This is an EXCELLENT vacuum. It is better than the Dyson we had previously.

Very fast to empty the battery I just bought it last April 29, 2024

It is not worth the money, charge says 60 mins in specs but it's more like 30 on iq mode. If you use power mode it's more like 10 mins. Battery went out after 8 months. Battery are not available on their website because of high demand low supply. Better going with Dyson. My 150$ target vacuum gave me better results and lasted longer.

Compared to Dyson it is inferior. Not the strongest suction and the entire item is very plastic. The swivel feature is good. Love how it folds as stores.

A bit heavy for a cordless vac, doesn't work real well on area rug, very hard to push on area rug.

Sucking power is strong the first week. 1 month in and it does not suck up dust and hair into the canister anymore it just gets stuck in the bristles. It spits back out dust during passes, if you have dogs, horrible vaccum. The reviews were great, but it does not hold up. I’m returning and going back to Dyson.

With having neck surgery this was too heavy for me and I did not like the folding option, but it did have a very good suction and pick up

Excellent Product. I have been using it for over a month and would highly recommend it as an alternative to the expensive Dyson ones. I got this on sale at pretty steep discounts :)

Suction is ok but Not impressed for the money and battery is life terrible.

Dies in less than 20 minutes! I was seriously shocked by how quickly it dies. I've used it 3 different times and fully charged it each time.

Alreaady broke. Within the first year i had to buy replacement parts and the warranty did not cover them. After the year the motor blew up. Do not recommend.

The worst bug bucks purchase I have ever made. This vacuum is worthless. I turn it on and the battery is already at 80%. It does not pick up small particles whatsoever, it does not stand on its own. It is awkward and clumsy. It doesn't work on carpets. What have I done?

It’s okay, I prefer the plugin. Suction is amazing, normal carpet it’s fine, lightweight rugs not so much.

The new Shark Stratos stick vacuum is good, don’t get me wrong, but compared to my other Shark cordless vac (Shark Duo Clean), I was a bit disappointed with the new model. My older Shark does seem a bit larger, mostly just the head unit though, and the handle has gotten slimmer in the Stratos and more “streamline” look, but that shouldn’t affect performance. This is my fourth Shark vacuum and although I am happy with it, it is my least favorite of the fleet. THE GOOD: First let’s talk about what I did like about the new Stratos from Shark. Of course, being cordless makes it easy to use and great for quick clean ups, but the battery life limits you to shorter cleanings. (More on that later.) The battery is smaller and lighter than past batteries and the vacuum has an LED display in the handle to show the percentage of battery left (10% increments) so you know when your battery is getting low. I enjoyed having more information than just “high, med, low” on the battery life compared to my Duo Clean and when I was cleaning, I found myself checking the percentage often to gauge how much more cleaning I could do. The attachments are pretty standard for Shark now, but they still work well. I like being able to dust and clean corners quickly with the easy changing attachments. The flexible stick is also a great feature that my Duo Clean also has and I do use it occasionally when cleaning, but not all that often to be honest. The reason I like the bendable stick though is because of the storage. It folds in on itself like a little pit droid and fits into almost any closet without needing a stand or leaning on the wall. Unfortunately, the Stratos doesn’t have a handle like the dual cleaning, meaning carrying it around folded up is just awkward. The new “Clean sense IQ” will make an appearance in my positive comments and the negative side. But for now, the good. It was occasionally handy when it worked correctly and I enjoyed seeing a visual light showing me how much dirt was being picked up. However, I found this to be inaccurate at times or, at the best, delayed. The result is the vacuum constantly revving up just to drop back down seconds later because one cheerio went through the sensor 2 seconds ago. When working properly though, I could see this being a useful setting. I like that it helps conserve battery when there’s less need for high suction, I just wish it would hold the high power longer to make sure I really got that area clean. THE BAD: Now the not so good features of the Clean Sense IQ. Like I said, it didn’t always work properly for me during my testing and usually felt like it was lagging behind and by the time it sped up to get the dirty areas, I was already moved on to a “not dirty area”. This became frustrating and I decided I was going to turn off the IQ and just use a good medium, everyday clean speed. Unfortunately, there isn’t one. The Clean Sense mode IS the middle mode. There is ECO, which is basically only good for putting those nice looking “just vacuumed” lines in the carpet and not much more; IQ, which I discussed; and Boost mode, which is great…but burns up a full battery in about 12 minutes. So you can either get a longer battery life on Eco, listen to the motor go up and down and not make up its mind on IQ, or do some insanely deep cleaning for 10 minutes in Boost mode. This is not what I want in my full size vacuum. And I KNOW Shark can do better because they did - years ago with the Duo Clean that I also own. It just feels like a step back with this vacuum, especially for the large price tag. That said, this vacuum isn’t supposed to replace a Duo Clean vacuum and is still really good in a lot of areas. As you probably gathered by now, the battery life is not great. Now, let’s be fair here, it is a stick vacuum and the average run time for these bad boys is never good. If you want to vacuum for hours at a time, get a lot of backup batteries (if you can find them. Currently Shark does not sell this battery on their website) or buy a corded vacuum. I know it’s asking a lot for a battery vacuum to balance out long run time and performance, but I have seen Shark do this in the past so I was hoping this vacuum did as well. And when running in the IQ mode, it really does seem to be a decent balance. If you’re just doing some every day cleaning, this will work and you’ll get about 30 minutes, give or take 10 based on your floors and how dirty they are. But as I stated, I wasn’t loving the IQ mode all the time and I felt that Eco didn’t do a good enough job so if you have to run on Boost, you’re really only getting one room done on a battery. This means my hope that this vacuum could replace our daily user and be the main vacuum was not possible. Is it great at quick clean ups and average weekly cleaning? Yes absolutely! It just won’t be the one I reach for on big cleaning days when I plan to vacuum the whole house, furniture and dust etc. SO WHO’S IT FOR? I’m not saying it’s a terrible vacuum, I’m just saying it’s only really good for the right user. If you have a small apartment or just need a good battery powered, quick clean vacuum, the Stratos is perfect for you. You’ll be happy with any mode, the air freshener will give a fresh scent and your mess will be cleaned with no hair tangle in the brush roller. If you’re looking for the main heavy user vacuum of the house, you probably won’t be very happy. You’ll want more power and longer battery life and will need to buy more batteries or would benefit from just buying a corded Shark. (yes, I definitely recommend Shark vacuums over all, just find the one for you. They make so many great models.) For me, this is still a welcomed vacuum to have in my cleaning arsenal, it’s just going to be used as a support item instead of leading the charge. And as a stay at home husband who takes cleaning the house seriously, I need all the help I can get. Shark has in the past, and continues to provide me with great vacuums to clean all my family's messes.

I wanted to love it but The battery life is absolutely horrible. Vacuumed stairs and not even half of a small room and it died after being fully charged. 10-15 minutes max and it is brand new for christmas. Definetly going to try to return!
