I love how it is easy to remove the canister and be carried up the stairs to clean them versus a traditional vacuum cleaner. It does fairly well with cleaning up pet hair, but does not seem to be as deep as a traditional vacuum cleaner (this test is put up against 2 long hair cats). Does well in cleaning up dirt and other messes left behind by 3 children.
