Works wonderful and the controls are on the handle making use easy. The light on the end of the extension rod helps seeing in corners. I love how well it picks dirt from my flooring and carpets. The best vacuum I've owned.

Hands down best vacuum for the price. More suck for the buck and I'm happy to say that this vacuum sucks big time. Three power selection possibilities - carpet for most uses, hard floor with the brush not spinning (3 thumbs up) and then third option is for throw rugs or unsecured carpet which in the past has been gobbled up quick then came that burnt rubber smell which often burned the belt out. A+++ design. The Lify Away is flawless and light to tote around. The lite drawback is the hose is shorter than it could of been but mot a game stopper. Other feature is power button on the handle by your hand! My other Shark had it by the canister so when it started to eat my throw rug or dogs tail it took longer to throw the anchor out. Has nice lighting on the brush roll unit and on the handle to see better those three drive options. Putting it together tool all of 4 mins literally. Power cord is ample 25 feet. Definitely recommend this suck-er ...

I Love my Shark Vacuum. It has strong suction and it has attachments that will allow you to complete any job around the house that requires a vacuum. You can use it on carpet or a bare floor. The lift away feature makes it easy to move around. It is easy to vacuum under furniture because of the flexibility of the wand.

I have been very pleased with this SHARK lift-away deluxe vacuum. This model comes with a variety of attachments that I need for all areas of my home. The pet brush is wonderful for removing shedding fur from my long hair chihuahua . I also really like the hard floor attachment, as I have hardwood floors for a large area of my first floor in my home. The vacuum is able to reach under furniture very easily and the headlight is amazing. This is one of my favorite features. The suction power is very strong, and I am always amazed at how much is lifted from my carpeted floors. The unit is easy to operate and empty. The controls are easy to use and the steering is easy to drive. The vacuum moves effortlessly on the floor. I like the feel of the handle and the ability to use the wand as an option. This is a very nice product and one that I am very happy to have in my home.

After reading reviews I knew that this was the vacuum we needed. It has great suction and our carpets have never been cleaner. It is easy to use and switch from one attachment to the next. My only complaint is there are not enough spots to store the extra attachments and the vacuum itself feels heavy when using, but it moves easily. Love the attachment for the sofa to pick up all the cat hair. We needed that.

I LOVE this Shark vacuum!!! I have had two vacuums since I moved into my house three years ago, and as a single mom of a very active six year old, "STUFF" gets left, and EVERYWHERE. My vacuums were constantly clogging. It was ridiculous. This is an amazing machine. It has never clogged and I can go straight from carpet to kitchen floor ... Just flip the switch! It's fantastic! I HIGHLY recommend it!! (Pine needles after Christmas... GONE!! Popcorn all over the place... GONE!!) It's fantastic!!

This vacuum has changed my life. I previously had a competors product and now that I have a Shark there is no comparrison. The suction is a lot stronger and the versitility of the lift away is amazing. I no longer think of vacuuming as a choir. It is much easier to clean up with this vacuum verses any of the competors products.

I have had a Kirby (a couple) over the years and the Shark is lighter, easy to use and nice suction. Gets carpets clean and fresh. Great vacuum for the price. Nice and easy to use attachments. High value.

I have two retrievers so I frequently vacuum. I also have a variety of floor types - hardwood floors and carpets of various knaps. It works well for each and the hardwood genie is great. I ran my old vacuum first and then the Shark and was surprised by the amount of dirt and hair it picked up. The versatility of the vacuum allows for easy cleaning in almost every situation.

I bought this vacuum after reviewing other vacuums, and so far I'm happy with it. It really picks up a lot of dirt, dust, etc. from my carpet. It's lightweight and easy to maneuver.

Our old vacuum finally died after 10 years, so I started shopping around for a new one. Originally, I had planned on buying a Dyson because, well, it's a Dyson, expensive and weird looking. Once I started reading reviews though, I began to see that the Shark lift always had better reviews, as well as being a couple of hundred dollars cheaper. I figured that I would give it a shot. Wow, am I glad that I did. The Shark vacuum cleans the carpets very well. Plus, the ability to lift the canister off the base makes vacuuming our stairs a breeze. I am very satisfied with this vacuum and happy that I did not waste my money on a more expensive brand.

The Shark is everything it is advertised to be and more. The versatility of this vacuum is amazing. The best vacuum for stairs I have ever owned, and it does an excellent job on deep carpet. I also use it on our wood floors. It is truly a comprehensive solution compared to other vacuums, and the price is an outstanding value.

I wasn't entirely sure that I wanted to purchase a Shark, since we've been a Dyson household forever, but was I glad I did! This has been one of the best purchases I have made this year. The suction is beyond what I expected - it is soooo powerful, it could easily remove the paint from my home, yet it treats my carpets and hardwood floors with the utmost care. The Shark glides across surfaces with the grace and skill of an Olympic ice skater. Talk about your triple lutz - this Shark eats a Dyson for dinner and comes back for more! I would definitely recommend this vacuum to everyone. So glad I switched!

I've gone through so many vacuums over the years and this one far exceeds them all. Powerful suction, light weight, perfect swivel action for corners, etc. The canister is easy to remove and love that it comes apart for stairs and draperies . Does a great job with pet hair also. I'm hooked and will never buy any other vacuum again! Even saved $50 on sale! Kudos Shark!!!

This is my second purchase of a Shark rotator vacuum. I love the 1st one so i bought another. I need and appreciate the versatility. I easily use it for carpet,hardwood floors, edges, and up high. I love that I can quickly change from carpet to hardwood floor and from wide head to stick wand. And the rotating head is awesome for turning a corner. I accept the fact that I need to empty the dirt canister regularly and keep the filter clean in order to get good suction. I used the Best Buy price match guarantee to save some money. I then purchased the Best Buy Geek Squad coverage because of the reviews that say shark is not quick to respond to warranty issues. Win /win for me.

I replaced an older model with this one and the suction is better, easy options at your fingers and great attachments. Only things I would change is the fact it still falls over when you are using the wand and the pad on the hard floor attachment is made of maerial that has to be cleaned too often in order to use the attachment.

Absolutely love Shark products! This vacuum is great and I got it when Best Buy had a promo code going on. I wish I would have got the deep red (pet edition) but didn't realize their differences until after my purchase. Best Buy was extremely fast in shipping it for free (to Alaska!) My only issue with the vacuum is that the piece that holds the tube in to place down the pole easily falls out of place all the time. We never had this issue with our previous Shark vacuum, it's a major design flaw of this one. Overall I would recommend this vacuum to friends & family. The option to vacuum underneath large furniture without moving it is awesome!

This vacuum is very easy to use. It handled nicely and is easy to use around corners. The canister lifts off easy and goes back on easy. Handle comes apart easy for attachments. Does a very good job cleaning. I read other reviews before I bought it and I am very happy with the purchase.

The Shark rotator llift-away is so easy to use on all types of hard surfaces and carpet heights. It cleans well and finds dirt that is not visible (where does it all come from?!), and it is easy to clean the canister. If I had known the Shark was this good, I'd have bought one much sooner.
