It was purchased in summer 2013 but since it was very heavy for my tiny ill sister, she never used it...maybe 3 times. She insisted on doing the housework so I used it maybe 4 times for my own room. After she died last November, I was vacuuming and it just stopped. I was shocked! I let it cool in case it had overheated for some reason, but it has never worked since. So it has been used less than 10 times but it's over 2 years old so I don't have a warranty and I now have a $200 paperweight. When it did work... 1) it's on the heavy side and 2) the hose is very short and awkward. It did have great suction for the short time it actually worked.

I ordered this vacuum thinking I was getting Sharks lift-way technology with the powered brush head. NO this model lifts away but then you can only attach a non-powered brush or other tools. The whole reason I purchased this vacuum was to clean rugs under beds and furniture. This model does NOT do that. The powered brush head is very small and really, the only advantage is the unit is light weight. I have many oriental rugs of varying thickness and this vacuum does not do the job .It is really just a lightweight portable and not a full-sized vacuum. For me it was a waste of money and I wish I had returned. I am going to have to purchase another more powerful vacuum. Be careful which Shark model you choose people and know what you are buying because the descriptions are confusing.

Very versatile and excellent suction, which is great with 2 pets. Picked up so much more that my old vacuum left behind.

This has been the best vacuum I have ever owned and used. I’ve had this device for several years and it works so well. I can take out the filter and rinse it off and air dry and it works like new again. Love it and highly recommend. The auction with the tools is excellent. It comes a part. 5 Stars!!!

Please Read this review!! You do not need a warranty it comes with a 5 year warranty on its own. Save this step they want your $$$!! I've tried both Dyson Animal DC41 and Shark Rotator Lift away. I am all about the bargain and this price is fair. As far as performance it is worth the money and there is now way I will use anything else after this experience. I spend a tone of time dusting and hate how much time it takes. This cuts it in half the time. 1 or 2 passes it is over:) LOVE IT!!!

Great vacuum, our dyson had started to die, so we switched to the vacuum and it works just as good if not better because of the added attachments.

Crazy good suction. After moving into an apartment, I could see the vacuum marks from the cleaning service. I don't wear shoes on the carpet, but decided to vacuum anyway a week after moving in. The amount of stuff this pulled up was pretty disgusting since they had cleaned the place before moving in. I like the features included on it, but just the power of suction is the best part. It's definitely the best vacuum I've ever owned.

Purchased the highly rated Hoover Pet 3 HEPA whatever. My not so old Hoover Tempo was impossible to push on our new berber loop style carpet. Turns out the new Hoover Pet 3 HEPA whatever was impossible too! No matter what height setting we had either set at and with or without the carpet brush on (Newer vac). We (husband & I) lift weights regularly, I'm not bragging, just giving an idea of what I mean by "difficult". Neither was working on our berber loop style carpet. Spent hours online trying to find out what type to buy for our berber loop style carpet and couldn't find a conclusive answer!! very frustrating!!! Went to our local store to return the new Hoover, swore I wouldn't buy a new vac unless a sales associate that knew what they were talking about was able to enlighten us. I actually prayed for help! I have new carpet and no way to clean it. Bless with our sales associate who knew about the problems with berber carpet and recommended this, gave some demos. Said to let him know, he wanted to know how it worked on our carpet. Ya!!! ****Don't use the regular vacuum base with this on your berber or loop carpet. This piece did fuzz a piece of carpet I accidently tried it on. It seems the rug/bare floor attachment set to "Carpet" works best. It did a great job. I don't know if it's perfect. I don't have full confidence the attachment will fully suck up all the dirt down in there. Maybe it is. I haven't gone over a piece and then back over it with my old vacuum yet. The stairs were dirty and it pulled a lot more dirt out of the stairs than I expected.

Easy to use, light. And no more purchasing the wrong style bags! Very easy to clean!

Overall this has been a good vacuum. I just wish there was a way to remove dog odor from the vacuum. I have tried replacing ALL of the filters. The hose actually ripped a while back so I had to replace that. I have cleaned the canister and the bottom of the unit. I just can't get rid of that odor...

I can't believe how powerful this vacuum is. I vacuumed a room with my old Bissell first then with my new shark. I am still amazed at how much stuff the new vacuum picked up in what I thought was a clean room. So happy with my purchase :)

I reluctantly switched to the Shark Rotator after having a Dyson DC15 for over 10 years. After reading reviews and seeing the price comparison between Dyson and Shark I figured I would give it a try and if it wasn't great I would return it. It was better than great and I am glad I made the purchase. I live in a community in Arizona that is at the base of a mountain in the desert. We get lots of dust and sand. It works great on my tile and carpet floors. I was shocked when I used it for the first time and saw what was coming out of our carpets that looked clean.

I had this vacuum for some time now and I just love the new carpet feel every time I use it. The feature that allows you to turn the power brush on and off is super convenient for if I just want to quickly vacuum my hardwood floors. Picks up great and a great value.

We have hard wood and tile floors but have only ever used a broom to clean. We rented an apartment for a week on vacation and there was a shark vacuum in the unit. After using it, I purchased one for our home. Works great and always has suction. Great product!

Overall been very happy with the vacuum. Cleans very well. When we first received it, we vacuumed with our old one, and then re-did the room with the Shark- and we were Shocked! at how much dirt the old one was missing.

We purchased this vacuum after our previous vacuum decided to retire after 8 years. The first time we used this vacuum we were disgusted by what it picked up from our carpet that our previous vacuum missed. The only complaints I have about the vacuum is that this version doesn't come with a caddie that you can put the vacuum on when removed from the swivel base or the detail kit.

This vacuum is excellent! It is one of the best one I ever owned. I did a comparison between Shark / Dyson, and went with Shark because it only had a little less power, however, the price was much lower than Dyson.

I've always been a Bissell or Hoover person, mainly because they've been affordable. Shark wasn't really on my radar when I went to look at a replacement for my aging Hoover. It was at Best Buy that I saw the reviews they have displayed by the price tag. I was surprised my how many reviews there were, and by the high score. Then I started looking closely at the vacuums, and seeing that they seemed to be better designed than I expected. I then looked at more reviews and decided to purchase this model. Best Buy even matched an online price, so I could get it and take it home right then and there. I've been really happy with it so far. The attachments stay put until you need them, and the dust canister hasn't gotten big dust clumps like my Hoover did. I would say that I'm now a Shark convert.

Great Vacuum. Really great suction. Lasted from purchase in 2019 until recently the roller gave up in 2022.
