Very powerful vacuum cleaner to clean around the carpet and floor areas

Shark uprights keep getting better and better!!! I live on a farm with dogs, goats and people, so we have tons of dirt and hair that always need cleaning up. The Shark Rotator not only has incredible suction, it also is easy to use and oh, so versatile. I think what I enjoy best is that I can be vacuuming the floor (carpet or hard surface) and quickly pull the handle out and get a spiderweb off the ceiling! Likewise, doing stairs, I can turn this Shark into a portable canister vac. This one comes with a pet attachment that will pull all animal hair off the upholstery with the pet multi tool, which comes with this version, and it works wonders. Overall, one of the best things about a Shark is that YOU control the cleaning. Filters can be washed in the kitchen sink and dried. I ordered an extra so I always have a clean one ready to pop in there. ((Note that the HEPA filter in the front is not washable, but easily replaceable)) You can also SEE the roller and tell when you get something wrapped around the cylinder-- so nice to be able to see it, stop and clean it, rather than wonder why things are not getting picked up!~ Do I recommend Shark uprights? Heck yeah! If they can pick up the fine dust, pet hair and other stuff in my farmhouse, you know it will work well in yours!

Does all of the things! Only downside is it works so well you have to clean the bristles out every time you use it.

I have owned a few other Shark models in the past. This is my 2nd professional upright with lift-away. My first one was purchased in 2014 and is still running strong. I got this new model so I can have a vacuum on both floors of my house without carrying one up and down the stairs. As usual, this new model performs flawless. Suction is powerful, the brushroll grabs all sorts of hair, fuzz, and dirt out of my carpet. This vacuum is light enough to clean stairs individually, while having the necessary accessories to complete most cleaning tasks quickly and easily. I did notice that the cord on this model is a bit shorter than my other Shark, but it has not been a problem. I definitely recommend this, and other Shark products for people needing a quality vacuum at a reasonable price.

This is not the correct product description. Under "What's included" it states. Motorized Floor Nozzel, Wand, Handle, Pet Multi-Tool, Hard Floor Hero Attachment, Crevice Tool, Pet Power Brush What you actually get on this model is only Pet Multi Tool Crevice Tool It's clearly labeled on the box, however if you order online as I did, you won't know that until it arrives. We bought this unit specifically because it said it included the hard floor hero, that alone is about $75 and for our combo tile/carpet, would have been really nice to have. Also, the pet multi tool is not motorized, only suction. Another item that we wanted. So we returned it and bought a different Shark model that does include the appropriate items. So be warned. I emailed Best Buy customer service to tell them, but they did not make any changes, just told me to return it.

The floor tool is too close to the floor/carpet. Makes a horrible sound on the wood and flat floors. Very nervous it's going to ruin the wood. I complained and they told me that this is how it's supposed to work. I know better than that.

This is a great vacuum although slightly bulky and a little bit clumsy.. Works well on floors as well as carpets

This thing is great. I have two big dogs and it works great. Just wish it have the self powered mini brush

he uses it and loves it comes in very handy especially when we are not around power

This vacuum worked great until cleaning up after a tile removal job with lots of grout dust from an angle grinder. Washing the filters didn't restore useful suction, so it's in the shop to see if it's clogged in some place we couldn't access, or if the filters just aren't washable after sucking up lots of fine dust.
