I had wanted a self-propelled vacuum to replace my Hoover that had "died" on me. Also, I wanted the rotator head, making it easier to get around furniture without hurting my shoulder. I would recommend this particular vacuum due to it's flexibility in going from an upright to a canister and easier to vacuum stairs. Great suction and easy to maneuver!

We tried a Dyson and then the Shark in the store. The Shark seemed to have the same suction as the Dyson and it was half the price. No bag and easy to empty. We have 2 cats and it is great for picking up pet hair from the carpet and the furniture. We have had the Shark for about a month and it works great!

We just switched from an older dyson vacuum which worked well for many years, but finally bit the dust. I read a lot of reviews on hundreds of vacuums before buying this one and I'm really happy I did. This vacuum works better than our old dyson and is far less expensive. We have a dog and a 3 year old so the vacuum gets used a lot. I would definitely recommend this vacuum to others.

I wanted to see if the advertisements were true about better suction than a Dyson, well that advertisement was true, I have a Dyson and the Shark is better about picking up deep seated dirt in the carpets. Thank you for making my job a bit easier. Jude

I love my Shark, specifically this one. I have owned two (I left one behind when I moved by accident). It has a powerful suction, and when you empty the canister, the dust doesn't fly everywhere, plus you can open from both ends to empty. Great accessory tools and not terribly heavy.

Near quiet and does a great job. Lighter than my old one.

I purchased on sale to replace my current model. It works great and comes with attachments. Great suction especially for the pet hair that likes to act like tumbleweeds on the floor. Only negative is they changed the buttons and they seem stiff and cheap but it still seems to work like the original one I had.

I can't speak for the durability, but this is, at this point the best vac I've ever owned. I've only had it for 2 weeks, and really never had a high end vac to compare it to. For the money, I'm very well satisfied with this machine so far.

Vacuum is heavier than anticipated when using the 'lift-away' and awkward to maneuver in small spaces on its upright stand. It is hard to get under most furniture without much bending. The dirt cup is of good size and easy to empty. Suction is about average. All in all, the vacuum is a disappointment after having read many very good reviews.

Love how easily this vacuum handles and how great it cleans.

The mechanism on the suction control & the lever for unlatching it (by thr handle)are stickier than on an older but same model. So far so good. As with any canister vaccuum, clean the filters and the beater brush/wand regularly, more regularly than the manufacturer suggests, and they can last years. I do not use scented carpet additives, etc which I believe lends to the longevity of my Sharks. They are top heavy, but not terribly so. Definitely remove from base when using the wand, as it can topple over as you manuver about. Purchased 11/08/2021, no issues beyond the sticky latches. The old model I own (circa 2016 or earlier) still runs despite years enduring dog hair, cat hair, desert dust, and a small kid. It was retired to car cleaning due to others not maintaining the filter like I mentioned earlier (holds old smells internally regardless of cleaning now)... so if you stay on top of maintenance to prevent that, this model by Shark is a good buy, imho. Beats buying a vaccuum every 2 years (*glares at other pet friendly vac brands*)

I have tile and laminate flooring with three dogs with Florida sand, so I need frequent vacuuming. No carpet in my house except area rugs. The Shark Rotator lives up to its name - it twists and turns easily and gets into smaller spaces. The brush can be left off or turned on as desired. I turn it on to get up stubborn dirt and hair off tile floors.

We have had this vacuum for a few months now and it was an excellent purchase. We had just cleaned the house with our previous vacuum the day before and this thing pulled dirt out of our rugs we could never get. We also have a dog and it has been excellent and easy on the hardwood floors. The integrated wand attachment is so easy. Great Shark!
