This vacuum has great suction! My husband really loves it too!

There are a few differing opinions about vacuums these days. The bottom line is: the life of the machine is directly related to the price. Unless you want to spend upwards of $1,000 you're only going to get a unit that lasts 5 - 7 years. Having said all that: this unit is amazing. Its got good power, is easily maneuvered around corners and comes apart into useful smaller units. The wand extends out far enough to reach all the corners under my cathedral ceilings. It gets hot and is primarily made of plastic so it is a good idea to not do the entire house at the same time. Be smart and the unit should make it to the expected end of its natural life.

I have owned 3 different models of the Shark vacuums. This one is my favorite. The only complaint is some parts are made of weak plastic. One of the hinges broke on the top of the dirt canister so I brought it back under warranty. The new one I got feels like it's glued shut in that spot and I can't open it to empty it. Other than that, I have had great luck with this model vacuum.

Shark just keeps making their vacuum better and better. This is our third model over the years and can't believe how they just keep improving and already great product. Thanks Best Buy for carrying this product.

This has great suction, but is top heavy so when you try to maneuver it wants to tip over and run into things. If you have hip or back issues be careful.

I was looking for a vaccum to replace my previous one which is a Dyson. This was perfect and a lot lighter in weight and very easy to use.

This is one of the easiest vacuums to use. It is lightweight and the ability to remove the canister from the wand lets you reach just about everywhere. This is our second Shark and we love both of them for pet hair pickup!

Love this vacuum. Gave it to my daughter and bought a new one. Would not consider anything different. The light on the wand is awesome. The settings located on the handle are convenient. It is easy to empty and maintain.

2nd Shark in the last 3 years. This one sucks very well, and I like the detachable bin, but the cable is only 25 ft instead of 30 ft. And you have to unwind the power cable before you can use the extension tube.

Love the way works better than my Dyson. I am a Best Buy customer.

This vacuum comes with every tool you can imagine. It has super strong suction. I like the fact it can covert from a upright vacuum and be put on the included cart so you can vacuum deep underneath your bed and sofas

Reliable, powerful yet not too heavy, and very effective at cleaning floors and carpets.

This is a decent vacuum and does a good job with dust and dog hair. The light is a nice feature but overall the design itself is a bit cumbersome and takes getting used to.

Got this on sale for $200. It is very powerful, easy to assemble and empty. Canister might be a little heavy for some.

This is probably the most powerful vacuum I’ve ever bought. Had a Shark NV501 for a few years, which still had great suction, but the chassis was almost worn out. Used this vacuum the first time and filled up the dust cup after vacuuming two medium sized bedrooms. The brush is so strong that you’re pretty much vacuuming and raking your carpet in one move. This thing is fantastic! Only shortfall is that the brush and suction are so powerful that it’s tough to vacuum small rugs.

If you have to sweep your carpeting go with a Shark Rotator Powered lift Away. Does an excellent job, easy to use.
