Well I have been needing a replacement for my dust buster that daily cleaning up after pets killed. This thing is awesome. Much more power and longer life on a charge than the dust buster dirt devil. Saves time and hassle of getting out the full size vac every day. Attachments are perfect for vacuuming up lots of cat and dog hair we seem to have around the house. I also use it for cleaning up small messy hobby projects, dirt, drywall dust etc. as well as a bonus that it is super convenient to use to sweep out floor boards of the car. This is honestly a great cordless powerhouse. We use it probably every other day!

The Shark Ultracyclone Pet Pro+ is a very powerful but lightweight cordless vacuum that I’ve been using for the last couple of weeks, and I’m happy with how it’s performing so far. Pros: Very powerful suction Has three tools. Along with the common crevice and brush extension, the powered roller-type brush is very very useful. Shark claims its self-cleaning, and in the limited time I’ve used I did not face with roller getting stuck with hair It’s very easy to empty the dust The build quality is solid. The plastic body is hard and well-built - no squeaky rattly stuff that are common in other portable vacuums The design is unique without getting very crazy. The size is good, and the entire thing is very very lightweight The fabric filter is washable and cleans easily The charger is average size - not a huge brick I’ve seen elsewhere The motor is not the quietest, but much better than regular handheld vacuums Cons: The battery life is very ordinary. Being a new product from Shark, I was expecting a better run-time. I ran out of fully charge unit while cleaning my sedan I didn’t see any low-battery warning, so I was left with no power while in the middle of cleaning my car, which was bummer The charging time required from 0-100% is quite long. Again I was expecting something better If a flexible hose-type extension was included it would have been much better In summary, other than the run of the mill battery-life, the vacuum does it’s job perfectly. I would recommend anyone who has a pet-hair issue to consider it as an option. I’m guessing the short battery life won’t be much of an issue if you’re always using it indoors and charging regularly.

Great replacement for my old dustbuster

My Black and Decker Dustbuster gave up the ghost after 12yrs of service. For the last few years after I replaced a battery I could no longer get it to run for more than 3 mins and the motor must have died because there is no more suction. I wanted to like the wv201 but it the high pitch whine was the equivalent to constant nails on a chalk board to me. I thought maybe it was a defective unit but there have been numerous complaints about the same issue. The Shark Ultracyclone looks sleek enough where my wife doesn't mind that it's tucked in a corner somewhere for quick clean ups. Big pro of the WV201 was it looked nice even on a counter. The old dustbuster was not allowed out of the closet unless busting dust. Through my use, this has been my impression of the Ultracyclone: - Noise level is a little loud but not to the point where it was piercing my ears. - Suction is surprisingly good for a smaller unit. Perfect for dust, hair and other smaller peices of debris. - The motorhead has the same roller as some of sharks other vacs that resist hair getting tangled up on the bar which is a godsend for a household with sheddding girls. I have no pets in the house to attest to animal hair but it WORKS for woman/girl hair. - Dust bin is simple to empty and with no tight spots that are hard to reach. - The 1 filter is easy to access and clean. It would have been nice to see some of the following: - Battery indicator the LED (which is a really bright blue) flashes when it gets low then just cuts off as opposed to gradually draining down power. - Brush tool could have a retracting brush to act as a brushless extension wand. - A wall hanging charging station with a hot swappable replaceable battery For the short time I have used this handheld I am impressed with it and I would recommend it to anyone who cant bear the noise of the WV201. If this can last as long as my previous handheld, it is a solid win for me.

This hand vac is good for light to medium tasks of pet hair removal. The suction and battery charge duration are good for a light weight vac and love the brush design. Does not get clumped up like brissels.

It’s powerful, much more so than other handhelds I’ve used. Yet, it is surprisingly lightweight, at least far lighter than I would have expected. It’s a bit on the noisy side, but not annoyingly so. Cleanup is fast and easy. The unit slides apart (and back together) easily to dump the contents without mess. We sometimes have to remove accumulated cat hair (nicknamed “Junior”) by pulling out, but the internal airflow causes it to be wound up in such a way that it comes out in one glob. A nice feature is that the filter is washable. I was expecting to have to purchase a supply of paper replacement filters, so this was a pleasant surprise. The only real downside is that the unit needs to be charged fairly frequently. A device like this is obviously designed for occasional “spot” use, but it works so well that we end up vacuuming entire rooms with it, so maybe it’s partially our fault.

    Useful Little Vac

The Shark UltraCyclone Pet Pro+ is a pretty useful little vacuum cleaner. For starters, it has a lot of power for the size. This makes it useful for things like pet hair and other more difficult issues. The battery seems to hold a charge well. Some similar vacs seem to lose a charge in a lot less time, but the Shark keeps going. Of course, something this small is going to be limited by battery size, but it is good enough. It has a variety of attachments that all work well. I want to particularly highlight the crevice tool because it is well designed and will fit in smaller spaces than the crevice tool for many other small vacs; yet, it has not clogged on us. It would be helpful if it were a bit longer, but it gets the job done for most things. Overall, this is just a really solid, easy-to-use, strong hand vac.

I recently put the Shark UltraCyclone Pet Pro+ Cordless Hand Vac to use cleaning around my home and in my car. The unit itself is pleasing in appearance and was larger than I expected after viewing it online. It came fully assembled, minus the attachment (3 were included) and was very simple to charge and use. I tested the unit out removing hair and dirt from a rug and stairs, spilled sugar off of the kitchen floor, dust from vent covers, and dust and dirt from the crevices in my car. The UltraCyclone performed well in all of the aforementioned situations. After the initial charge I used the unit until it died (approx. 25-30min). As hand vacs go, I would definitely recommend this unit and give it a 5 star rating. Pros: Lightweight and portable @ 2.8lbs making it great to use on stairs and in vehicles, Moneysaving washable filter, Hands-free emptying of the CleanTouch dirt canister, Powerful suction vs. other hand vacs Cons: Charging time can be up to 6hrs when unit is “dead”, No wall mount to store unit or storage spaces for tools, dirt canister filled quickly/could be larger

The Shark - UltraCyclone Pet Pro+ CH951 Cordless Hand Vac has more pros than cons. Pros: Fairly powerful Comes with some good attachments Battery life seems good Self-cleaning brush is great. No more trying to pull hair out every time it’s used Easy to clean filter Cons: A little large for a hand vac No replaceable or swappable battery Suction power could be better Overall a good hand vac that will be great for quick pick ups around the house and car.

    Handy Vacuum

Bought this over two years ago to help keep the apartment clean from cat litter and its still going strong. Sometimes I get carried away and will spot vacuum the whole place. I like that its easy to keep clean and empty. It's not as powerful as a traditional corded vacuum, but it definitely does a good job. I find that using the attachment helps increase suction. I have used it in my car and on furniture too. Battery recharges within 3-4 hours. It lasts about 20 or 25 minutes with consistent use. I can usually leave it off the charger for a week and use it once or twice a day or a minute or two. Parts of it can be tricky when putting it back together after cleaning - like sliding the body back on the battery/handle. The filter isn't great, but at least it's reusable and washable. It's a bit clunky for storage, but it's not too bad to look at and is a good price for a "dustbuster".

This Shark Cordless Vacuum is very powerful in suction I was amazed. Super easy to use. It definitely gets the job done when it comes to the everyday messes. Comes with 3 attachments that install easily. The filter is washable so no need to buy anything separate. Holds a pretty good charge. I was able to use it for a long time with no problems at all!! Since its lightweight it did not make my hard tired which is a Big Plus! Definitely a vacuum to have around the house or car.

I've had a handheld vac for about 12 years that I absolutely love, but I thought it was time to see what the market had to offer. I didn't think I find much out there better than mine. I've used handheld vacs from some family and friends and it never had what I was looking for. So when I seen this, I had to try it! I absolutely love it! I vacuumed my vehicle out, and it even it sucked up the really big pieces of garbage that was in there! I was so amazed I started switching attachments to see the difference in use. The only thing negative I have to say about this (is the reason for the four stars and not five) is that the garbage compartment is really small and fills up really fast. If there's some kind of way you can make that bigger, so it's less dumping in between vacuum, that would be great! I love the fact that it's so small that you can get into the smallest crevices that my old hand vac couldn't. I guarantee you though, you cannot go wrong with this purchase!

The Pet Pro+ model (CH951) includes a self-cleaning motorized brush, scrubbing brush and crevice tool. The internal lithium-ion rechargeable battery is not user replaceable. Simple wall AC adapter with barrel plug to charge the vac. No fancy stand or holder for the vac or accessories. Charge indicator near the on/off button will flash slowly while charging. When charging is complete it will stay lit solid for 5 minutes then shut off. The light will flash quickly while the vac is in use if the battery is low. The self-cleaning motorized brush attaches to the vac in a way that will not get knocked loose. The scrubbing brush and crevice tool are friction fit and it is possible for them to come loose. When I use the scrubbing brush to clean my couch, the brush gets pulled off while cleaning between cushions. Our two cats do not hold still while brushed so we have a hard time managing hair at the source. They love the back of our couch at the window and it has been a challenge keeping the couch clean. Our female cat has exceptionally fine hair. It has a way of working through and embedding in the fabric. The motorized brush does a good job but cannot get all her fine hair out of our textured couch. I use the scrubbing brush attachment to get the rest of the hair. It has short bristles so it does a great job of working out the hair the motorized brush could not get. It is the best scrubbing brush attachment for pet hair out of any vac we own because the bristles are short. It does not “brush” over the hair like a long bristle brush attachment, it drags the embedded hair out of the surface. I am a big fan of Shark’s self-cleaning motorized brushes. This brush prevents hair tangle just as well as our larger Shark vacs. I would much rather use the UltraCyclone Pet Pro+ on our couch daily instead of our stick vacs. The motorized brush on this hand vac is not as aggressive so I don’t need to worry about wear and tear on the fabric like I do with the stick vacs. We are happy with this vac. We keep it close to the couch.
