floor behind the couch and the back of the couch I collected about 1/3 of a container of cat hair which was not visible to me as I began. I attached the brush tool without the wand and cleaned under the couch cushions and then the crevice tool to get in the cracks. It's a little awkward using the attachments without the wand because of the way the collection tank hangs down but it works fine. I reattached the wand and the brush attachment and went after the A/C registers. It was great to be able to reach up near the ceiling with a lightweight cordless vac. I have used this in my truck, in the cabin and the bed which has a carpet-like bed liner. It did a great job and is much easier than getting out the wet/dry vac I usually use. The unit has two settings for different floor types plus a turbo switch for those times when you need a little extra. The unit is much quieter than other vacuums we have had. The carpet brush head swivels making it very maneuverable. This is extremely light weight making it easy to transport around the house. I have found this much more useful than I anticipated and will not be leaving it at the lake. I will either take it back and forth or get a second. It's just too handy to have around.

    The Shark Rocket cordless sucks....literally

I was in the market for a new cordless vacuum. My current vacuum works fine but it's a hassle to pull it out of the closet then unwind the cord and then look for an open outlet that my computer, printer, wireless router or some other electronic device didn't already occupy. It my sound like I'm a whiny person but this is one of the reasons I didn't vacuum much, hence me looking for a cordless vacuum. Originally, i was looking at another famous brand but the price was tooooooo expensive and took a chance on the Shark Rocket Vacuum cordless. I'm so happy I did, It changed my life. I went from vacuuming once every two week to my hair growing back, more self-confidence and jumping higher at my basketball league, I'm kidding but it really was more convenient for me to pull out the Shark Rocket out of the closet and start vacuuming and skipping the part where I had to unwind the electric cord then juggle my occupied power outlets. Yes, I know it might be a power hazard, all the more reason for me to have the Shark Rocket, right? Less of an electrical hazard. Two things I really want to pass on to the consumer reading this review: 1. this vacuum, despite it's small size and being battery powered is very strong in suction power. I was really surprised at all the dust and dirt my vacuum was able to get from my small apartment! 2. the battery lasted quite some time and use. I was able to vacuum my 670 sq. ft. apartment three times so far without charging and it's been 2 weeks!!! I'm really happy with this vacuum and I would highly recommend this vacuum to anyone looking for a cordless vacuum!

Not a fan. I have a long haired dog and it just seems to gather the hair with the brush and leave it on the the floor. I have to bend over and pick up clumps of hair multiple times when I vacuum my hardwood floors.

Good basic cordless vac. Works well and picks up dirt left behind by my old corded vacuum. Decent battery life and pretty lite weight. Works as a handheld vac too so good for cars etc. Not a lot of extras included, it comes with a crevice tool and a brush attachment. Motorized brush head with lights works well. Doesn't really have a removable battery like older sharks but might be replaceable, not sure. Other accessories available from shark. A little smaller than most corded vacuums which is good and bad. It lets you squeeze into smaller spaces but requires a little more work in larger areas. I like it and will likely use it a lot. The cordless feature and good cleaning make it preferable to my old corded vacuum.

This vacuum really surprised me with its power. I LOVE the fact that I separates into a portable, handheld vacuum. I used it for my new truck and was very impressed with how well it cleaned the floor mats with very little effort. When inside, I used the handheld option for my stairs and that was SO much easier than lugging my Dyson up and down the steps. When you attach the full vacuum, it’s so easy to go from our hardwood floors directly into our living room which has carpet. I find myself using the “max power” trigger more often when on carpet though. One final thing that I really liked with this vacuum was the fact it has a battery level indicator. I found that very handy. This is a great little vacuum and I highly suggest it.

This vacuum is awesome! light weight and lifts so much dirt and hair out of my carpet, I love the flexibility of being able to take the top off and use for the stairs and corners, oh and its cordless, NEED I SAY LESS. takes very little time to charge also, and no bulky wall charger!

Roller on vacuum did not work after charging all night before first try. Returned immediately which was about a month ago and still no refund. I’m sure it’s a great vacuum but the one I received was a lemon.

My teenage son has vacuumed his room 2 or 3 times in the last week or so that we’ve had it… need I say more? :) What I liked... -Easy assembly. -Was easily able to vacuum several rooms, seamlessly transitioning between carpet & hardwood, on a single charge. I'd estimate that I used it for at least 20-30 continuous minutes. -Has a setting for hardwood floors that drops the speed of the rotating brush, which means the vac will actually pick stuff up from a hardwood floor, rather than just flinging it elsewhere - nice touch. The setting is just a thumb switch near the handle, so it only takes a second to switch between carpet/hardwood. -Changing from one attachment to another is easy, with a simple push-button mechanism. -Nicely balanced, which was unexpected based on appearance. -Low profile that will allow you to easily vacuum under furniture. -Easy to empty the dirt cup. -It actually does a very good job at picking up everyday dirt. Didn’t like… -When connected to the floor sweeper, it will not stand upright on its own. You’ll have to lean it up against a wall. For this price, I’d think they could include a simple wall mount, including attachment storage, as long as it wasn’t something that you HAD to use. At least provide the option. -Walls of the dirt cup seem to attract a layer of dirt/dust, which makes it a little difficult to easily tell how full it is. Overall, it’s a nice vacuum, albeit a bit on the pricey side. As long as durability (particularly the battery life) doesn’t become an issue, and I can get a few years out of it, it'll be worth the price.

    A Solid Versatile Cordless Vacuum

The Shark Rocket Cordless Stick Vacuum - IX141 is a great cordless stick vacuum. The power floor attachment was powerful and switching from it to the hand-held mini-vac mode was quick and easy. It has an added turbo mode that was easy to engage and provided impressive suction. This was helpful because, when using the hand-held mode with a wand, the normal suction seemed a bit weak. The versatility and simplicity are a big plus, as is the easy-to-dump canister. All-in-all, this is a solid product.
