This vacuum has been really good for all floor types and heavy duty clean up. Super light wieght and the roller has fins instead of a brush. We have two cats, my daughter and i, with long thick hair and so far this vaccum has held up fairly well. Have been using for about two years now and just recently my hair has been getting stuck and ripped the fins a little. Still works great and its convenient to use for my house and small jobs.

I bought this vacuum for my roommate as a secondary vacuum to tidied up the house. We have two dogs and it does a great job sucking up all the dog hair on our area rug and runners around the house. We could actually use this exclusively for cleaning up our apartment if we wanted to. Battey lasts around 20-30 minutes, wish it was a bit long lasting, but I understand it's limitations. I really wish it had some kind of hanger system so it could just mount to the wall. Other than that, great investment. No need for an over priced Dyson, this is just as good.

Lightweight, easy to put together, charge and use. It's a pleasure to whip it out to clean up crumbs. Reasonably priced.

Great lightweight cordless vacuum! While the battery doesn’t last long, it’s gives me enough time and power to clean my small place. After I’m done I just remove the head and leave it charging until I use it the next day. According to the manual it automatically stops charging when the battery is full so I don’t have to worry about it. I have two cats at home and it works great to pull out the hair from my short carpet

We have been using the vacuum for awhile now. No complaints. Charge last for about 45 min. on the turbo boost mode. With 4 cats in the house, i use it every day. Its amazing how much hair and dirt it picks up. I still use the full size shark once a week. But the vacuum broom is so much easier due to being cordless and lightweight. Couldn't be happier with my purchase.

I love the vacuum overall. It's quiet, light enough (although just a little top-heavy, but that's expectable with the battery), and does a good job of cleaning my laminate and carpeted floors. The battery lets me vacuum my approximately 660-square-foot apartment on one charge. If you're using it for a bigger place, consider getting an extra battery or two. My one mild complaint is that the dirt container is rather small (0.1 US gallon, if I remember right). For small messes, that's just fine. But if you're using the vacuum for a whole house, you'll need to empty multiple times, especially if you have pets. Also, having a way to connect the extra tools to the column would be great.

Great at dust and hair, roller does not get clogged. The small wheel on each side does get stuck hair. User has to periodically work out hair from the crack between the wheel and roller. Lightweight and I can easily get it under furniture

My Shark does not stand on its own. It will fall over with the weight of the top. I pop off the top and sit it next to the vacuum. To pop off is not hard at all.. but I really wish that it could just stand on its own. Power is good, picks up larger pieces easy on carpet but with smaller items its better to use your regular vacuum. Picks up great on hard floor. I bought this because of the price point compared to the dyson. Unlike the great competition between the dyson and shark in a regular vacuum, this is no comparison. The dyson wins. If you would rather save the money, its not terrible but not a dyson.

My wife wanted a new cordless vacuum, she compared all of the other vacuums and decided she wanted another shark. We still have our old Shark Navigator corded vacuum - it has served us well over the last 7 years. We also have a Samsung PowerBot that cleans during the evenings - so we just needed something for spot cleaning. We have been using this vacuum for a couple of months now and the following are our observations: Pros: - Great suction - Extensions are the perfect length for us - Self cleaning pet brush is a huge plus as we have dogs that shed - it's cordless - Easy disassembly - Powered roller attachment - Removable/replaceable battery Cons: - Battery life is short (hardwood setting while using the spot clean attachment and without squeezing boost trigger is about 25 minutes / with squeezing is about 10 minutes | using the power head seems about the same +/- a few minutes) - Pet brush will clog - Opening for debris in collection chamber isn't large enough or right shape - will clog - *** No wall mounted storage adapter is included or available on shark's website*** - Unit will fall over if leaned against wall, counter, chair or table when powered roller is being used. - Must remove extension and powered roller for charging or it takes up too much space and gets knocked over or falls over. - Charger port on battery is a barrel connection on the battery (would rather see a wall mount plate that holds the unit with contacts to charge the battery with out plug)

We needed a new vacuum, our old Hoover was just too loud. This one did not disappoint! We have a Corgi that sheds like crazy, and this vacuum picks it all up. Great suction, pretty quiet compared to most other brands, and easy to recharge and/or put away due to it's slender design.

I've only used this vacuum two times, but love how powerful and easy it is to use. Fills up fast if doing a big job (dust bunnies, pet hair, ...), but super easy to empty. The best part is that the stick bends/folds (like a flamingo's leg) so you don't have to end over to vacuum under furniture. The pro model is well worth the extra monty.

Bought it as a gift for my mother-in law and she loves it. It has good sucking power which was something i was concerned about. She is now able to clean the house much faster without having to do multiple passing. This vacumm picks up everything, even the cat food. Definitely recommend.

I use this daily and it is so easy to use and has great functionality. Best used for places with limited to no carpet although there is a carpet setting. Vacuum is light weight, easy to dump and charge and gets all the animal hair!

fantastic hand held cordless vacuum. Easy to use, easy maneuverability, long battery life. Only "complaint" would be that there is no wall mounting bracket included with this model so it must be stored in a location that will permit it to stand on its own.

It's my first time owning a wireless vacuum and what can I say it's awesome! Finally something that is light weight, wireless and most importantly tangle free from long hairs. I'm very happy and would recommend to everyone.

This item functions like a full-sized vacuum unlike the Dyson handheld it replaced. I love that the roller self cleans and the charge is far more than adequate. It is very easy to empty and the accessories are easily attached and quite useful.

So much lighter than a regular vacuum. And we have a large home, almost 3000 sq feet and we can vacuum the whole house before it needs recharging.

Lightweight. Great for managing dog hair on a tile floor. Decent battery run time. Easy to clean. It would not and is not designed to take the place of an electric sweeper for a lot of carpeting.

Does a great job. Light weight and easy use. Battery life could be a little better.
