The Shark Rocket Professional NV480, is a powerful vacuum, hang on to the handle because it is self propelled and will take off. I love all the features that comes with this vacuum, and also I picked it over the Dyson.

This by far has the most power of any vacuum I've purchased in a long time. Very light and easy to maneuver

its easy light weight. its very easy to get into places and underneath for cleaning hard to reach area's.

Powerful light vacuum - Great design and appearance. This is my second Shark. The first was April 2013. A Shark was a Rotator Professional, and I loved it, but in 2015, the wires from the head to the body broke apart and I was past the warranty. I hope the Rocket lasts longer. The only thing that I think could have been better would be a bare floor attachment, or to have the head adjust to a closer lever to the floor, and to have made the wand hose extend longer. Other than that, I am very happy with the purchase and the customer service that I received. The sales associate was great and honored the price match ad of a competitor.

Great vacuum and very easy to use/carry over stairs. This vacuum is also great for houses with pet hair as it removes them very easily from furniture, draperies, and carpets. Best vacuum I have ever bought!

This was my first time purchasing a Shark product, and I must say, it's an Excellent purchase!! Pet Hair is big issue in this household, the attachment keeps all fabrics and tile in great condition.

This vacuum is impressive. It is quite powerful. We are very happy with it's suction and ease of use.

We first tried Dyson but felt like just a regular vacuum. We did not notice any difference between Dyson and our Shark Vacuum. I noticed that Shark does not produce that smell when vacuuming. The big difference between the Dyson and Shark is the price. Dyson cost so much more. Shark perform much better than the Dyson in my opinion. I mentioned it to my co-worker, and he also bought a Shark vacuum because of his pets.

For such a lightweight vacuum this thing is a beast! Great power all around, excellent tool airflow

Shark vacuum cleaner works great I never thought I had that much dust left over from my old vacuum system.

I am reasonably pleased with this vacuum. It vacuums pretty well but overall I am a bit disappointed. It feels heavier & more cumbersome than the stated weight. It does not go under furniture low to the ground. When you detach the hose to do corners quickly the hose it very short so you lug the vacuum as close to you as possible. You cannot (as far I can tell) keep all the attachments on the actual vacuum which is a pain when you want a particular one! The suction is not as strong as expected. Reason I did not return it? Exhausted with trying to find a great vacuum for under $600! Upside: it is bagless.

Considered purchasing a Dyson but they just cost too much. Saw a commercial for the Shark Rocket Pro and started to do research. Read reviews, downloaded the manual and watched the demo videos. The only problem with the information I found was a in the How To video section at http://www.sharkclean.com/shark-rocket-nls-vacuum/shark-rocket-nv480/videos. The "How To Clean Hair Around the Brushroll" shows that you can remove the bottom but this is not true. Still easy to remove hair but the video is wrong. This also prevents the changing of the belt but according to support it is supposed to last the lifetime of the vacuum. It has a 5 year warranty.

From the time I walked into the store till I checked out, I received super customer service. I bought the Shark for my wife and she loves it. Will recommend this item and store to friends.

This vacuum fits my needs well. It's light, maneuverable, pretty powerful and reasonably priced. Great for a smaller house or apartment.
