We own an ElectoLux vacuum and it was on its last leg.....was torn between a dyson and the shark rotator.....went with my gut and bought the shark.....beyond pleased....you can go with the dyson if you wanna spend more....or you can buy the shark and maybe also an iPad....for the same price of the dyson!!

Bought a Hoover the suction was so strong couldn't even move the vacuum - same with the $500 Dyson I bought. Brought both back. I don't think when I become a senior citizen I would be able to push or pull the Dyson! Honestly. Got this Shark and I do really like. Love the headlights, different carpet settings and the very big cup holder. Personally I like a bagged vacuum but it looks like those are going away just like washers with agitators :( For me it is kinda heavy but I guess I have to pick what they got. Would recommend.

I love my new vacuum, as I have when I've purchased Shark vacuums in the past. My only complaint with this one is that the hardwood floor setting doesn't pick up as well as my last vacuum did. I find myself going over the same spot a couple times to really get everything up.

I am blown away by how great this vacuum is. I was worried that it wouldn't compete with other brands but this is an excellent buy. Disposal of the canister is super easy and it works wonders with pet hair.
