Worth it, proven in minutes. NO HAIR WRAP!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This powerful vacuum arrived on a day that I had literally vacuumed the house. I figured I would test it out and see what it might pick up. After vacuuming only a 16 X 21 foot room, well I knew there was no use saving my 3 year old vacuum... Image showing the dirt in the tank was only after sweeping that one room, wow...and gross...I had to dump the tank twice through out the rest of the house. Those first few moments of use, had me knowing that this thing was worth it....but let's talk about it in more details. Right out of the box there is some assembly required. The manually has easy to follow step-by-step instructions and the pieces easily 'click' into place. Took less than 15 minutes to get everything out of the box and assembled to start cleaning! (Then again, my family calls me the professional assembler so your time may vary, haha) Two things from the advertisement pulled me in. 1) Strong suction and 2) self-cleaning brush roll for NO HAIR WRAP. The suction was already proven in the first few minutes of use, picking up what my other vacuum left behind. I do not have any pets inside the house, but I myself have long, thick hair which seems to follow me through the house and stick in the carpets. One of the things that I hate about normal vacuum heads is that hair gets caught in the brush wheel and is difficult to get out. As you can see in one of the images that the wheel doesn't have brushes like a normal vacuum. And I'm happy to say the image was taken after I vacuumed the rest of the house and bathroom rugs (that I missed this morning) that was covered with hair. Normally my old vacuum wheel would have been covered in the hair, this one didn't have a single hair tied up in it. Success at last! The vacuum can be used in multiple ways. All-together as a normal standup, detached from the tank (you hold the tank and vacuum under short areas like under couches/beds/hard to reach areas), and as a wand with attachments (not pictured, take the image vacuuming under the couch, the blue head would detach and become the wand). It's pretty light weight in comparison to other standups that I've had. There are three adjustment options for floors that includes high carpet, low carpet, and wood floors. An Odor Neutralizer that slips in the head, I can't say that I noticed a difference with this, it may be meant for households that have indoor pets. I also took it over to my grandparents house to test out picking up larger debris (they always have food on the floor after eating, haha). It picked up cornbread, shredded carrots, and cheerios with ease. Overall this thing blew my mind at what it picked up. The only thing that I wish it had was a little bit longer hose for when the tank is detached and used as a wand, but then again if it was too long it might get in the way when used as a standup. I completely recommend giving this thing a try, you won't regret it!

Excellent vacuum from Shark!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Shark - Stratos Upright Vacuum with DuoClean PowerFins HairPro, Self-Cleaning Brushroll, Odor Neutralizer Technology is a joy to use! The assembly is very easy and took maybe 5 minutes to read the assembly instructions and completely assemble the vacuum. The parts are minimal, so anyone will be able to handle the assembly. The build quality feels solid and the vacuum is very easy to maneuver. The vacuum mode can easily be selected from the handle depending what surface your on. Hard floor, carpet / Low pile, and Thick carpet / area rug. Suction is excellent and picks up excellent. The ability to detach the vacuum unit from the body for doing things like stairs or ceilings with the detachable wand is great! This is the second Shark I've owned and they're both excellent vacuums. Definitely on par with the Dyson vacuums I've used. The odor neutralizer cartridge was easy to install, and the vacuum smelled good while vacuuming. You can adjust the level of scent that is released by turning the cartridge. The canister is easy to lift off for emptying and reattaches easily. There are 2 spots for attaching the 3 attachments that come with the vacuum, so you'll need to store one of them in a drawer when not using. The cord is plenty long at 30 feet and rolls up easy. The DuoClean PowerFins HairPro roller system works great for picking up hair and other debri. It keeps the hair from getting tangled in the roller also. One thing I love about the Shark vacuums is the easy access panels for clearing out anything that happens to get stuck in either the rollers or the wand. A lot of thought went into the design. The LED light on the vacuum is awesome for seeing things you wouldn't see without the light! Especially on hardwood floors! I definitely recommend the Shark brand and this vacuum to anyone looking for an excellent vacuum!

Amazing vacuum
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Blown away by the suction on this vacuum. It picked up everything and more. We clean each week but somehow it gathered half the bucket on dust on the first try. It is not as heavy as I expected - from reading the other reviews.

Great vacuum!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What a great vacuum! We love shark vacuums and this one is even better than the last! The swivel head is nice and the lift away feature is handy. Love the slide bar to release the dirt. No more dirty hands! This thing picks up so well. When vacuuming our hard surfaces, if there are leaves or thicker debris, I have to switch it to carpet mode to pick it up, otherwise it pushes it around. Only thing I’ve found that hits a slight negative remark. Otherwise it’s a great machine!

Great vacuum
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have a cleaning company and this works perfectly! With floors and carpet, it has a feature that you can detach the whole body so you can get underneath furniture or small spaces, I only dislike one thing, that when you attach the hose to vacuum the edges it doesn’t have a light so you can’t see the hair balls unless you physically see it. But it sucks up everything! Never had a problem with it , we even have one for our home ! It’s flawless I’m just net picking but 100% recommend it !

Fantastic
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been extremely impressed with the Shark Upright Vacuum featuring DuoClean PowerFins technology. After using it for several weeks, I can confidently say it delivers powerful cleaning performance on both carpets and hard floors. The DuoClean PowerFins system is one of the vacuum's standout features. The combination of the soft roller and PowerFins brushroll picks up everything from fine dust to larger debris in a single pass. It transitions smoothly between hardwood floors, tile, and carpet without requiring any manual adjustments. The PowerFins maintain continuous contact with the floor, helping to remove embedded dirt and pet hair effectively. Another feature I appreciate is the self-cleaning brushroll, which significantly reduces hair wrap. As a pet owner, I no longer have to spend time cutting tangled hair from the brush after every cleaning session. The vacuum's strong suction power leaves floors looking noticeably cleaner, and the Lift-Away design makes it easy to clean stairs, furniture, and hard-to-reach areas. The HEPA filtration and sealed system are also excellent for trapping dust and allergens, making the vacuum a great choice for households with allergy sufferers. LED headlights help reveal dirt in darker areas, and the large dust cup means fewer trips to empty the bin during cleaning sessions. The only downside is that the vacuum is somewhat heavier than many stick vacuums, and maneuvering it on thick carpets can take a little extra effort. However, the cleaning performance more than makes up for the added weight. Overall, I highly recommend the Shark Upright Vacuum with DuoClean PowerFins. Its powerful suction, excellent pet-hair pickup, versatile design, and low-maintenance brushroll make it an outstanding choice for anyone looking for a reliable whole-home cleaning solution. I would rate it 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Great vacuum
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a game changer. The suction on the vacuum is the most I've ever experienced. The little thing like way the edges have a more effective bumper, the range of the headlight and the ease that it turns are an upgrade. I thought the filter would be a frivolous thing or would make me nauseous with a scent. Instead, I'm amazed at the lack of scent. I was unaware how much my old vacuum recycled my dogs smell into the air. It s easy to shift from my hardwood to the various rugs with ease. It is a little heavier than my last vacuum but it's negligible. The price is a sticker shock. It's the only downside.

Shark Stratos Upright
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Shark has never disappointed me and the Stratos Upright is a great vacuum cleaner. Has great suction power and the self-cleaning brushroll runs smoothly over the carpet leaving a clean appearance. The odor neutralizer is also a nice added feature providing a clean scent. It is not heavy to operate and the canister easily opens to dispose dirt and clean. I highly recommend the Stratos.

Very good vacuum -
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great vacuum. I have a husky mix any sheds so much, it picks up everything. I love the lift-away feature more than I imagined I would! It is still a very heavy floor attachment but it is much more maneuverable and easy to get under furniture. The separate handheld attachment is better for stairs, the floor attachment is much too big. Easy to empty, easy to use the attachments. Very happy with this purchase.

Shark Stratos doesn't disappoint!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Phenomenal suction! We have longhaired cats and a dog, so getting the Hair Pro was pretty much a certainty. I decided i didn't need the two-hundred-dollar upgrade for smart technology hair detection and all of the additional attachments [which are offered through Shark at a discounted price]. This one is just fine. Sharks have always had a balance problem when removing the wand and doing "dusting" work - not sure why they haven't been able to overcome this issue [this is our 5th shark model, we've burned up the motors on the last 3 after about 8 years each, having used Geek Squad protection to replace a couple - STRONGLY suggest getting that protection - it's a free vacuum! Anyway, the balance issue is the deduction of one star for maneuverability. The only other noticeable thing about the vacuum is that the odor neutralizer works too well - it really fills the air with the scent. Other than that, we've only had it a month, and it has worked like a dream thus far.

A Game Changer for Pet Owners!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a dog owner, pet hair is a constant battle, and this Shark Stratos has exceeded every expectation I had. It has incredible suction power and removes pet hair, dirt, and dust from both carpet and hard floors with ease. The self-cleaning brushroll is one of the best features because I never have to untangle hair from the roller. The DuoClean PowerFins pick up everything from fine dust to larger debris, and I love that the odor neutralizer helps keep the vacuum smelling fresh after every use. The vacuum glides easily, reaches under furniture better than my previous vacuum, and the attachments make cleaning stairs, furniture, and baseboards simple. It feels very well made and has made cleaning my home much faster. This is honestly one of the best purchases I've made. If you're on the fence about buying it, don't hesitate—you won't be disappointed. I would absolutely buy this vacuum again and highly recommend it to anyone, especially pet owners.

Sucked into the World of Shark: A Vacuum Odyssey!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Move over, mundane vacuum cleaners – the Shark has entered the cleaning arena like a stealthy ninja on a mission to annihilate dust bunnies and crumbs! This vacuum is so powerful; it practically inhales everything in its path. I dropped a Cheerio, and before I could say “vacuum,” it vanished into the abyss. I suspect the Shark has a side gig as a magician – making dirt disappear faster than you can say “clean freak.” The suction power is so intense; I accidentally vacuumed up my neighbor’s Wi-Fi signal. Now my internet is faster, and the Shark is probably streaming Netflix in its secret lair. Bonus points for multitasking! Navigating with this vacuum is like watching a choreographed dance – it gracefully swivels around furniture, slides under tables, and does a pirouette around the cat without disturbing its beauty sleep. I half-expected it to leave a vacuum trail spelling out “clean” behind it. The attachments are like vacuum accessories from the future. There’s a pet hair brush that’s so effective; it convinced my neighbor to adopt a cat just for the thrill of using it. The crevice tool is the superhero of tight spaces – forget crumbs, it can probably vacuum up my excuses for not cleaning sooner. The only downside? My other appliances are now jealous. My blender tried to pick a fight, but the Shark just stared it down with those powerful LED headlights. It’s like having a vacuum with an attitude – in a good way. In conclusion, if you want a vacuum that sucks with style, agility, and a touch of superhero flair, the Shark is your cleaning companion. It’s not just a vacuum; it’s a cleaning superhero on a mission to save your floors, one dust particle at a time!

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.wife and i own and operate a small cleaning company we have in the past gone through several 4 or 5 different brands of vacuums and had little to no luck they all failed quickly or just never really cleaned well to begin with but 16 years ago we had been given an older shark vacuum as a wedding gift and we loved it lasted us for years before it broke down so we bought the shark stratos and so far we have been in love it has been great its ability at cleaning hard floors is spectacular and carpet is just as good and the lift away feature makes doing steps and under furniture or using it to clean in high places easy as pie and the self cleaning brush roller systems actually keep all the hair in the front roller where its easy to clean out and i was worried that the oder control device would have a heavy sent as im really sensitive to sented air fresheners but luckily it smells freah and relatively neutral and hasnt bothered me as it dosnt linger for too long after running the vacuum all and all the shark stratos is a solid vacuum we have already used it hard use in the short time weve had it and so far it has over exceeded my expectations if you are thinking about if you should buy one just do it it is worth the price tag

Worth the money
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent vacuum! Went looking for something that was very versatile but also wouldn’t have me stopping every so often to clean hair wrapped around the rollers. Searched the internet for actual reviews and even asked Chat GPT. While this was not the #1 vacuum it ranked pretty high and I can agree. The tank comes off from the actual vacuum so you can walk up stairs and use the wand, or on furniture. The vacuum also pulls itself a little, not like it’s trying to run any from you or anything just a little to make it comfortable to go over carpet. I haven’t had any issues with hair getting tangled in the rollers. Assembly was very easy and the air freshener it comes with that you put in the vacuum actually smells nice and not chemically.

Best vacuum I have ever purchased
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love this vacuum! It took a little getting used to how powerful it is but it's amazing, especially with the pet hair. If I had to pick something to change about it, I would figure something out with the attachments. They do tend to get knocked off the holders quite the often while cleaning. Not a big concern for me though. I would still consider this the best vacuum I have ever purchased. Well worth the money.

It sucks - 5 out of 5
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This vacuum has incredible suction power. The lift away feature is very handy when doing stairs and vacuuming under furniture. It's very easy to release the wand for hand vacuuming and cleaning out the canister. Its very agile and moves with ease. I don't find it heavy for a full sized corded vacuum, however, I am an able bodied reasonably healthy 40 year old. The freshener cartridge has a pleasant, non lingering scent.

Clumsy, but strong!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome vacuum! Clumsy, but strong! With its large container it tends to be a little top heavy and wants to lean to whichever side you're steering towards. But, other than that this thing has the best suction I've seen since my Mom's Kirby. The rollers are truly hair shedding... I have daughters and that's the #1 complaint I've had with ALL of our vacuums! NOT THIS ONE :) Whats cool is the hairs get spun up on top of the cone filter and it's easy to remove the wad when emptying the container!! The 2nd best feature I love it's the ability to vacuum both out carpets and hard floors! Now my Dyson stick stays in the pantry! Definitely recommend to all my family and friends!
