I purchased this vacuum a month ago to replace my 18 year-old Dyson. So far it's doing exactly what I wanted in a vacuum! The suction is outstanding! I can see particles from about 5-7 inches away being sucked up. Really like that the vacumm fitsclose to baseboards so i dont have to use the hose and attachemtn tools. I appreciate the lower profile to go under chairs and even my kitchen cabinets! That's a bonus! The vaccum is fairly light weight, easily manageable! The canister removes easily for clean up and easily reattaches. The things I dislike are fairly minor. The cord is too short! Twenty-five feet? C'mon! I pop on an extension cord to fix that issue. Then, while I realize some people love it, the Febreeze attachment does not work for me! Many of us have allergies and can't stand chemical smells. I solved this issue by leaving the stinky pod out of the vacuum! Let me end on a positive note. I LOVE, LOVE,LOVE the roller brush that my long hair, and the dog's long hair is automatically whisked away! Simply brilliant!

This vacuum is pretty good. The suction power is very powerful. Which is really great, except even when adjusting the suction control (yes suction control - sweet!) the brush roll indicator light turns red and it stops suctioning. Not sure if this is due to the powerful suction, or the power fin blades. I love how large the dust cup is, so I can vacuum the whole house without having to empty it multiple times. The handle is comfortable and great for using the wand as well. With that said, the hose could have more length and/or flexibility. I’m still breaking it in but I can’t get very far from the vacuum when using it or the vacuum will fall over, which means you have to carry the whole vacuum with you as you’re using the wand. Speaking of length, the power cord is lacking in length. We previously had the Shark Rocket True Pet and I find myself missing being able to vacuum nearly the whole house (1 story) without having to unplug and replug in the vacuum. Overall I’m satisfied with its performance. For the size of the vacuum it is not very heavy and easy to use. I also like the odor neutralizer.

Oh my goodness, I cannot say enough great things about this vacuum like it actually makes you want to vacuum. It is so stress-free it’s effortless it moves freely and it pivots amazingly fits under most areas. It is phenomenal. I bought it on a whim because my Dyson broke and I actually will never go back to Dyson. I am a shark Person forever. I had the Dyson animal ball one or whatever where it was supposed to pick up Hair. It was such a pain. Every time I had to vacuum, I had to sit down and take the thing apart to get all the hair out, but with the shark the hair does not stick to the vacuum head rollers at all. It’s amazing and it really gets into the fibers of the carpet. I have yet to have to sit down and do anything with the Shark other than to sit down after the job is done. If there were more stars to give, I would definitely give more- worth its value.

I got this vacuum about a week ago, after spending way to much time going back snd forth between this and a cordless dyson.. id just end up forgetting up forgetting to plug it in to charge and i also wanted to make sure i had full power…. I got a dog and too many cats and i vacuumed my rooms prior to buying this and when i got home i tried it out and i was almost disgusted with what it picked up off my floor. It easily goes from hardwood to rugs with so much ease. Its fairly quiet for a vacuum. I read reviews all over, from here to amazon… im 100% satisified with my purchase

Excellent vaccum. I like the odor control fuction and the suction power it provides. We have a Corgi and he sheds alot in the summer. This vacuum worked great for getting all the pet hair up! Easy to push even on carpet.

This vacuum cleaner goes above and beyond the title. Most vacuum cleaners that do what this one does cost a lot more. This one was in my budget as a senior. It was so great that i bought a second one this year for my grand daughter, who is a disabled veteran, so the light weightedness has been so helpful for the both of us. Id say even lofe changing because she says she can clean the dog hair from her floors and sofa witt ease and not need to tale pai. Meds after cleaning. The reach is great too because those hard to reach places can get so cluttered wity dust that would cause her daughter to have allergies. Sonce she has had this vacuum the allergy symptoms have decreased. The deodorizer feature is amazing. We both use it on carpet and the tile floors. She said she doesnt have to sweep anymore-she just vacuums! Round of applause to the designer

These are some of the best vacuums I have ever used. I own a cleaning company and I will not own anything but a shark. The neutralizer for this makes everything smell so fresh and the suction power is wonderful. Quiet also!

Our Shark vacuum cleaner is our second one. This one is quieter and there is a hook to hold the cord while vacuuming. The cord could have been a bit longer. The vacuum is lighter and maneuverable. Overall we are pleased with the vacuum.

Shark havent failed me yet. This one has the best suction I've seen in awhile. It was picking red fibers that to the naked eye wasnt visible.

My last Shark vacuum lasted 14 years, and I’m hoping this one does the same. It’s the best vacuum I’ve ever had, hands down. Picks up dirt, leaves, and pet hair off carpet and hardwood like it’s nothing. Tubes stay clean and it comes apart easily for disinfecting. And the odor pod makes a HUGE difference. Decent price for a great vacuum.

I just got this new vacuum . I love this thing it picked up my cats litter and hair !! I have always used the broom so I had alot of dirt on my hardwood floor. Glad i made the switch makes it easier to clean.

My wife and I got spoiled with the old Shark Rotator. Suction and spinning head are great and we don't have to pull hair off the PowerFins. Odor Neutralizer is great too. What we don't like is that it has no light on the head, doesn't rotate as well as the old Shark Rotator, and it doesn't have a lift-away function.

My faithful old Oreck just wasn't up to the job anymore, especially now that I have two long-haired Siamese cats. So, after doing a good deal of research, I bought myself a Shark on sale at Best Buy and went to work as soon as I got home. The amount of dirt and dust from vacuuming just two rooms was incredible. This machine is a beast and I'm so glad I got it. My carpets look new again and it feels great to know I can keep my house clean, even with those two shedding fur babies. Best vacuum, best decision!

I like this model since it doesn't have the lift away. My previous Shark had the lift away which I didn't really need that feature and I don't care that it doesn't have lights. Who vacuums in the dark without the lights on? My other Shark had lights and I never appreciated that feature or even noticed the lights on? So for me it's not a feature that I need. Love the self cleaning roller. I consider this Shark as their practical model for me it's about reliability and good suction and so far my old Shark is still running after 10 yrs. Hopefully I will get the same performance out of this one?
