It's anything you would want in a vacuum, for a basic user. I live in an apartment and it gets dust and debris up from deep in the carpet, leaving it soft and pleasant to walk on. Be careful to clear out ANY loose wires or other small objects though, because this thing is POWERFUL. It sucked up a USB Cord of mine. My fault!

Love the power of this vaccum. Als the convenience of the tools and the lift away option. Great vaccum for the price.

I like this vacuum better than the Dyson I use to have. Awesome suction and easy to maneuver. I would have given it five stars if it had a retractable cord, a bigger dirt cup, and the brush tool had more than one row of bristles.

Have had a kirby that had been acting up and we are getting it fixed but being a pet owner needed something now!! Researched many vacuums and picked this one and very happy with it!! We could not believe how much stuff this shark picked up! Filled up the generous sized lint container quickly! Also like the extra attachments and cart that goes with it!!

This is by far the best vacuum I've EVER purchased, and I've had quite a few. I have a dog that sheds like crazy and I've gone thru several vacuums because of the dog hair. They were all decent vacuums, but this one takes the title hands down. It has GREAT suction power and it handles smooth. Highly recommend this vacuum, especially for heavy duty house holds.

This is a well designed vacuum and is very easy to use. I just wish you could store all of the attachments onboard

Cleaning is as good as my old Shark and the variety of ways to use it is great. easy to rearrange for canister and rolls nicely.

This Vacuum is solid. It puts the cheaper Eureka I had to shame, and is just as effective as the Dyson I have used in the past without the heavy price tag . In fact I think it's perfect for its price point. Filter is easy to clean, the attachments work great, it has strong suction, plus I like the fact that you can convert it into a canister vacuum.

Much more powerful than I expected and quieter. The first time I ran it I couldn't believe the amount of dirt it pulled from my carpet. I have noticed a difference in the air when it runs compared to my old vacuum, noticeable exhaust smell. I only wish it had a retractable cord reel.

I use my shark all the time. It works great, and love how you can switch it over to bare floor.

I enjoy this product it is everything I have been looking for and more. I clean a lot and this allows me to do so.

It does very well on my carpet and hardwood. It was recommended by someone who cleans houses, so I knew it would be a good purchase.

My wife and recently got a long haired cat and decided it was time to get a better vacuum to help us tackle all of the cat hair around the house. This vacuum has been awesome so far. It comes with a lot of nice attachments and does a really great job picking up fur from the carpet and couch.

I just can't get over how great this vacuum is! Gets all the dog hair and more! We use this vacuum almost every day since we have a golden retriever that leaves her calling card wherever she goes, dog hair. We empty the canister after each use and it is always full. This new vacuum puts all the old vacuums to shame! Only wish the cord was easier to use, must hold it, in spite of this, the vacuum is great!

I recently purchased this vacuum. In my search for a handheld vacuum to clean carpeted stairs and furniture, I read an article that listed this Shark vacuum in the top 5 for best vacuums for stairs/furniture. As I said, I only wanted a handheld but as I was shopping for one, I realized I would need to spend around $50 dollars. I then rationalized that we have had our current vacuum for over 4 years, so maybe it's time for a new one. With this rationalization, I pulled the trigger and bought this one.

This is hands down - one of the BEST vacums I have ever owned.... It's lightweight - easy to use - easy to clean - and makes keeping my floors clean an easy task !! I use it on our carpet, our tile, and our wood floors. It's also lightweight.

i was hesitate to buy this vacuum because we love our dyson but the thing is light and a great vacuum overall.
