It kina works. It doesn't have powerful suction but itll do sour something quick

The suction is weak and you would think for 90 bucks it would come with a wall mount. I should really return this.

Poor suction. I got this to use in my vehicles and it doesn’t work well at all.

This little vac prioritizes convenience over power, but as a complement to a standard household vac it's pretty great. I now have four cats, and I have to vacuum almost daily. Lugging the main house vacuum up and down floors to get the little fuzz piles and bits of litter that find their way into impossibly small nooks and crannies is a real pain, and this cordless hand vac is great for getting light messes left behind by my hairy housemates. The Shark doesn't have the same suction power that a corded handheld vacuum would, but the fact that you can just maneuver this where needed without worrying about cord reach makes up for it. The vacuum is able to get litter particles, bits of paper, and hair with no difficulty. The collection cup doesn't hold much, but emptying it is extremely easy. The cup's hinge is attached to the device body, so you have to hold it carefully over the trash can, but after a first attempt it's pretty clear how you have to hold the vacuum to empty it. There are attachments for more narrow work, but nothing like the nozzle attachment that's standard on larger vacs. Given the expected lighter duty of this vac, you won't find yourself longing for a bigger assortment of cleaning tools. Battery life is decent on this device. Charging time is on the high side, but if you remember to "set and forget" after using you won't run out of power before your tour of the house is complete. Perhaps the primary advantage of this unit is it's incredibly light weight. Other handheld vacuums I've used are appreciably heavier and larger, which means manipulating them sometimes feels like only marginally less work than using an upright vacuum. The Shark, however, can be carried around with ease. You can go right to the litter trail that fell off kitty's paws on the stairs and then go right to the hair pile from the cat fight in the corner of the bedroom with minimal effort. You'll have to run the unit over messes a little more than you would have to with other handheld vacs (because of the slightly disappointing suction power), but you'll still save time over other methods for cleaning. In short, if you need a cordless handheld vac to help you clean up the daily minor messes your pets leave behind, then this vacuum might be for you. Just bear in mind that you'll need something stronger for the heavy duty work as well.

loud in operation, not powerful at all. a waste of money

This is not for pets. The bin is very small and the vacuum is very under powered.

I’ve doubt shark sweepers and appliances before that have been great, but I’m very disappointed with this one. It was bought to replace a different brand hand vac that id used for 4 years. This will not pickup small amounts of pet hair without a ton of effort and it’s just generally hard to use. Wanted to return immediately but my wife threw away the box. Ended up giving it away to the parents and feel bad even giving it to them. Guess I’m looking for another hand vac now.

Great product. Had to order twice, because both times items were missing from the box. The second time I just gave up and ordered a charger of the Shark website.

If you need a hand held vacuum that will last more than ten minutes this is not for you batteries lasted maybe less than 10min

The last one I had, stopped holding a charge after about 9 months. But I loved it, so I bought another one and the same thing is happening after 2 weeks!

It jammed up after two uses and won’t work. Waste of money.

Vacuum was shipped with no charging cord, no booklet and only one attachment, i returned it to the store for a refund.

Handy not so little Shark Ultra Cyclone Pet Pro Plus CH 951 has lots of features like 3 attachments that easily pop on and off the air-intake nozzle. Great for small clean ups when I don't want to get out my full size Shark Navigator or for use in places with no electrical outlet like my parking lot. This model has a motorized pet power brush with no hair wrap. You have to tilt it forward a bit so that it is level on the surface for best suction. Because this attachment is powered it drains the battery faster than the other two. The crevice tool and scrubbing brush are not motorized and I use the crevice tool the most or no attachment to cover a wider area. I was able to vacuum the floor, fold down rear deck and mats inside my small SUV before the battery needed to recharge. Clean Touch Dirt Eject Push button on the side of the dust cup lets you empty the dirt into the trash can without touching it. Dust cup release button on the bottom lets you access the removable filter inside to empty or remove to wash. I use my full size Shark to clean the washable filter and inside my Ultra Cyclone between filter washings since it needs to dry for at least 24 hours. So far the only negative is that the lithium-ion battery takes 6 hours to fully charge and when it is done, it is done. Light flashes quickly when power is low and then it just stops. Plug it back into the adapter and the blue light will blink until fully charged.

Returned back to store.. does not pick up pet hair well and the suction was not very impressive. Have other shark products but this one is not on the same level.

Had to go over the same spot 8 or 9 times to remove dog hair from chair fabric. Battery would be dead before couch could be done. Really disappointed in shark ninja vacuums. Returning to try a different brand.

I don't like it at all it doesn't have much power.

Not great suction! I purchased this to utilize as a vacuum for our SUV. It struggled to pick up just normal dirt from the floor mats. Returning ASAP.

I have had my share of shark handheld vacuums. I have warn out one pet pro 2 (model sv780) and am working on my second. I use it almost daily to clean up after my kids and just keep things tidy. I jumped at the opportunity to try this out. The pet pro really does well for the tasks I ask of it, so an updated version with lithium battery and tools, I was on board to test. I use the handheld vacuums to clean up crumb messes on my chairs, floors, touch up my stairs without pulling out my big vacuum, and in my vehicle between shop-vac uses. So, first of all, this vacuum is light, says 2.5lbs, but it doesn't feel like it. the size is slim and grip and angle to vacuum are comfortable. The tools are narrow, so I can use the power head on the vetrical sections of my stairs easily. The suction power is quite impressive, a far cry from the first black and Decker's I used in the late 80's, and is better than the pet pro 2. The power is consistent and I ran it from fresh charge to dead, and the power and suction was there until it wasn't, no fade. I lost track of time on it, but at least 15 to 20 minutes of vacuuming. I have one old chair that is feux suade and 2 cats that like to lay on it. The power head did an ok first pass on the hair, it does not tangle like the old bristle brush, but it also doesn't get the hair off the material as well. I used the brush attachment and that does the trick, though you do have to stop and pull the hair off the bristles at times to let it get sucked up. Emptying the dirt bin is quick, hold over a trash can and push the button, the flap opens and drops right out of the front. nice to not have to remove the whole cannister and dump and put back. You still can do that though and rinse the filter or the whole dust bin if needed. Two things that I see as a missed opportunity with this specific model are no stand for it to store the tools on and charge. My petpro 2 has a nice stand for the tools and the unit sits upright charging in it. this you just have laying on it's side with the cord plugged into it. Also I wish they still included a standard bristle power head with the no tangle. overall though this does what I need, great suction and power, I will give it 5 stars, but if I could do 4.5, that would be what I gave it because if not having a charging stand and storage for the tools. I don't know why they didn't. The price is a bit more than my old unit, but you do get a better vacuum with it. I do recommend this product.

It fair because it does the work but the battery dies fast

Charge doesn’t last long. Easy to clean. Wish it had extended or longer hoses for hard to reach places.
