I needed a light-weight vacuum which would work well on vinyl flooring, area rugs, and wall to wall carpet. I also needed one that could clean off dog hair from furniture. This works for me and the young woman who cleans the house every two weeks. I had some trouble assembling it, but that’s me. I think it would be easier for others.

Easy to use and light weight. Lots of power and gets the job done quickly

We go through vacuums like nobody's business. We done Dyson and Kenmore, but decided on this one because of the cost and reviews. I will have to say that this vacuums really handles the job for us. It's especially helpful that we can remove it and use it on the steps and not have to lug the vacuum around.

Tired of buying a new vacuum every year, I decided on a shark after reading tons of reviews. It works great! After using it the first day, I can't believe I was lying on our floor! I really like the pivoting head. Ergonomics are comfortable and cleaning it is a breeze. Happy with this machine!

Does a real nice job! A lot of cool attachments...the suction is better than my oreck! Sales person was extremely helpful! Definitely recommend!

Senior citizen, so what I don't like is the different means of canisters having to be taken apart and replaced for others in order to perform different functions. Would prefer all in one machine.
