This vacuum does do a great job at cleaning. I am highly satisfied watching how disgusting my floors are . However I hate how heavy this vacuum is though. My arm gets a workout after every session.

First of all, this vacuum was a breeze to assemble. No tools or instructions needed. It was fairly obvious where everything goes, and it was together in only a few minutes. The big feature here is that it can “convert” into a cannister vac. You press one button, and the “cannister” (motor, dust collection tank, filters, etc.) of the vacuum lift off. This leaves the cannister attached to the flexible hose with the handle at the end. This handle can be directly attached to the accessories, or left attached to the “wand” which can go to either the accessories, or to the powered head. With the cannister detached, it is much thinner for getting under furniture. Once under furniture, the lights on the powered head help illuminate the dirt. Also, Shark units allow you to “swivel” the head to turn it. I don’t’ know of another brand that offers this feature, and should make it easier to get to all of the other areas under your sofas and chairs. If you need to get under items where a standard unit won’t reach, then this might be a very worthy contender to consider. Cleaning of the powered head is accomplished by using something like a quarter or the head of a house key to turn three screws ¼ turn. After that, the roller is exposed for cleaning. However, unlike some other models, the roller is not easily removed, as the belt is firmly attached. This is great for cleaning, but if the belt ever needs to be replaced, it appears as if further disassembly will be required. As to included accessories, all you get is a combo pet/upholstery brush tool (long brush bristles are removable to expose a felt-like brush underneath), and the obligatory wand/crevice attachment. So, if you need to easily get under furniture, or want the ability to have just a cannister/hose/small attachment to clean smaller areas (furniture, stairs, etc.), and are OK with only the two included accessories, then this vacuum checks all of those boxes. I have always been pleased with the quality of Shark vacuums, and this certainly appears to follow in those footsteps.

The Shark Rotator lift-away vacuum is a great tool to have for multiple surface homes, especially with stairs! The lift-away function allows you to use the rest of the vacuum as a stick vacuum, giving you the ability to easily reach areas under furniture and higher surfaces. The dust & debris bin is large and easily able to handle the carpet and hard floors in my home (~1500 sq. ft.) without having to be emptied. It is quieter than many other vacuums of its class and size, allowing you to still hear someone requesting your attention or be able to maintain a conversation, at a slightly elevated tone. The unit is easy to clean and maintain, stores everything neatly on the unit, and has a nice look to it. The only thing I wish it had was internal cable storage, something I have become very accustomed to with my old vacuum, but the storage clips are easy to use and manage the power cable well. I would definitely recommend this vacuum to anyone looking for a versatile, multi-surface vacuum that is light and relatively quiet (compared to other larger vacuums). This is a great vacuum for carpet and works very well on hard floors, too! The large dust & debris bin is great and the assortment of tools are extremely useful!

The Shark Rotator TruePet vacuum is very powerful. The first time I used it the dirt container got filled up and I had recently vacuumed the floors with my Hoover that is still a decent vacuum. That being said, the dirt container on the Shark is smaller than the Hoover’s so it has to be emptied more often. I don’t mind that because I know the carpet is cleaner than it’s ever been. Another plus is the Shark is the quietest vacuum I have used. Wish it had a cord rewinder though. Then it would be perfect.

Great power. Lighter than it looks. Motor can be separated from main brush to allow easy movement. Can be set up as a canister vac on the included caddy. Easy to empty.

The vacuum is very heavy to move around. I did not pay attention to the return date which was only 15days away. Now, I cannot return it either after using it one time I regretted.

    Wow was my house gross

My last vacuum I purchased was about 10 years ago, a Bissell, from Best Buy. Our home holds 2 dogs, 2 cats, 3 children, 4 adults (in-laws stay with us) and many guests in and out often. We purchased new carpet about 1 1/2 yrs ago that's meant for high traffic and was stain treated. We've had it cleaned once since. I vacuum about once a week. Zoom to about 2 weeks ago, our vacuum finally broke. I did some homework online, read reviews, watched videos, and decided to go with Shark. I purchased the Shark Rotator Powered model # NV752, not listed at Best Buy but closest match to this -could just be a color difference (confession, I went somewhere else where I could apply a coupon). I vacuumed the living room first and had to empty the canister twice. It pulled up soooo much dirt and animal hair, I was disgusted and amazed. Next room was the "play"/animal room that led out to the backyard... emptied the canister 4 times! It was so gross and so satisfying at the same time. I've noticed better air quality immediately. My oldest was encouraged to clean her room and vacuum and she also got close to a whole canister full, and she has much less traffic. My project this weekend is to vacuum the furniture, can't wait. It's life changing really, a reminder of how much technology/appliances improve even after a few years. And we had a whole 10! Just get it, best investment.

Got this Shark to replace our 5-year-old Dyson (which I had thought was the best in class). But first 5 rooms with this Shark Rotator left my wife and I very impressed. The cannister had so much dust in it compared to usual! Really did a great job sucking out our medium pike carpet. Fluffed up the carpet nicely too. Detaching the cannister was easy for wand operation on the stairs and getting under the couch. Attachments were simple to use, and emptying the cannister was a breeze too. Just a couple minute read on the card made it very simple. We hope this vacuum lasts us a very long time. Gotta say, impressed so far!

This vacuum works very well, and for a hybrid handheld/upright it's very stable. Other ones I have had tip over if not leaning against a wall when fully assembled. It was easy to assemble out of the box and start up. The only issue I have is it's not completely common sense to figure out how to connect/disconnect and empty etc. Once figured out it's pretty good. First time I ran it I figured out how much dirt my other vacuum wasn't picking up/ Clear bagless canister makes it easy to tell how much you cleaned up and when to empty. Same as before with the easy directions. Emptying takes a little bit of reading to figure out, but once you get it figured out; it's easy. Definitely good for regular household use as an upright and not just a portable. I haven't had if very long so I can't speak to the durability yet, but it seems well put together and not fragile. Also not lightweight

Good mid priced vacuum. Probably should be 4.5 stars since it only comes with two accessories: a crevice tool and a brush which converts to an upholstery tool but not a big deal. I like that it converts to a handheld canister style for cleaning other surfaces besides floors such as stairs, car, cobwebs, etc. Not a duo clean, it only has a single brushroll but still works well. The duo clean one may be better for bare floors but I like this one for carpets. Shark makes quality products for a reasonable price.
