I’ve been using the Shark PowerDetect for a few weeks, and it’s made cleaning a lot easier. It automatically adjusts power based on the surface and how dirty things are, so I don’t have to keep changing settings. It works great on both carpets and hard floors, picking up dust and pet hair without any issues. It’s also lightweight, easy to maneuver, and simple to empty. Battery life has been solid for my whole apartment, and overall it just feels really well designed. I’d definitely recommend it if you want something efficient and easy to use.

Love my brand new vacuum. I used to not like to vacuum at all but now I actually look forward to it. The color changing indicator from dark purple to white is extremely helpful in knowing that your floors are actually clean. Went from an old school vacuum to this one and it’s worth every penny. The auto empty is a major plus as well.

I returned my new Dyson V15 and picked this one up instead—and I actually like it a lot more. With the Dyson, I constantly had to switch between the carpet and hardwood floor attachments, which got annoying fast. This vacuum has plenty of power and the auto-dump feature is a game changer. I even sold my Rainbow and Kirby vacuums. I was just over dealing with power cords. I did have to buy an extra battery to cover my entire house, but if you have a smaller home, one battery should be enough.

Easy to use for small jobs. Doesn't have the power needed for big jobs.

I love this vacuum. I have had multiple vaccums and what i love about this one is the auto emptying feature, no more mess cleaning it out! The led light is great as well as it helps you to see all those small dust bunnies. Great buy! Only thing that i could do without but it is not a deal breaker is the fact that it will frequently switch from high mode to normal when it senses more dirt. Which is a great thing but it switches so fast and frequent that it could be a bother to some since it is an auto thing. Maybe you can switch it, but i have not tried that.

[Employee of bestbuy] We were looking at the Dyson V15 and after researching realized this Shark vacuum seems to have more than enough power and we went with it and enjoy the self-cleaning feature as well as having a well-designed stand to keep the vacuum out of the way but ready to go.

I use this along with my Dyson V15. The main reason this is great over the Dyson V15 in everyday use, is that you don't have to switch the heads. Dyson requires a different head for the carpet vs the hard floors. With the Shark, it handles both automatically. I will say that the build quality is not up to the Dyson V15. Not that it's cheap, it's just that Dyson V15 feels for substantial. The Shark does a great job with picking up everything from the carpet. I like to check to see if I use the Dyson V15 (with the carpet head) just after using the Shark to see if the Dyson V15 can pick up something the Shark missed. Nope. The Shark got it all. Overall, it's a solid vacuum, just don't expect it to feel as solid as a Dyson V15. But then again it's much cheaper.

Amazing cordless vacuum! The charging stand and auto empty function make this the best and easiest to use! The suction is the best I have seen in a cordless vacuum as well! Definitely worth the price!

Its the best vaccum ever!!! It gets into ever crevice I need it to and the battery life is amazing. The auto empty system is a bonus as well, I cannot recommend it enough!
