I love this vacuum!!! Just is hard to find it anywhere! Has a lot suction is a little bit heavy but I do t care I loveeee

Worked great for a very short time. Then just stopped, return was easy

We have used this vacuum for 3 months and it is great. We use it at least every other day, some weeks every day depending on the season. We have a long haired dog in the house, plus 5 kids and vacuuming is a chore! Love this vacuum.

I bought this vacuum just over two weeks ago. I vacuumed with my old vac immediately before using the Shark for the first time. I could hardly believe how much the Shark picked up that my other vac had left behind. The dust cup is SO much easier to dump than the cup on my last vac. The accessories are all quite useful, though the wand is a bit heavier than I'd like. Unfortunately, it appears that the button that releases the wand no longer works (used about 4 times), and without being about to use the wand, quite a few of the Shark's functionalities are eliminated. To add insult to injury, Best Buy in Waterford, CT was unwilling to do an exchange since my purchase was 18 days ago. (Unbeknownst to me, they'd recently cut return time in half...) I bought it with the special 6-month financing, and I haven't even made my first payment yet! I was shocked that Best Buy was unwilling to exchange the vacuum within such a short time frame. Thus, I was forced to call Shark. Fortunately, they were much more accommodating. I will have to send the vacuum back to them, but they did say they would send a new replacement. Of course, this means that I'll be without a vacuum for a week or so. Unfortunately, I threw away the original box, so I'll have to dig up something the broken vac will fit into. The person at Shark was also surprised that Best Buy has such an unbelievably short return period. At any rate, I'm hoping that the now non-functioning wand button on my current Shark is the exception and not the rule, because otherwise I love this vacuum. I'll try to post an update after I receive the replacement vacuum.

Definitely NOT for pets. Gets clogged and stops working.

I did a lot of research before finally purchasing this product. I was determined to not get another terrible vacuum. This one is amazing! It's super easy to assemble and comes with lots of tools to get all the pet hair out of the house (for now). It's also the quietest vacuum I have ever had. So quiet that the dogs did not run away in terror from it. They actually sat there and just watched. On top of that, it pulled a whole tank full of dirt and grime from just our short hallway. We moved into our house a month ago and THOUGHT the carpets were cleaned before we moved in. Guess not!! Love love love this vacuum!

I'm very pleased with its performance, gets up stubborn pet hair. Light weight and has versatile configurations. Easy to clean, two thumbs up!

I could not believe the quality that this vacuum brings to the home. It was sucking up stuff in the carpet that I thought was clean. Great vacuum.

I've gone through several hoovers, eureka, windtunnel, you name it.. seem to break or lose suction after less that one year of use . I'd been through several replacement using the best buy plan. With this Shark.. boy does it suck! (no pun intended!).. it picked up nasty things from several years ago... Buy it now and spend the little extra! its worth it!

based my decision using consumer reports and customer reviews. I am very pleased with this vacuum. it has shop vac strength, picking up dirt out of my carpet. it is quiet also, I can have a conversation without yelling while using the vacuum, and my dog doesn't run and hide or try to attack the vacuum while in use.

I read several reviews before deciding to purchase this vacuum, and we haven't been disappointed. It has performed very well. My only complaint is that it falls over easily when standing upright. The slightest nudge will knock it over. But aside from that we've loved it. I would buy a Shark again.

I review everything before I purchase it and I mostly always purchase from BestBuy. This vacuum is like a Bentley of vacuums but at a reasonable price. You know a product is great when you start vacuuming your home for fun. I have 5 dogs and they are shedding terrible this season and this magical contraption picks up every single bit of hair, even after I sweep and mop and think nothing is there; oh trust me, this baby will find everything. Super excited and now purchasing another Shark product. Yay. :)

I got this vacuum after my budget vacuum cleaner went on the fritz. I spent a few weeks researching before getting this one. It is much better than I expected -- its so easy to maneuver that I find myself vacuuming much more frequently than I used to, and it picks up everything.

This is the best vacuum I have ever owner this has truly changed my view on vacuums shark has changed my life and I know it will change yours too give it a try.

Spending a little extra to get this vacuum is a wise choice. You will instantly see the different in your home after use. It is great for people with pets that shed. I even use it to clean up cat litter and there is no problem! It gets it all!

I purchased this vacuum after my 9 year old Dyson DC07 Animal finally died. I had read a lot of very positive reviews and I've not been disappointed. It works just as well, if not better than my Dyson that cost about twice as much, and the Shark has a 5 year warranty. It really gets the grunge out and works very well on carpet and hard floors. The only negative I can say is the canister needs to be emptied much more frequently than the Dyson. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

I had a Dyson previously and was looking at another one, but decided to save some cash and take a chance on the Shark after reading the reviews. It was easy to setup and is easy to use. Suction is awesome and I felt like the carpet was cleaner than it's been in awhile. I've had it just a few weeks, but i'm impressed and the product has exceeded my expectations.

Best Vacuum ever! Right out of the box i started to vacuum and was disgusted with how much my old vacuum was leaving behind! I have 3 long haired cats and a pug... and this vacuum gets the hair so easy!

My DYSON and the amount I paid for it can go suck it after buying this, well actually my SHARK sucks more, in a good way. I AM AMAZED WHAT COMES OFF MY CARPET EACH TIME I VACUUM COMPARED TO MY DYSON! The wood/hard floor function is great and it is amazing with cat hair and on blinds. No worry about bags, NO BELTS TO BREAK! Just have to clean it every 3 mos. BY FAR MY FAVORITE HOUSEHOLD PURCHASE OVER THE PAST YEAR. Don't waste your money on cheap vacuums that lose suction quickly and need constant part changes, this is a sturdy 5 year investment.

I couldn't be happier. It cleans amazingly, and I love all the different ways it can be used (as a canister, as an upright, hoses, attachments, etc.). It's easily the best vacuum I've ever owned.
