Love this vacuum. I've had a Kirby, a Hoover whole house vacuum and still use an Oreck. This doesn't have the suction of the above but is so easy to use I find myself vacuuming 2 or 3 times more often than normal, often several times in one week. It's light, maneuverable and the lights are fantastic. Having it hang in the laundry room on the wall is a huge plus. The only really unexpected complaint is that it doesn't have a switch to keep it from locking in the upright position. I have a very narrow laundry room and the cat litter box is kept there. Every time I turn the vacuum it locks in the upright position and it's awkward to release the head. It also pulls litter and dirt backwards on hardwood and linoleum, it only picks up going forwards.

A little heavy at the handle but does the job! ...

I was not to impressed with the functionality of the vacuum. Brush could be better to pick up smaller rubbish. Okay, if you are using for small room such as kitchen, stairway, bathrooms. Not efficient for larger rooms such as living room.

I was a little skeptical to get a shark since I've owned a kirby the last 4 years. I wish I knew then what I know now...the shark deluxe pro picked up dirt in places I didn't know I had. I vacuumed with it right after using my kirby and boy was I in shock. All these years my floor was never getting cleaned. Now I don't have any worries. I'll never buy another brand again. The swivel makes it easy to get in places you normally wouldn't reach without moving furniture. The fact it's much lighter than what I'm used to just makes me want to vacuum all day. 5 stars!

I reeturned the vacuum as it was top heavy and I had a problem pushing it . It didn't stand on it's own so I had to hold it up all the time. I just couldn't handle it.

Vacuum is good but awkward. Top heavy and doesn't balance well unless holding the handle.

I bought for my temporary apartment. Works fine. It works fine for me.
