The suction is good, and the vacuum does a great job of cleaning floors. It's relatively quiet and the lights are helpful. The cord length is disappointing, I can't clean the whole living room without changing outlets. The unit is top heavy and will fall over constantly if you're not holding it when you use the hose. The button to release the dirt is strangely on the bottom, where it pours out. The cord comes out of the bottom right of the unit, so if you're right handed you will likely keep stepping on the cord and halting your forward motion. The vacuum is fairly priced for what you get.

Awesome all around vacuum. Love the colors,easy to use,great for the stairs,keeps suction even with pet hair, turns into a canister vacuum for easy stair cleaning. Comes with all the tools you could possibly need.

My wife loves this vacuum. I was trying to talk her into a Dyson, but she thought this model was better. She loves her shark and it does a great job.

I bought this vacuum cleaner after my Dyson that I had over 6 years was having problems. It picks up very well. I also like that it comes apart for smaller jobs. The only thing I would like to see is the hose to be longer. It is not long enough.

Bought mine almost a year ago... So happy with it, my kids each got one for Christmas from me and absolutely love it. So versatile, and does not lose suction. I am forever a shark buyer. Thank you!!

We’ve decided to buy a new vacuum and reviews led to this Shark over Dyson. As soon as we got home I realized how much my old vacuum really wasn’t that good! This Shark got up everything that the old vacuum didn’t. I was so impressed that I kept sweeping for about an hour total because it was giving a deep clean that my old one wasn’t doing. I was so blown away with this performance. I emptied the canister 4 times in its first use within 45 minutes. If you want a quality vaccine that’s versatile and can really get down in the carpet and get that nasty stuff then the Shark Professional is your choice!! BEST VACUUM we’ve ever owned.

Love it, it gets all the dog and cat hair. It never loses suction and its very light.

This is my 2nd shark. I have owned a Dyson in the past and this shark has much more suction, and is more light weight. You can't beat the price of it with all the attachment.

did my research online, reviews, facebook, etc. I decided to give this vacuum a try. I love it. The suction, design, filtration system, and ease of use is above what I expected. The attachments are beneficial. I use it on bare floor, carpet, tile,sofa, walls, and etc. thanks

This vacuum is very light and easy to push. The assembly instructions were clear and it went together quickly. The filter stops dust from returning to the air. I am very pleased with this product.

This vacuum was easy to assemble and use. Also picks up debris on both hard floors and carpets with ease. Best vacuum I've ever purchased to date.

I picked this one out of a top ten list online. Never heard of shark before however a lot of online review sites said that it was a lot of bang for your buck. It is not too loud has amazing suction can vacuum two or three rooms about three times before the bin fills up but it's easy to dump out and you can buy filters with a scent to help with carpet odor. It is very light and my girlfriend loves it she is vacuuming all the time now.

Dyson finally died on us after 10years. Decided to try out a Shark and glad we did! Came with lots of different attachments and suction power is great. Seems quieter than previous. Lift away feature is really cool. The whole vacuum is a little heavy. But that’s why it has wheels to roll around. Has a bunch of cool features to help unclog any large debris. Would recommend.

I have been using a Dyson Animal for past 3-4 years. Was working good, except it did start to have a really bad smell I could not track down. We installed new frieze carpet and the Dyson did not fare too well. I have 4 dogs, with 5 often here (dogs people have dumped) and I have to sweep at least once a day, often I will do some areas twice a day as a couple of the dogs shed horribly no matter how much you brush them. I did quite a bit of research and pretty much everyone seemed to love the Shark Liftaway. Worried about the frieze carpet, I also found a couple of people saying it worked just fine on frieze. Bought it, brought it home and loved it. Excellent suction, loved the liftaway - but the auto height adjustment just did not work with the frieze. It was very hard to push the sweeper over the carpet and if the vacuum is running too low on the carpet, it will shorten the life of the carpet, plus frizz up the ends of it. I really liked the Shark and tried to see if there was a way I could physically raise the sweeper head up a bit without affecting the suction, but I really did not see a way. I hated to do it, but I ended up returning it for another sweeper. I am not a fan of canister cleaners plus I have to have bagless or I would go thru a bag a day with as much dog hair as I sweep up. I checked out the electrolux they had. It supposedly had different height adjustments on it, but I am apparently not too bright and couldn't see it. I am thinking it had to be turned on to adjust it and I couldn't find a handy plug. Not wanting to return another, I ended up with the Eureka "bagless for around $150. It has the easy to adjust height adjustments and works well with the frieze carpet. Seems to work well, but the Shark and Dyson seemed to have more suction. On a small entry carpet, the Shark and Dyson would suck it up, would have to hold it down with one foot and sweep off the carpet. With the Eureka I sweep it pretty much normally. BUT, it does seem to do the job. I seem to get all of the dog hair and a whole bunch of dirt.......wish the shark would have worked tho The one "negative" with the shark is you do have to have a place to keep the accessories.

Great vacuum. High suction power, easy to empty chamber, nice attachments, not too heavy.

This is my second Shark Rotator Lift Away vacuum. The first one lasted just shy of 5 years and I vacuum almost daily. When my first one broke I went out the next day and purchased a new one of the exact model. This machine is lightweight and easy to use. The suction is very strong and it works well with the attachments. I have had many vacuums thru the years but the Shark is by far the best one I have ever had.

I live in apartment, but I'm passionate about being clean. I started with a $100 Hoover, but I exchanged it for this. This vacuum far exceeded my expectations. The suction is fantastic, but that's not the end of its quality. It's quiet and it can be used in different ways: (1) standard upright vacuum with four different attachments, or (2) dissembled into a stick vacuum.

Works great with a lot of features but a few drawbacks... periodically, the clips that hold parts in place will let go unexpectedly. It's not frequent but every once in a while to be annoying. Comes with plenty of attachments. We have 3 pets and this one works really well to control the pet hair.

In my mid 50's I've owned several vacuums in my lifetime. Moving to a new area and needing a new vac, I did my research and chose this one. This vacuum is AMAZING! Cleans carpets beautifully. Easy to empty dirt container, and I love that it has a "headlight". Lightweight, maneuverable, and has great attachments. My BEST Best Buy purchase!
