Not what I was hoping for

After reading reviews and speaking with a store associate I felt this vacuum would be best for my home. Unfortunately I found it to be very heavy and bulky. I did not like that you have to have the entire cord unwrapped in order to use the detachable hose. At times the force of suction was so much that it actually damaged my rugs. The detachable canister was what sold me on the device but unfortunately it's such a hassle switching everything that I rarely use that feature. I find that even though it's compatible with hardwood floors, it just spits everything out the back of the vacuum because the brushes spin at such a high rate. Not at all what I was hoping for
