For basic carpet and hardwood dirt, this does the job. The attachments are easy to use and make cleaning a lot easier.

This is the best vacuum that I’ve ever owned! I would recommend this to a friend. It picks up dirt and stores away easy. Very easy to use and has cool headlights for seeing in dark places.

I have a dog and birds with a good amount of traffic through the downstairs part of my home. That creates a challenge for cleaning with having the right tools that can clean multiple surfaces as I also have a combination of rugs, hardwood floors, tile floors, and carpet. This machine is simple, easy to use, works great for my floors and keeping on top of my pets. Out of the box, it's pretty much ready to go once you have fully charged the battery. Charging didn't seem to take long and even after running it down it seems like it only takes a couple of hours to fully charge. Testing it out first, I ran it to clean up after the birds and it cleaned up the areas near them on the hardwood floors with ease, grabbing everything on the floor. For the rugs and carpets it cleaned those with ease and did as good as my corded Shark vacuum, I was very impressed! The battery lasted for all the cleaning I did downstairs, allowed me to do the stairs and even the carpets upstairs. The amount of time you have on the battery is very impressive and I never did run it all the way down so it works perfectly for keeping up downstairs as I need without the fuss of cords. The roller does what they say and doesn't seem to get tangled up with hair and yet still picks up dirt, dust and debris with ease. The LED's are a super welcome and nice touch where not even my other Shark stick has that. Emptying is a breeze and like with almost all bagless vacuums I've had hair can get caught up when you empty it so a gentle shake may be needed to get it out. Outside of that, it's easy and clean to empty. It's light but it is top-heavy and cannot stand on its own so, care needs to be taken to ensure it's not leaned somewhere that it can fall. I did have mine fall and it didn't affect it at all. It does seem durable but I could have just been lucky that it didn't hit hard in the wrong way too so your mileage may vary based on how well it's taken care of. Having a detachable battery is great, but I do wish it had the option to mount on the wall so I could keep the vac, battery, all of its accessories and everything together while it's charging as opposed to taking up space on a counter or shelf to charge. Overall, for keeping up with my pets this vacuum is great and I'd recommend it even overlooking how you store it while it charges.

Lightweight. Easy to use. Doesn’t clog up with hair. Love that it’s cordless. Doesn’t do a superior job on carpet, but all in all, pretty cool. Very pleased.

The Shark Rocket Cordless Pet Pro packs a lot of power in a small package. It is easy to put together and easy to operate. Just snap together the sweeper head, wand and motor, charge the Lithium Ion battery, and you are good to go. Two attachments allow you to use the vacuum as a handheld—a crevice tool and a pet hair brush tool. The Shark vacuum has a built-in, rechargeable battery that is designed to operate for forty minutes. This is twice the battery life of my older Shark cordless vac. I had no problem doing my normal cleanups on a single charge, though cleaning the whole house might test the battery. I tried the vacuum on hard floors an on carpets, and it cleaned both well. Be sure to set the switch to match your floor type. The carpet setting is quite noisy on hard floors. The power boost switch allows greater suction for short bursts of time. The dust bin is small and compact, and easy to empty. The LED light is handy, pointing out tufts of dog hairs in the corners of my tiled floors. The pet hair brush, used with the vacuum motor only, picks up pet hair and crumbs from upholstery. The pet hair brush and crevice tools are handy for vacuuming a car interior, but they are stiff (no flexible hose). I have yet to find a vacuum that effectively vacuums pet hair or fibers from auto carpeting; that is a strange surface. My rating: 4 to 4.5 stars.

So disappointed in this vac. It doesn’t even have a pet brush for the small hand held portion which is extremely long and bulky. The suction is almost non existent. It does have a light. If I had kept the box I would have returned and purchased the Dyson.

This vacuum is convenient for small clean up when it is charged. The suction is not that great and I was a little disappointed. I am going to use this in my camper instead of everyday house use. I don’t think it was worth the money.

Not my favorite vac. I previously had a Dyson V7 stick vac for years. The suction of the Shark is not even close. I have to clean out the roller every time I use it. I plan to give it to one of my kids and buy myself something better.

In my house I have two dogs, area rugs, hard wood, stairs and carpet. For the past week I been testing the Shark Rocket IZ16H pet Pro stick Vac on all of it. In the package you will find a the main vacuum, tube, motorized head with tangle free roller, two crevice tools and the charger. There are a few things I like about this vacuum and a few that I am disappointed by. I'll start by talking about what I like. The vacuum is definitely good looking and has a good long lasting battery. When using it the rugs or carpet it cleaned good and glided very easily. It did a also did a good job on the wood floors and it easily cleaned pet hair. Also, the Tangle free roller is awesome. When it came to hair, there wasn't a single hair tangled in the brush.  Now I will talk about my disappointments. This vacuum doesn't come with a dock or anywhere to store the two crevice tools. Instead, the motorized roller has a locked position that is used to prop it up however, it does a horrible job at it.  Overall. I think this is a good vacuum that looks good cleans well but leaves you with storage issues.
