The only good thing about this product is the suction. To use the vacuum on wood floors is really awkward. If you put the canister on the rolling base, the hose is too short and the vacuum is constantly bumping into you as you pull it around. You can pick the canister up and carry it, but then that doesn't leave you a free hand to move chairs or other things. Also, when you use the carpet attachment, it doesn't work very well on a shag-type carpet. We only have hard woods and rugs and one of our rugs is shag and it is really hard to maneuver the vacuum over the rug.

I am obsessed with this vacuum! It has a powerful suction and is easy to take apart to clean. Living in West Texas with kids and pets, we needed something that could handle all the dust, snack crumbs, and pet hair. Recently, my original shark vacuum was ruined after about 2 years of use due to a family member running it over a soaking wet carpet after a bathroom faucet burst... (I don't know how some people make it to adulthood without ever learning that that is a BAD idea!) But up until then, it worked every bit as well as the day I bought it. I've never owned another vacuum that performs near as well after a year of use. It was a no brainer to replace it with another shark vacuum!

I usually dont review items but felt the need to review this vacuum. After owning a Dyson that finally broke down I started doing my research for vacuums and there is alot to consider. Brands, size, features etc. I also had a budget to consider. So after reading reviews after reviews I bought this Shark vacuum and I am glad I did. Assembly was easy, vacuum works very strong for my pet home. the attachments are easy to use and convenient on the unit itself. I would have like another 10 feet of power cord but its manageable. I am happy with my purchase because this vacuum works better for my home situation than the dyson. You wont be dissapointed with this vacuum.

I bought this to replace my stain. I has incredible power and it's very versatile. The only thing that is slightly bothersome is the wand hose and how it tends to pull and knock over the canister. I would buy this again.

We have 3 dogs and 2 of them shed like crazy. This vacuum will clean the whole house in one go with out having to unplug and plug it back in. Is great on messes our kids make too. Very very happy with this product.

This vacuum has unbelievable power & suction. I just cleaned my rug with my old vacuum cleaner, then used the Shark Rotator Professional & I could not believe how much more dirt was pulled out of the rug. It easily converts to a lightweight, hand held vacuum. I would highly recommend this vacuum cleaner. I am glad I bought it.

This is our first Shark. Have owned Hoover, Kenmore, Bissell in the past. Expected the Shark to just be hype. Bought it because BB had a great deal on it. It is a great vacuum! Great suction, maneuverable, and the lift off is very handy. If I had to come up with a negative, I wish the cord was longer.

Lightweight great attachments cleans easy don't need bags

It is light weight with good suction. I like that it has a removeable canister. It's very easy to empty the dirt and there's no fussing with disposable bags like my 1987 vintage Eureka that quit on me just recently.

Have owned many different brands of vacuum over the years, but none have withstood the test of time like a Shark. This particular model is very versatile and powerful. Love the ease of use and easy empty feature. Amazing to see what it picks up from what looks like a 'clean' rug. Great product!

I had 2 Dyson’s before buying this Shark, and let me say, this Shark has great suction! I have 2 dogs and dog hair covered floors! This vacuum is easy to use and lightweight. The day I got it we vacuumed our bedroom and my husband and I were shocked how much it picked up. You would have thought I didn’t vacuum the bedroom for 2 weeks... the Dyson was not working well the whole time I had it. Love the lights when vacuuming tile! It it a little hard to push on carpet when the suction setting it set to max but it’s easy to just lower the suction. Love how easy it is to use the wand with an attachment.

We had an old electrolux canister vacuum that had been fixed at least 10 times over the years. I finally said it has to go. Talked to a few folks that clean houses for a living and the all recommend Shark vacuums. The person at Best Buy pointed us to the Rotator being their Best seller. We were not disappointed. It is very versatile and not heavy for what it can do. The suction and power is fantastic. The only downside I could say is the instructions could do a better job in showing you how to use the attachments and options. It took me a little while to figure out how to pull the handle out and use as a wand. But youtube works too.

This vacuum is incredibly powerful and picks up almost anything. I didn't realize how bad my old vacuum was until the first time I used this Shark vacuum. The canister was almost full after just one upstairs vacuuming. The attachments are easy to use and the canister comes off, making it easy to vacuum the stairs.

Easy to use, great suction power, love the portability of it, easy to clean, lightweight and best value for the price!! I've had a Kirby and a Dyson and I think the Shark is by far the best out of all of them and it's even the cheapest! My son got one from a tenant who was going to throw it out because it quit working. We took it apart and it was just totally clogged with dirt and hair and apparently had never been cleaned. We cleaned all the junk out of it and it works like a champ!! No issues with either of them and I highly recommend the Shark to all of my friends.

I purchased this vacuum to replace a very heavy upright that I had been using. The Shark Rotator Professional Liftaway is lightweight and easy to handle. I love the liftaway feature which makes vacuuming the stairs a breeze. My only regret is that I didn’t buy this vacuum sooner.

Best vacuum I've ever owned. No I don't work for the company. Not being paid to promote the product. With all of the attachments and conversions it's possible to get into almost any crevice or tight spot. Great for cobwebs and dog hair also

I have had a Bissel for years and it was in sore need of an upgrade. The amount of junk this vacuum picks up is insane. I have cats and dogs and first time I used it It looked like I had vacuumed up a whole dog.... Did I mention it is quiet? Much much quieter than my Bissel.

I have 2 dogs and our Orek wasn’t cutting it. I vacuumed the living room with the orek and then did it a 2nd time with the new shark and I think it picked up a 3rd dog! Lol Great vacuum, powerful and easy to use! Wife loves it and the HEPA filters a plus for my allergies!
