If you have to do it, use this. They made efforts to make stairs easier with the removable tank, but stairs are always going to be terrible. I easily recommend this machine, and it's priced way better than any Dyson product!

The lift off feature is great! Was able to climb a ladder and vacuum dust from ceiling tiles! Loads of power.
