Sorry, this fell apart shortly after we purchased it I’m very disappointed.

Perfect for carpet! We live in a townhome so it’s hard to clean upstairs, but this tool makes our job simple! Profound cleaning item!

little over a month the on a full charge it drops to 70% in 30 sec i timed it. The suction is weak. I might of got a defective vacuum but im planning on returning and going with another model

It did really well on the carpet and I could tell it actually got the stuff on the floor. However the battery does not last at all. Every time it got to 60% it would just shut off. If the batter wouldn’t die so fast it would be fine.

Not as powerful as you would think. Went with a Dyson but that quit working after less than 2 months lol

I barely got to try the vacuum when I got it. After it died, I discovered the box didn't have the charger. I had to drive 50 minutes to pick it up, so I am really disappointed that now I have to find time to go back

Damaged after 20 days- funny enough there’s only a 15 day return policy Vacuum does a decent job at vacuuming but it’s down fall is in the cheap plastic material- the locking mechanism snapped and now the bottom brushes don’t move- leaving me with just a handle to use- very disappointing

Light weight and has good power and picks up everything

The vacuum cleans very well, however the battery barely lasts 10 minutes. Cannot find any additional batteries as never in stock at Shark.

I got to use this Vacuum 3 times before I get an error code 40. I have done everything recommended to clear the code with no resolution. Thank goodness for Total Tech!! Back to Best Buy and back to the tedious search for a stick vacuum cleaner that can clean a basic house.

Picked this up looking for a cordless vacuum with a decent battery life, while also finding something to deal with the excessive pet hair my dog and cats produce. I have hard wood floors, with area rugs spread throughout the house. The carpets get gross and full of hair, and the hair that doesn't end up on the carpet blows around the house like tumbleweeds until it gets lodged in a corner or under furniture. Drives me crazy. This vacuum achieves most of my goals I set out with, but the battery on this is not great, and that is my biggest gripe with this item. This vacuum is nice because it does do a good job on the pet hair on the carpets, and obviously the cordless feature is always nice because I can take this wherever it's needed without worrying about if it will reach with the plug or if I need to unplug and move to a new outlet, or if I am getting tangled or stuck on things while vacuuming. Setup was easy. It does come in quite a few pieces unassembled in the box, and at first glance it can seem a bit overwhelming, but luckily there are plenty of stickers on the pieces, and a very helpful manual that tells you where to start and what goes where. Everything is click into place, which is nice. I like that the bottom of the vacuum, the roller part, comes un-attached so you can use the stick to get suction in corners. There is also a button on the middle stick section that makes it "bend" if you will, so that it can easily fit under couches or benches or other furniture that may usually be hard to get under. That is a nice feature. This also comes with 3 cleaning modes, a Clean Sense IQ mode, which basically "adjusts" to what it's cleaning. It starts in a low power suction, and then say you run into a giant clump of hair, or debris or cereal or whatever, it will auto kick in to a higher suction mode to account for the power needed. This is a great feature as well. The other 2 modes, are standard a high suction mode "full blast", and a lower power "eco" mode which gives really slow suction, but this may be viable for most situations. Also has a nice vibrant display that shows you how much battery life is remaining which is helpful. The main issue, which I touched on, is the battery life. Regardless of what "mode" I picked, I still only got about less than 30 minutes of power. Now, in most situations you don't need anything more than this, and that's something I factored into my review. This will do all the jobs you need it to. BUT, after the battery dies, which was most confusing to me is that the battery would take HOURS to recharge. Like I plug it in at 2pm, and then at 6pm it's still not fully charged. Seems like it shouldn't take THAT long to charge. Especially for only providing 30 minutes of power. I have a small house. If you have a large house, with multiple rooms to vacuum, you have to plan to split it up apparently to get it all done. I would still however, recommend this product. Although the battery life leaves something to be desired, the product itself is excellent and good with pet hair.

Hinge on the hose broke within months of purchase and "wasn't covered by warranty". Poorly made product and irresponsible service from shark.

Love this vacuum. Picks up very well the light is very good for seeing dust and dog hair. The battery is very good, I charged it and used it before I left for vacation was gone for over a month and the battery was still at 70%.

It won't hold a change, so i will have to return it

I have a Consumer reports #1 rated vacuum at a cost of $1350.00. Vacuumed the rug well with my Miele Vac then with my new Shark Stratos, it picked up a lot more dust and such. I am sold.

Was very good while it lasted. Stopped working 2 days after it was no longer returnable.

Doesn’t suction hard enough………. The head doesn’t fit in most places

With 2 very fluffy dogs we tend to go through vacuums rather quickly. We prefer these light weight stick vacuums like this Shark - Stratos Cordless with Clean Sense IQ. It is very light weight to carry from downstairs to upstairs. The only drawback is the dust cup on these light weight vacuums fill up quickly, especially when you have pets. The setup is very easy as with any stick vacuum. Attach the wand to the roller body at the bottom and the dust cup and motor assembly on the top. One difference with this Shark - Stratos Cordless Vacuum is that it has an Odor Neutralizing Cartridge which adds a fresh scent to the air and carpet as you vacuum up the dust, dirt and hair. I really like the fresh scent and will buy more cartridges as needed. The motor of the Shark Sratos is by far the best of any vacuum we have owned. There is 3 settings, Eco, clean sense IQ, and Boost. The clean sense did well. It added power to the suction when it sensed a dirty area but if you really want to get deep down dirt out put it in boost mode (or as I say, "Beast" mode) and really feel that suction. I ran it on Boost mode at 100% battery life and was down to 25% after vacuuming our living room, family room, and bedrooms. There wasn't a strand of dog hair left anywhere and the 2 rollers stayed hair free unlike previously owned stick vacuums that end up with a huge hairball after each use. As I said though the dust cup is small so I had to empty it 4 times while vacuuming those rooms. I tried the Stratos out on our hardwood floors also and it did very well. Usually a vacuum will shoot particles of debris around the floor when you try to vacuum hardwood but not this vacuum. It adjusts the roller speed automatically to gently pick up particles on hardwood and not shoot them out the back. Besides the beast mode suction the position you can fold it into for storage is the best part. Just press a button on the stick and you can fold the dust cup and motor part of the vacuum forward so it sits balanced and with a very tiny footprint. You could store this easily in a closet, under a table or even out in the open because it gets so small you would barely recognize it's a vacuum. We love this Shark - Stratos Cordless with Clean Sense IQ and hope to get many years of hard work out of it.
