This Shark Professional vacuum cleaner is an excellent investment. It is lightweight and easy to handle. The swivel head makes it a great way to get around corners and edges. I would definitely recommend this Shark to anyone looking to buy a quality vacuum cleaner.

This thing is amazing. I had long been frustrated with the old vacuum my wife and I got as a wedding gift 6 years ago. But until we got this, I didn't realize just how much the old one wasn't doing. Right away I had filled the canister with dust from the carpet. This thing gets everything on the floor between two cats and my toddler dropping her food.

I picked this up with my work associate for our office. She has one just like it at home, and swears by it (which is much better than swearing *at* it). I've only had to use it once so far but it works quite well. The way the head pivots is very cool - that's a new thing for me. This vacuum definitely sucks, but when you're reading a vacuum review, that's actually a recommendation.

Fantastic suction and very lightweight for a full-sized vacuum

We have been using Oreck for years. We were at Costco looking for a new unit and picked the Shark. They did not have one in stock, so we went over to Best Buy. We were able to test it out and the sales person let us take all the time we wanted. We bought the Shark and Best Buy matched the price. This vacuum is fantastic. We cannot believe how much suction it has and the many things it can do..

Bought vacuum and the third day use it to suck up a powder mess. Unfortunately, the powder residue stayed stuck inside of the hose lining. I didn’t expect that. I figured a vacuum will clean up eh mess perfectly without messing up the vacuum. Wrong. Ended up exchanging the vacuum for the same thing, and learning from that. Certain things can’t be vacuumed apparently. Plus side of this product, great for tile and carpet flooring, extra equipment to use for different area, hand carry accessible, it’s versatile.

Let me say we had a Rainbow vacuum before. This is no Rainbow but it also does not cost $1000. I love the vacuum and all the accessories that come with it. My wife who does vacuum more then me said she likes it better then the Dyson we tried just not as much as the Rainbow. Best thing to me is it is a light vacuum, no canister, and with the parts that come with it there should be no place you can not clean A++ in my book

It's a great vacuum and cleans the carpet pretty clean. Great for cleaning fan blades and narrow areas. Wish the hose as longer.

We installed new hi-pile "soft" carpeting and needed a new vac as the old one would not plow thru the higher pile carpet. This vac works great. We have to set the suction on just half power as it will probably suck the carpet off the floor we we use fill suction. The beater works really well too. We have a dog and it picks up all the hair with no problem. Attachments work good and the hose stretches a great deal--good enough for what we need. Emptying the dirt cup is no probelm and not messy. I think this would be a great choise for most households.

I needed a light vacuum that worked great on stairs. Worked perfect!

All of the Shark vacuums are really good value. But I returned this one for the powered lift away. I would advise to spend the extra money on the powered version!

I needed a light-weight vacuum which would work well on vinyl flooring, area rugs, and wall to wall carpet. I also needed one that could clean off dog hair from furniture. This works for me and the young woman who cleans the house every two weeks. I had some trouble assembling it, but that’s me. I think it would be easier for others.

I have always bought hoovers and they break in less than a year. Decided to try this and what a difference. My mom has had hers for three years.
